Outside...
"Is that the sacrifice, a human...?"
"Isn't a human one of the weaker race...?"
"It is said that human was so powerful..."
"It is also said that the human is a fourth holder..."
"What...?!"
"How could that be...?!"
"That human is also incredibly powerful, capable of killing a Barathruma Wendigo that can stop time...!"
"That's bullshit how could that be..!?"
A gossip outside was circulating while they are watching jomel being bound by the chain. Some of them hate him and some of them admire him.
...
When the question was asked to Jomel, his face contorted from being tired to madness, there's no particular reason for it but somehow it triggered a hatred from his subconscious mind.
A minute later...
He calmed himself down, after all his fate was in their hands, bring irrational won't help him either. It will just get him into trouble.
He just couldn't control himself because the reason is that his Soul-Beasts Hidden ability and moves are now gone.
His TaoTierus and his Empterror.
It was a very sad moment for him that was interrupted by the voice, the memory of his precious beasts are completely gone, there's not even one move left to remember them.
Jomel ignored the question and tears suddenly fell from his eyes, it was glistening with sadness for the loss of his precious beasts.
When he first met them, he promised that he will not be overly attached but it seems that he always overestimated himself so much. He was now in very deep pain.
Clink
His arms are trembling slowly with the chain that is making a clanging and clinging sound, a moment later, he looks up and muttered with a sorrowful tone.
"My beasts are now gone..."
The voice replied, "We understand, we are sorry..."

Jomel froze and the atmosphere suddenly changed after the voice said those words.
He replied absentmindedly back "You understand..."
"Yes, we do..."
"Then why send three of them...? Three legendary beings...?"
This time, the whole lot of canine race people was roaring in disbelief, a human killed three legendary beasts in one go. They know how powerful one is and all of them have pressures that can overpower all other kinds.
That's why they are all in disbelief from this human killing three of them, just one of them is so rare to be seen in the wild and now he just killed three of them.
Jomel is angry, isn't this just a trial so why send three strong beasts? Plus the last one was terrifyingly strong, if that guy didn't intend to commit suicide, he would have stayed fighting in there forever.
He can't use Motus combat form so he cannot poison it, so the fight would likely last forever if it needs to be, that barathruma wendigo will just probably undo everything. That move is dangerous can undo any damage.!
He is not even sure if poisoning or burning will work, that undo is the most powerful move he had ever encountered. Even if he is in type advantage, he still can't do anything whenever he had a chance to hit it.
"We have to..." The voice continued they need to know the depth of his strength plus, they are going to kill his beasts anyway but now they don't have.
They have accomplished what they should accomplish in one go, so they didn't care what's his reason for sorrow anyway. The most important is that he is the most perfect.
"You have to...?" Jomel answered while he couldn't believe what they just said, they are right, they are looking for their target? so why must they care about a puny human just like him? He won, isn't he?

Something clicked on his mind, if he were anybody else, being alive in this trial is lucky enough, he was the one who ventured here and got captured, so death is probably the end for him if he ever asked for more.
He is just not used to death, death of someone or something precious to him, he needed to remove this weakness or he won't be able to accomplish his goal, after all, it was his greed that took him here.
If he just stayed outside, he could've found a Stone-Soul Galaxy by himself so why venture here? It was really at fault, he killed his Soul-Beasts he was lucky to make it alive.
But did he truly regret it? When he met her and when she gave him a power that can see through every being little information, did he truly regret it? Did he?
He did not.
Life is just like that, your can't truly have your life become worried free of everything, the more you get older the more responsibility you will carry, life is like that, what you thought a worry-free person is pressured every day.
He knew someone like that in the past, they are friends the other one was rich, amazing and very talented in everything he does but he doesn't have anybody like girlfriend and only have a little circle of friends and at the end of the day he is not perfect, because of being alone and depression he committed suicide.
When could've just gone to a club where prostitutes are to make him feel less lonely or help an orphanage but instead he is very busy making money that he forgot he had a life.
The other one had a life, he is a womanizer who can make a lot of women fall for his charm but he was being shamed by his family, he is not talented in making money that's why he was rained upon by endless amount of depts, that also led him to depression and committed suicide.
The irony is that they could help each other out, the businessman can ask for advice on how to get girls while the playboy can ask for money.
But they are both busy on their own lives thinking how bad they are.
The only thing that Jomel needs to do now is to accept, and never regret every decision he makes. Even if the pain is still there, he would just manipulate himself that he shouldn't regret it.
So next time he will not let his Soul-Beast lead him, in order not to become that two pitiful guys.

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]

Jodha's Jalal (The Mughal Saga I)
"Mark my words, Champavati, Queen of Amber, your daughter, Princess Jodha will be wed off to the Mughal household!"A fortune teller had warned Queen of Amber, about her daughter's marriage to the Mughal; but being a Rajput Queen she knew how much hatred they held towards the Mughals and so she tried to sweep the thought out of her mind. But who can erase what is already written! Destiny created man and Jodha's destiny was attached to the Mughal Empire. This is the story of Princess Jodha of Amber and her husband, the Emperor of Hindustan, Jalal-uddin Muhammad Akbar.~A LITTLE BACKDROP TO THE HISTORICAL ACCURACY OF THE STORY:*This story is fictional. Emperor Akbar did rule India from 1556 to 1605 but he did never marry a woman named Jodha. His first Rajput wife and mother of his heir was Harkha Bai from Amber. In eighteenth century, a British official messed her name up when he first mentioned her as Jodha and then the name became even more popular because of mainstream media. This story does not intend to hurt any religious sentiments, it uses the name Jodha however because common people today know of Emperor Akbar's chief Rajput wife as Jodha Bai*Highest Ranking#1 in Jodha - August 6, '21#1 in Akbar - October 16, '21#1 in 16th - October 16, '21#1 in Jalal - November 14, '21#1 in Mughal - November 14, '21#2 in India - November 14, '21#1 in Princess - December 17, '21#1 in Historical Fiction - December 22, '21#4 in Century - January 5, '22#1 in Empress - May 17, '22
