World Magic: I Awakened Light And Dark Magic Attributes Chapter 17

"What a... greedy fellow!"
Hughes shook his head and pursed his lips. His originally calm and tender demeanor gradually turned cold and stern. He slowly opened his palm and light magic took shape in his hand.
As Hughes released his mana, his aura as a high-level mage was also revealed.
The atmosphere became tense between the two of them. Many of the surrounding students could not help but widen their eyes. In front of them was the conflict between the new student and an older student. On one side was Hughes, who was comparable to some of the older students, on the other was someone who was at top of his class, Ferri. They were extremely curious as to who was stronger between the two of them.
"Stop!"
Just as the two of them were fighting, a deep cry was suddenly heard from afar. Then, the sound of rushing wind could be heard as a strong figure appeared between the two of them.
When the surrounding students saw who it was, they were immediately shocked. Then, they quickly said respectfully, "Archmage Rodney!"
The man called Archmage Rodney was middle-aged. He had a determined look on his face. Outside of his body, the aura of the Archmage was faintly discernible, causing the surrounding students to feel a great pressure.
When they saw him, even the arrogant Ferri restrained his arrogance. After all, the person in front of him was a genuine archmage-level powerhouse. Even in the Lach Academy... he was considered a powerhouse. Naturally, he dared not offend him.
"If you want to compete in the academy, you can go to the arena. Do you want to be punished for embarrassing yourself outside?" Rodney looked around and said in a deep voice.
"Hehe, Archmage Rodney, we're just having a friendly exchange."

Ferri smiled. He knew that he could not fight Hughes today. He looked at Hughes, stretched out his finger, and said, "See you in the arena tomorrow. Don't be afraid to come!"
After saying that, Ferri turned around and left. Hughes could still vaguely hear him muttering. "It's just a lousy support talent. So what if it's SS-grade..."
Alice also heard Ferri's deliberate mumbling. Her face turned a little ashen. She gritted her teeth and said, "Hughes, this guy is really too arrogant. He's just an elemental mage. If I wanted him dead, no one would be able to stop me."
When Hughes saw Alice, who was filled with righteous indignation, he could not help but laugh. He patted her shoulder and said, "Why are you so angry? If a dog bites you, don't tell me you're going to bite it back?"
"I'm still unhappy!"
"I'm a little unhappy." Hughes pursed his lips and smiled. The young man's gentle face slowly turned cold. "Although I can't bite it back, I'd like to kill it with a stick. I want to knock it so hard that it doesn't dare to scream anymore."
"Ferri really does resemble his father."
Archmage Rodney looked in the direction Ferri had left and frowned. It was obvious that he was also slightly dissatisfied with Ferri. Then, he turned his head and smiled at Hughes.
"Well said. I agree."
"But Ferri is already a mid-level elemental mage. Moreover, he has an S-grade fire elemental talent. His attack power is comparable to a low-level intermediate elemental mage. Are you sure you want to go to the arena tomorrow?"
"Don't worry, Archmage Rodney. Since I said it out loud, I must have full confidence in my words."
"We'll go back first, Archmage Rodney."

Archmage Rodney waved his hand and watched as Hughes, who was carrying the monster egg gradually leaving with Alice and Otis. He could not help but smack his lips. This little guy was not old, but he seemed unpredictable...
There was no trace of a youth's unique impatience and arrogance on him, but he could always vaguely feel the sharpness hidden under the indifference. It seemed that Kate had picked up a treasure this time...
"Hughes, are you really going to fight Ferri tomorrow?"
Otis could not help but ask worriedly on the way home.
"That's right, Hughes. You don't have to come tomorrow. No one would dare say anything. Moreover, if he really hurt you, I will immediately make him disappear."
Alice said with some panic. She felt guilt for the incident.
She did not want to affect Hughes because of this incident, so she was a little flustered.
"Don't worry, don't worry. I probably wouldn't lose."
Hughes said calmly.
Although he was only an intermediate mage now.
But with his SS-grade light magic talent, the spells he cast might not be inferior to the spells cast by a mid-level elemental mage!
Moreover, he also had the ultimate cheat, Lorelei's tome!
"Oh right, what's so special about this egg? You didn't even hesitate to use a free chance to get it."
Alice looked curiously at the Broken Monster Egg in Hughes's hand.
"Nothing, I just wanted to prove a guess."
Hughes said with a smile and did not explain further.
...
After walking for a while, Alice separated from Hughes at a fork in the road. There were no other twists and turns on the road after that. Hughes smoothly took the purple thunder fire lion demon beast egg and returned to the second floor of the villa.
"Purple thunder fire lion. The adult body can reach the ruler-level at max!"
In the bedroom, after checking the information of the purple thunder fire lion, Hughes excitedly looked at the giant purple egg that was about 80 centimeters long that was placed on the chair.
As long as he could hatch this egg, he would be able to obtain a terrifying demon beast that could grow to the ruler-level!
"I know the thunder of nature, but what is this earth flame?"
With that question in his mind, Hughes continued searching for information on the computer.
After about ten minutes, he collecting the information and leaned back in his chair to think.
It would be a bit troublesome to get the earth flame.
An earth flame was formed by the natural combination of magma and magic.
In other words, Hughes was going to have to search for an underground magma cavern outside of the city.
But he was still too weak.
Rashly going outside the city of San Pedro was basically suicide.
Soon, Hughes had an idea. He turned on his computer again and entered the mage forum.
After entering the forum, Hughes opened the materials store and looked for the earth flame.
Soon, he found the information of the sale of the core fire.
"Earth flame, 150,000 USD!"
Looking at the high price, Hughes could not help but click his tongue.
Fortunately, St. Peter's High School had rewarded him with 200,000 USD, or else he could only watch helplessly.
As for the Lach Academy's reward, it would only be confirmed after he officially entered the school.
"I'll buy it!"
Hughes gritted his teeth.
After all, it was a contracted beast that could grow to a ruler-level.

8 2402The War Wolves
If you’re good at something, never do it for free. That’s what Ludgar’s uncle taught him. Sellswording isn’t the most glamorous life, but it pays well if you’re good at it. Interesting as well, if you ignore the very probable possibility of a swift, sticky end at the hands of pointy things. When the mercenary lifestyle grows incompatible with the Kingdom of Evandis, he and his merry band of misfits set off west to seek those with a better proclivity for warfare and with much deeper pockets. At his side: a wandering barbarian who teeters on the edge of savagery, a girl who would have a heart of gold if she didn’t pawn it off to the nearest fence, a wannabe knight who is absolutely overcompensating for something, and the last person in the universe who should be anywhere close to magic. But, as most mercenaries find, the right decisions are quite an expensive luxury, and the wrong ones happen to pay very well. Then again, what are the value of morals to a hungry wolf?

He thought that would never get the chance to defend the village from the spike feeders, the deadly creatures jutting out with hazardous spikes haphazardly all over. Only predator beast souls were given the requisite training and allowed to join the village guard. Perry just didn't meet their criteria. He was also wrong.Soon Perry will live out his wildest dreams and more, as he scales the rankings of beast soul mastery, fights innumerable dangerous spike feeders and solves mysteries related to the origin of beast souls and spike feeders. And maybe, just maybe, he'll even get to join the city guard. Genre-wise, Mortal Mewling is a GameLit story (light on the GameLit) focused on action and adventure. The Gore tag is there more as a precaution, rather than a promise to keep producing gory words. Mortal Mewling is a bit of a slow burn in terms of start, scale and capacity of the protagonist. 8 88Gon And Killua Fanfic
Ok similar to my last story this is a fanfic about Gon and Killua. I don't feel comfortable writing about them at the age they are now so I'm aging them up so they will be 16. I have cute pictures to go with the story and some of them they don't look 16 or whatever so we're just going to pretend :)
