My City In The Sky Is Too Great! It Can Upgrade Infinitely! Chapter 16

Time flew by while Gail was sleeping.
The sun rose in the east, and the sun shone on Gail's face through the window, giving a hint of warmth.
It was like a touch from nature.
Occasionally, there were birds flying outside the window, chattering, as if discussing something happy.
After the night, the whole city returned to a lively atmosphere.
All kinds of knocking sounds were constantly mixed together, like a musical instrument.
Gail sat up and stretched.
Then, he rubbed his hazy eyes and got out of bed.
The sun that day was exceptionally bright, but it was not as hot as before.
Occasionally, there would be a breeze blowing.
As soon as he got out of bed, Gail's mind kept ringing with messages.
One after another, messages appeared in front of him.
They were all about the spoils of war that Alice had obtained from battling the monsters last night.
"What a hardworking little girl."
Gail looked at the position of the Elemental Tree. Alice was right above it.
Her body was emitting light. This was the Elemental Power that belonged to her.
She absorbed the power during the day and fought the monsters at night.
As time went on, it would be difficult not to become stronger.
Gail was also prepared to learn such a spirit. He could not rely on the items around him for everything. Sometimes, his own actions were also an opportunity to train.
However, he would not think about this thing for the time being.
At night, Alice acted as if she had taken stimulants. She wandered around looking for traces of monsters. It was as if Gail had nothing to do with it.
Even if there were any, Alice would kill them with a single slash of her sword. The monsters did not even have a chance to resist.
After a simple breakfast, Gail opened the Chat Interface.

Messages flashed past his eyes one after another.
"I was attacked by monsters last night!"
"Me too. Why do these monsters seem to change at night? They attack people as soon as they see them!"
"Don't say anymore. My house has been destroyed by these monsters, especially that Slime! My house collapsed after it sat down on it. I can only start all over again. Fortunately, the resources are still there!"
Looking at the constantly flashing chat text, Gail began to think.
Even if there was a protection period, some people were still attacked by the monsters. They did not even have the right to resist and could only let the monsters ravage them.
In comparison, Gail seemed to be much luckier.
With Alice around, there was almost no need to worry about his own safety.
As long as Gail was in danger, Alice would be the first to come. This was also due to the mutual connection between the master and the Sword Spirit.
This feeling was very strange, and even he could not explain it.
After patrolling the area, new resources were refreshed. Everything was developing steadily, without any mistakes.
"Automatic Collection Workshop completed!"
After a night of construction, the workshop was finally completed.
The area of the city was not too big, so the Automatic Collection Workshop was enough to collect all the resources. Then, it would be automatically transferred to the warehouse according to the order set by Gail.
This was a function that he liked very much. It also meant that the city had taken a big step forward.
Most of the items had already entered the age of automation.
Human and automation were two different concepts.
The speed of automation would be much faster, and there would not be any problems.
If it was human, it would be time-consuming and energy-consuming. Moreover, the efficiency would be very low.

After all, everyone's body had a limit. It was impossible to work day and night like a machine until all the resources were emptied.
At the same time, a ray of light enveloped Gail's entire body.
A magical power traveled through his body, constantly traveling through his skin and nourishing his body.
Just like a little elf.
Gail knew that he had leveled up!
He had successfully advanced to Level 4!
His body's strength had also been upgraded once again.
Gail knew that this was determined by Alice's overnight killing of enemies and the development of the resources in the city.
It was also known as the Experience Points.
As long as the Experience Points were enough, one could advance to the next stage.
The city was filled with peace.
The crops planted in the fields were also affected by Gale's Golden Finger, accelerating their growth rate.
Tender, green seedlings broke out of the ground one after another, glowing with vitality under the illumination of the elemental tree.
This upgrade had also brought Gail four Skill Points!
However, he was not in a hurry to use up his Skill Points because he had heard even more surprising news!
[The fishing net had fished through the night. Obtained: White Crystal!]
[White crystal: Can be sold in the market. Selling price: 20-25 gold coins!]
As expected of a fishing net that had awakened its Attributes!
In just a short night, it had brought him such a huge surprise!
Gail directly rushed down to the beach and fished out the fishing net.
Other than some fish, there was also some seaweed.
Within the seaweed, there was a white light that was faintly flickering.
He threw away all the seaweed, allowing it to reveal its original appearance.
It was a completely white stone. It was extremely pure and cold when held in his hand.
"The fishing net has received your praise. Treasure Hunting Speed +10%!"
Gail looked at the fishing net in his hand in surprise. There was such an operation?
"You're great!"
Gail said to the fishing net.
"The fishing net has received your praise. Treasure Hunting Speed +10%!"
As expected!
Gail seemed to have discovered a new world and kept praising the fishing net.
However, there were no more messages that popped up.
After learning the result, he did not feel any disappointment. It was just a test in itself.
It seemed that there was a certain limit to this kind of thing.
Thinking about it, it made sense. If there was no limit, then it would be a real bug!
Gale raised his head and looked at the pale yellow protective circle that covered his territory.
This was the so-called protection period.
The radiance of the protection period was getting smaller and smaller.
As the number of days increased, the protection intensity would also decrease.
This also meant that when the protection period weakened to a certain extent, the level of the monsters might also increase!
Even the probability of spawning group monsters at night would also increase by a lot.
Monsters like spiders were often crowded together in large groups.
If they encountered such a situation, without a certain strength, they would definitely be attacked. They might even die.
The number of monsters spawning these two days was also increasing.
Just like last night.
When Gail first came here, he only saw a skeleton monster after searching for a long time.
This also proved that the protection period would weaken with the passage of time.
When the last day arrived, many City Lords would receive a devastating blow!
It was impossible for them to play around anymore.
These monsters would become smarter and smarter!

The fallen (?) hero and Aži Dahāka's soul fragment
I have to apologize.A certain real life problem that I thought I got rid of has caught up to me once again.I tried to continue writing, but my mind was not in the right track to do so and thus, as some people had said, the quality of the latest 2 chapters had turned from the usual "bad" to "worst". So, I reluctantly have to say that I will be away until I can sort things out.I can't say when, but I do intend to return to writing. I might lurk around to read other people's works though. I will be turning my attention to stories with "tragedy" and "despair". The five of us were summoned to this world from our clubroom two years ago to be made as heroes.Shouldn't forceful summoning like that be counted as kidnapping?Well, we chose to go with the heroes route. After harsh training and battles, not to mention all the killings, we finally defeated the demon lord. However, all those achievements literally became nothing, it wasn't just forgotten, it was erased to be totally nothing as even the written records were somehow being disposed of. I was too naive. Who would have thought that the side we have been fighting alongside with, the side we were fighting for, was the one to bring our demise? After I had to see everyone else turn into nothingness, somehow... I alone survived. Note: I will attempt to fix the grammar problem with the help of lieutenant colonel fletterman. This may delay the release of future chapter. Chapter 1 is fixed. Chapter 2 is fixed.
