My City In The Sky Is Too Great! It Can Upgrade Infinitely! Chapter 21

Gail arrived near the God Of Freedom's Wishing Pond.
Just as Anna said, there were seventy to eighty monsters piled up here.
As for Gail's house, it had long collapsed, leaving only some wood.
These monsters were exactly the same as the ones they had just encountered.
There were monsters covered in mucus, and there were things with extremely long arms.
These were not monsters that could spawn in the city.
The most important point was that there should be monsters spawning around the God Of Freedom's Wishing Pond.
In other words, these monsters had come here through other methods.
The first thing that came to Gail's mind was the black ball floating in the air.
No matter what, he had to take back this area.
This was his area, and no one was allowed to step on it.
At this time, the monsters had also discovered the traces of Gail and the others.
All the monsters swarmed forward.
All kinds of strange moves were used.
Gail's moves were also fired out.
Anna spat out fire and directly burning the monsters in front of her to death.
After these monsters died, they would not drop any resources, which made Gail more convinced of his idea.
These were definitely not monsters that spawned naturally.
Some of the monsters even picked up the stones on the ground as weapons and threw them at Gail.
These monsters' combat strength was not high, but they were a little difficult to deal with.
Many monsters needed to be killed a few times before they could be completely eliminated, and these monsters seemed to be a little afraid of Anna.
After all, Anna was a dragon, and her bloodline was naturally noble. She would suppress all hostile creatures with her bloodline, which also restricted the movement of these monsters.
In a short while, more than half of the monsters in front of them had been eliminated.

Then, something incredible happened.
The black ball in the sky began to move, directly above these monsters.
Then, it emitted rays of black light, directly sprinkling on the bodies of these monsters.
The wounds on the monsters' bodies began to heal at a speed visible to the naked eye, and their bodies also became much larger.
As their bodies grew larger, the monsters' attack power also increased a lot.
There were even some monsters that underwent a second evolution! They directly separated from their original bodies and became one with the monsters around them!
This was the first time Gail had seen such an evolution mode.
The scene became very stressful. The monsters stopped attacking and observed the person in front of them.
Under the effect of the black light, many monsters began to undergo a second transformation.
Gail could clearly feel that the strength of these monsters had improved. To be more precise, they had devoured other monsters to increase their own strength!
These monsters were controlled by the black ball!
The war began again!
The battlefield was constantly emitting intense sounds of fighting.
Almost all of these monsters were close-combat challengers, while Gail's side was long-ranged.
One by one, the monsters were burned to ashes by the flames, and then dispersed with the breeze.
Gale's side had the advantage, and no one was injured. His speed became faster and faster, and golden arrows were shot out.
The arrows accurately hit the bodies of these monsters.
Then, he pulled out his Iron Sword and swung it down hard, directly killing them!
The Iron Sword had the Attribute of the Undead Killer, which was a natural counter to these creatures.
Gail continued to harvest the lives of these monsters, just like a God of death.
Killing these things would not have any negative effect on his heart.
As the last monster fell, the scene returned to silence.

Gail did not relax because of this, because the black light emitted by the black ball did not disappear.
Instead, it became denser and denser.
It was as if something terrifying was condensing.
At this moment, a huge eye appeared on the surface of the black ball, scanning the area below.
Then, it stared at Gail who was on the ground.
Bang!
A ray of black light shot down like a laser.
A crack immediately appeared on the ground.
As the attack landed, cracks began to appear on the surface of the black ball.
More and more cracks appeared, and an extremely evil aura emerged.
A black monster walked out from within.
It had a pair of huge wings!
Gail knew that this was the final boss of the day!
This monster had brought with it a stronger aura than the Skeleton General!
Gail never thought that he would encounter such a monster during the protection period.
However, he did not feel any fear.
He still had a trump card that he did not use!
It was the Magic Sword Scroll that he carried on his belt!
Of course, Gail did not plan to use it right away.
If he could find the monster's weakness, he would not have to waste this precious opportunity.
"Roar!"
The monster let out a monstrous roar.
It flapped its wings forcefully, creating a strong wind!
Alice's hands turned into sharp swords, and a blue light collided with the wind, canceling each other out.
Following that, the temperature of the flames in Anna's mouth rose abruptly, shooting directly at the monster.
Coupled with the effect the Dragon Might, the monster's movements were also restricted to a certain extent!
However, the monster did not choose to escape. Instead, it spat out a black ball of light from its mouth.
Anna's flames and the ball of light collided, and the two types of creatures continued to fight in the sky.
Neither of them was willing to submit to the other.
"You guys go help Anna!"
Gail gave the order with his mind.
Three against one, the monster was obviously at a disadvantage, and there were a few hideous scars on its body.
"Your Lucky Gold Coin has taken effect. It has added a magic attack to the Iron Sword. It summoned the Magic Sword Phantom!"
Seeing this message, Gail gave another order, asking them to lure the monster to his side.
Gail pulled out the Iron Sword and waited for the monsters to arrive.
The Iron Sword was in his hand, and a pale yellow light appeared on it. Gail could feel an extremely strong aura from it!
The monsters were getting closer and closer to Gail, and the Iron Sword in his hand was also tightly held.
At this moment, Gail raised the Iron Sword high and swung it out!
At the same time, a huge five-pointed star array appeared under his feet.
It slowly condensed into a huge phantom that was over 100 meters tall!
Boom!
The phantom slashed down directly at the monster.
The monster did not have any ability to resist. The moment it came into contact with it, it turned into ashes and disappeared.
Gail also fell to the ground.
The sword attack just now had drained all the power in his body. It was really quite uncomfortable!
This was only a phantom, but the power was already so great. If the scroll was released directly, it would definitely destroy the world!
The monster's death meant that this crisis had come to a successful end.
Moreover, this monster also dropped a Treasure Chest!
A Treasure Chest that emitted an evil aura!

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

Slime of Gluttony
_____ ___, a completely and utterly deplorable person. Lazy, apathetic, and unmotivated. He spends his time as a shut-in, wasting his life away doing nothing of importance. This is the life of the man, a life of no importance. At the impulse of desiring food, he left his small and cramped apartment. Regretting his actions immediately, he was left with the prospect of a complete panic attack due to the numerous amount of people outside at that day. However, he pressed on, determined to find some sort of delicious food to consume. Life had other plans for him. He gets hit by a car, and after hearing strange words from an even stranger voice, he dies. However, minutes, hours, maybe even days later, he awakes, his senses of smell, sight, and hearing robbed of him. Author's Note: This is my first story on Royal Road, so it might not be the best. Although, I hope you enjoy! I'll probably write around 2000 words or more per chapter, but on average a bit more. If you're wondering, the cover art is drawn by me, just in case you thought I wasn't giving credit to the creator. This story might often times lean more into the comedy side of things, but stuff can still get pretty serious at times, especially in the later chapters. The story isn't super dark or anything, but character death is of course going to be a thing. Who? Well, you'll find out, eventually. Also, I'll upload chapters on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I hope you enjoy reading this little hobby of mine!

Midori
The sea of stars. The momentaneous lifeforms that flicker far away. Our futures — a sea brimming with light. Each and every shimmer in the starry canvas serves as one’s infinite opportunities in the vast sea of the future. The world, however, is far from the ideals of such a mantra. Complacency is the enemy of progress, yet to the four known nations, each one sees enemies around their borders. An example: A village isolated from the nation of Alkai prevents the lives of many from progressing. It’ll take a society, a group, even a whipped together rag-tag team to jump start the quest for progress. An escape from a motionless home—in order to search for a greater future, Mira approaches her blade in a new light. Any illustrations I use for covers and chapters are illustrations I have drawn myself unless otherwise stated.
