Master Of Voracious Beasts Chapter 2

"Is this for real?" Jomel, who skimmed through all the information, found it odd. Because the most important thing about this information is that the world he is in right now is like the game he is playing before he died.
Because in that game, they have water typing, fire typing, ghost typing, and so on. While in this world, the fire typing is flame type, water is liquid type, and the ghost is Specter type, and so on.
The rules are also the same, where a flame is weak is liquid, liquid weakness is a plant, etc.
They are practically the same.
"Is it because I play that game that's why I've been sent to a similar world with that game?" It is possible because that thing in the universe is endless.
The setting is also the same, an advanced technology world with nuclear weapons and kinds of stuff. The power levels are also simple, having a level one, level two... one hundred... two hundred and more.
It is also much safer because the levels are divided by realms and their limits.
`````````````````````````
The world comprises:
Realm one, realm two, realm three, and so on.
If a native is level 1-100 level according to their level scale, then they can only stay within realm one and cannot go up to upper realm.
If that native is level 101-200, then they can stay in realm two and they can also go down to realm one or lower realm. But like realm one, native who had level 101-200 cannot go up, which contains 201- 300 level being or realm three.
The premise is that if that level 101 to 200 gone back down to realm one, their level would be suppressed back to level 100, and if they stay too long, they would get killed by the will energy inside them.
Because the will energy inside their body will get chaotic and will destroy their soul, thoroughly if it's not strong enough.
However, there are some special circumstances where the lower level being can stay in the upper realm endlessly
They needed to be born in there, born in a certain target realm. As a child is level one, and he is in realm two, that child cannot go up and if that child goes down, that child won't be able to go back.
It's not just that if they are in realm two while being level 10 or 1-100. They need a backer, someone who could circulate the will energy inside them every five days.
If that backer left and risen to the upper realm or realm three that contains level 201 - 300 beings, that person he is backing up would explode because of the uncontrolled will energy inside that child's body.
```````````````````````````````
"So this world is a killer too" Jomel now found another difference. It's not his problem right now because a native can live in the lower realm for thousands of years.
His only problem is these monsters. These mighty beings here are different compared to the monsters in the game he used to play, because here in this world these monsters can eat nuclear weapons for breakfast.
They are Kaijus! Monsters with unimaginable height and sizes can shoot out skills and moves that can blast mountains and civilizations into pieces.
To them, earthquakes, tsunamis, and storms are normal occurrences because of these monsters, and living a life without protection to these beings every day is like a nightmare.
Not just that, these monsters can transform into their humanoid form, doubling their power and destructive capabilities. Making sure that no one escapes in frontal combat.
Jomel is so scared when he learned that, he thought it is like his game but now, it's taking big turns.
"But how can these people live, if these monsters exist?" He knew there is more to it, and asking too many questions to no one is useless, so he closed his eyes and try to remember more information in the memories of Francis.
A moment later, Jomel opened his eyes.
He learned that the difference is that these natives have a profession called tamers.
Tamers can shoot laser beams from their mouth, eyes, ears, and even butts. they can also control space, time, and gravity.
Just like soul beast, but very limited.
Unlike trainers from his game, and just like soul-beast in this world. These tamers can transform into a humanoid form that is meant for battle, and it is called the Combat form!
Combat form is a power-up where the tamers are capable to battle against those beasts! Using their own body! They can also use the moves and skills of their contracted beasts.

Although the beasts can combat form too, and the danger is still in there, at least it lessens their danger to these wild beasts.
Plus, if tamers successfully contracted a beast, once they released them in the wild, those beasts won't be able to use their combat form anymore, which is safer for every human-like civilization.
Jomel also learned that people that can become tamers are not only humans. There are elves, orcs, winged men, beast-men, demi-human, devil men, fish-men, androids, etc.
As long as they are not pure soul-beasts, their body needs to have part human, and they also needed to have high intelligence. As long as they have those three, they can be tamers.
The only problem with tamers is that they are fraught with dangers and time is their enemy. Their stay in every realm would be limited, unlike natives who can stay for thousand years and if tamers don't improve their levels fast enough. The world itself would crush their body and their soul.
They also cannot improve their level fast and are restricted by the world itself, unlike natives and soul-beasts.
The only way for tamers to improve their level is to find soul stones that contain passage to lower worlds, where safety is also not guaranteed.
Plus, the world will take half of the levels they accumulated in the lower worlds.
`````````````````````
For example, the tamer is level 50 in this world, then he reached up to level 100 in the lower world. The world will then take level 25 levels, making him level 75 only once they're back to the main world.
````````````````````
That is quite hard for tamers, that's why most tamers often perished and were killed by the world itself.
"Oh f*CK it! Is it because of me? "He had enough of these pieces of information, and he began questioning himself. He used to mock this pocket monster game that its logic is a sh*t.
In there, trainers with their pocket monsters can defeat legendary monsters because of some bullish*t reasoning. Reasoning that trainers' ability to command and their friendship with their pocket monsters is supreme.
Yes, the power of friendship.
Jomel often mocks them that if those legendary monsters target their trainers instead, those pocket monsters would surely scramble and panic.
Now, however, he is here.
A world where all logic is fixed, but death is frequent especially to non-tamers like him because this world is really unlike his game and is far far more dangerous.
In that game, a monster can only be affected by status conditioning attacks one at a time, like if you are burned. You can't be poisoned, freeze and paralyze anymore.
Here in this world, once you are burned, you can still be poisoned, frozen, and paralyzed at the same time.
If there is a God in this world, Jomel would kneel and ask to go back to earth, but that God would say, "There's a saying 'be careful what you wish for because you might just get it all." with a wink.
Jomel calmed down, and question himself more, "What if I became a powerful tamer and could resurrect my little sister Huong if I ever have time to come back to planet earth?"
Suddenly, 'Wait?' does it mean I can... there's a chance?...' something that is slumbering from his body, wakes up.
His eyes transformed into a deep blood red color, a burning desire resurfaced through his mind. He wanted to see his little sister's smile or hear her laugh or even have a glimpse of her once more. He will do anything.
The universe is big, especially in this world. For a single chance even if it was '0.00000000000001' or more or less Jomel will do anything, even commit genocide.
Setting his goal, Jomel calmed himself down. He closed his eyes hoping to know what causes this Francis's death.
He wanted to know if this guy is cursed, or offended by someone or anything, so he could prepare himself for dangers.
Jomel opened his eyes and smiled. This Francis died because of a practice match with a special human. A superhuman.
The government offered them, soldiers, a chance to help become a tamer, by putting their life on the line by having a sparring match with a superhuman. Francis's desire to see his little sister driven him the courage to accept that offer.
Francis didn't offend anybody.
He didn't get cursed or anything else like poisoned.
He's just unlucky, making it perfect for Jomel's situation.

The Saga of Geir Røshjert
"His name will never be sung, son. Skalds and bards like me will never tell his stories to the mass. But only us and us alone will keep telling his story, his actions, his saga. For he is the man who started all of this." This is a story no man in Lumenter will ever hear, no man except for an Arnesen, for his stories are dull and generic to the ears of the masses, except for us, because he is the very reason why our people traveled this far east, why kingdoms in Erisgi fell and rose, why I... even existed in the first place. He is Geir, son of Arne, called 'the Stranger' by the people. But what he truly is, is a fiery red heart that beats inside every Eyklandian, Arnesen, and me.
