My City In The Sky Is Too Great! It Can Upgrade Infinitely! Chapter 27

The territory of a city was now much larger than it was when Gail first arrived.
There were many buildings in each area.
However, sometimes it was not a good thing to have too much territory in a city. On the contrary, it might bring a devastating blow to the city.
Therefore, Gail decided to build some walls at the edge of these areas.
It could be considered as adding a line of defense. The development of resources had also set up more internal defense lines to prevent accidents from happening.
After all, no one knew what kind of monsters would appear in the future.
As the stone in the warehouse was consumed, rows and rows of fences were built, and the speed of construction was very fast.
This fence was the most basic protective measure. As his levels increased, more and more defensive buildings would appear.
The city wall would also be built in the future. Gail's current level was not enough to build the wall.
The resources used to build the fence this time were almost negligible. With the Goddess' Blessing, the consumed stones were replenished in a few minutes.
After doing this, Gail opened the Expansion Interface again.
There were still two areas that had not been expanded yet. They needed Gold Coins to be purchased, so there was relatively no danger.
Only after these two areas were taken by Gail would more areas be refreshed.
Without any hesitation, he chose one area directly.
As the speed of obtaining resources in the city increased, the speed of forging Gold Coins also increased.
He could completely afford the cost of expansion.
The Gold Coins disappeared, and the region appeared!
A region of more than 1,000 meters approached and began to fuse.
At the moment of fusion, the effect of the Goddess' Blessing was also shared.

The new region also began to spawn resources.
Before Gail could smile, lines of huge words appeared in front of him.
[Detected that the initial City Lord has successfully expanded three times. City Selection will begin in three days.]
[City Selection countdown: 2 days, 23 hours, 57 minutes.]
"City Selection?" Gail rubbed his chin and began to think.
This was the first time he had heard of it. After the introduction above, it was a hidden mechanism.
This hidden mechanism was very likely because he expanded too quickly, so it was detected.
With a thought, Gail opened the Chat Interface.
The usually cold Chat Interface was like a pot exploding at this moment. Messages quickly appeared.
"What kind of hidden mechanism is this?"
"Who knows? Who is this ruthless person? It has only been three days and he has expanded three times?"
"I didn't even notice if you didn't mention it. Could he be a big shot?"
"You have a point!"
After scrolling through some information, Gail immediately closed the chat.
He was not worried about anything. After three days, he would know what this so-called City Selection was.
At this moment, what Gail needed to do was naturally to continue developing the city.
With the arrival of the new region, the fence was built again. Only one door was left between each region for people to walk through. Other than the empty space, almost everything else was filled up by the fence.
He opened the Creation Platform and got some basic tools like the furnace.
With the increase of space, the number of tools had to be increased.
This could speed up the speed of resource collection and the development of the city.
After doing all this, the sky darkened.
Sure enough, time passed the fastest when one was busy.

However, Gail did not have time to rest now.
Anna flew over with an excited expression as if she had encountered something happy.
"Master, the fishing net caught a big guy!"
Anna floated in the air, flapping her wings.
Hearing Anna's words, Gail's eyes lit up.
The sleepiness that had swept over his entire body had long disappeared without a trace.
Most importantly, the big Guy Anna mentioned was most likely a mysterious creature at the bottom of the sea!
Even if it was not a mysterious creature, it would not be too bad.
From the expression on Anna's face, one could guess that it was definitely not an ordinary thing.
Soon, Gail and Anna arrived at the location of the fishing net.
He had specially set up this place and placed some small lighting tools around the fishing net.
At this time, Sword Spirit Alice and Anna seemed to have noticed something and came in front of Gail.
These Elves were simply night owls. As long as there was the slightest movement, it would be discovered by them.
Just as Gail approached the fishing net, information about the fishing net appeared.
[Your fishing net has found a mysterious creature and successfully caught it. However, due to the heavy load, it can no longer work normally!]
His attention was still on the second half of the sentence.
As his gaze swept over, Gail saw that some parts of the fishing net had been completely broken.
He directly opened the [Core] and used a certain amount of resources to repair the fishing net.
In less than a few minutes, the fishing net that was already in tatters was once again shining with a dazzling light.
[Your fishing net has won your favor, so it decided to continue working hard!]
Following that, the fishing net was thrown into the river and continued to explore.
After doing all this, Gail placed his attention on the big fellow.
[Albacore Tuna: Marine creature. Awakened a trace of Elemental Power!]
What greeted his eyes was a 4-meter-long Albacore Tuna!
This size could definitely be considered a big guy in the ocean. It could even be considered a king among its kind.
"Such a big guy! If I sell it, it could be sold for at least a triple-digit price!" Gail raised his eyebrows slightly.
If he were to use it himself, it would be beneficial to his body.
He began to think about whether he should keep it and use the function of the Cultivation Garden to cultivate a real Elf or sell it.
After a fierce battle of thoughts, he finally decided to sell it.
However, he did not sell it directly to the Trade Market, but through an auction.
His fingers moved quickly, setting the base price and the buyout price. All he had to do was wait for the buyer to buy it.
The most important thing was that he had a Cultivation Garden, which could nurture such a creature. Naturally, he did not need to keep the Albacore Tuna with him.
Secondly, he had also considered some factors. If he sold the Albacore Tuna, he could also exchange it for assets. Perhaps the City Selection in three days would test the development of the city.
At this moment, a message emerged.

8 191Absolute Power of the Imagination
(Hello this is a story that I'm making and is basically just my fantasy of what it would be like to be a human with god-like powers and the MC is going to have my personality so you are reading some of my desires.) Everyone has at least once thought what it would it would be like to be GOD but only so many people have actually thought about it deeply and this story is going to be through my thoughts as what it would be like to be a god-like being that was once human (because it would be no fun to read or write what it would be like to be GOD since there are no obstacles as the definition of GOD.) (I'm writing this because my new favorite novel "Michael Ammers: My OP leisure life" has been dropped or is on a really long hiatus.

8 171The Systems of the Multiverse - A Guide for the Multiversal Traveler
The Systems of the Multiverse have their issues. I, an observer from outside the multiverse have made it into my mission to tell you, the multiversal traveler about those issues and dangers. This is a relatively low effort NaNoWriMo and Writhathon project. I want to test myself if I can manage 55k words in a month, likely updating every single day until the end. This story is told in the form of an in universe book. Well, I say story... While this definetly won't be great, I still hope it will be enjoyable. I do my best to avoid grammar mistakes and spelling issues, but won't promise anything. Corrections are welcome, this is also an excercise to improve my writing from a technical standpoint. Not from a worldbuilding and character standpoint however, for that you need time. Oh, the keyboards (and computers) that the observer destroys are not real and only exists in story to have an excuse to easily end this story at the end of NaNoWriMo. I also personally like reading LitRPG stories, so this isn't meant to hate them. It might come over that way, but many of those issues are simply fun to think about: what would really happen if the world is so, seen through a lease of negativity :-) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
