Soo Yin accepted Do Jin's invitation to go with him. While on the way, Soo Yin reached into the cellphone in her bag. It's been a day without checking her cellphone at all. Afraid that Jean might contacted her.
Soo Yin was shocked to see that there were ten missed calls from Dae Hyun. When she checked call history it turned out that there was also chat for almost ten minutes. The girl tried to remember what was said on the phone but couldn't find it.
Soo Yin smacked her forehead with her palm. Afraid that while talking on the phone she said something strange. Because she can't remember even a bit.
"What is wrong?" Do Jin asked as he focused on staring at the road in front of him. Just glanced for a moment at Soo Yin who looks nervous.
"Ah, no ... it's nothing," Soo Yin said with a big smile.
"You look anxious!" Do Jin said.
"Hmm, what did Dae Hyun say to you before you came to the villa?" Soo Yin who was already feeling curious asked. Biting her lower lip in nervousness.
"He said that his wife is very unruly, ugly and messy in appearance. Even plans not to go to parties," Do Jin said casually.
"Ugh, how annoying!" Soo Yin grumbled with a frown on her face.
"Ha ha ha, I'm just kidding. You don't have to frown like that. Dae Hyun was just worried about your condition so he told me to see you," Do Jin said with a smile.
"Why doesn't he meet me himself?" Soo Yin asked while pursing her lips.
"He's leaving with Aeri and their son," Do Jin replied.
Soo Yin chose to remain silent and didn't say another word. The more questions the more it made her heart hurt even more to accept the fact that she was not Dae Hyun's top priority.

'What I think? I should be happy if Dae Hyun didn't care about me anymore. So that I will immediately be free from him,' Soo Yin cursed her heart that was not in line with her thoughts.
"From now on, you must try to be the top priority compared to Aeri." Do Jin knew what Soo Yin was thinking so he gave her a little advice.
Soo Yin only glanced briefly at Do Jin then turned her face back forward. Must try to strengthen her heart before arriving at the hotel. She is sure that there will be so many scenes that will made her heart burn even more.
After thirty minutes they finally arrived at the front yard of the hotel. Do Jin parked the car first.

With a feeling of laziness, Soo Yin finally exited and followed Do Jin's steps to enter the hotel.
The Silla Seoul Hotel's birthday event was usually held very lively so there was a red carpet to enter the party area. There were also photographers who were ready to capture their photos.
It turned out that the park was full of invited guests as well as guests staying at the hotel. The Silla Seoul Hotel was one of the five star hotels in Seoul so that many celebrities and wealthy businessmen came.

Without waiting for approval, Do Jin hooked Soo Yin's hand on his arm. Walked on the red carpet and smiled at the camera. Do Jin also invited Soo Yin to take a group photo at a photo booth that has been provided by the committee.
The men who came were so enchanted by Soo Yin's appearance tonight. Including Manager Han who watched them from a distance until he was amazed. He thought that she was Do Jin's lover.
Soo Yin felt uncomfortable when everyone stared at her. There were also those who invited her to get acquainted. Soo Yin only replied with a smile.

"We'd better capture the moment tonight," Jean said. She took the cellphone in her pocket with one hand.
Soo Yin actually felt embarrassed when some people see the two of them. But she chose to obey Jean to take a photo because it seemed that Jean didn't care. Gratefully after Jean left because a guest asked her to get another drink.
"Come on, soon the event will start. Let's prove that you are more worthy than Aeri in front of everyone," Do Jin said as he pulled Soo Yin's wrist to follow him.

The duke hopes that a girl close to the age of his adoptive daughter will be what she needs to recover, but things are never as easy as they seem. First is that this adopted daughter is a Terran, a rare being from a different world that has skin and hair as white as snow and an almost alien build. Second is that there is a power to this girl, one that makes her recovery all the more dangerous to Nalulthyn and perhaps beyond. Author's note: This is a soft reboot of Artifice: Tools of the Gods. As I wrote the other story years ago I felt it would be better to do this approach as my writing has changed and improved since then. For now only two characters will return though I might reintroduce others later in the story. Even though this has the gore tag, I don't plan on being excessive with it. Most chapters shouldn't have any. The only reason I have it is to be realistic with the descriptions.

His plans are to develop modern weapons to strengthen the human nation because the mages and aura users aren't immortal or have steel flesh even as they get more power to the point they can deal damage of a howitzer using special moves. Though it doesn't mean that there aren't magical armours (and other things)... Extra: I'm not sure if romance will be in this. Depends on whether you, the readers, would like it or how I develop the story further.
