My City In The Sky Is Too Great! It Can Upgrade Infinitely! Chapter 12

Seeing this information, Gail went directly to the Forging Table.
He could not wait to know the purpose of this Lucky Gold Coin. Just hearing its name made him feel lucky.
Opening the Forging Table, he saw a coin emitting a golden light.
Different from the usual Gold Coins, this Lucky Gold Coin had an angel-like object carved on its surface. It looked a bit like the God Of Freedom's Wishing Pond. It did not look like a usual ice-cold Gold Coin, instead, it had a hint of warmth.
[Lucky Gold Coin: A special item that will bring you good luck!]
The introduction was very short, but Gail caught an extremely important piece of information!
It would bring good luck!
This sentence brought a huge amount of information.
Every City Lord actually had luck on them. Gail had heard it mentioned more than once in the class group.
Gail estimated that everyone in this class had received this kind of training.
This kind of special item that added luck could be said to be very precious!
It was a unique treasure!
Gail took out the Lucky Gold Coin from the Forging Table and placed it in his palm.
He immediately felt a mysterious power flowing through his body. It was very wonderful.
He knew that this was luck!
Luck was an illusory existence. No one had just confirmed whether this thing existed.
Even he had only heard from the people in the class that this Lucky Gold Coin might be able to prove whether luck existed!
Luck could change a person's future. It was very important!
Gail carefully kept the Lucky Gold Coin, afraid that it would be damaged.
How could the Gold Coins be damaged? It was all because of his thoughts.
At this moment, the information appeared in front of Gail again.
"The Trade Market has been built!"

Seeing the information, Gail looked over.
A brand new building appeared beside the warehouse.
On the roof of this building hung a flag. On the flag were Gold Coins and some things that he did not recognize. It was probably a trade item.
From a distance, it looked like some kind of chamber of commerce. It was quite interesting.
The completion of the Trade Market also meant that another option had been added to the interface.
When he opened the interface, a new button appeared: [Trade Market]
Gail touched it with his finger, and the interface in front of him changed.
The interface of the Trade Market was much simpler than other interfaces.
Moreover, there were many large categories and small categories.
What was shown above were all things that could be traded.
The completion of the Trade Market could also be considered as an extremely important step on the road to the development of the city.
If one wanted to develop a city, one could not build a car behind closed doors!
One needed to communicate with outsiders, absorb the strengths of others, and discard one's own weaknesses to be at the forefront of such a world.
Gail knew this very well, which was why the construction of the Trade Market was on the way.
His thoughts returned to the interface of the Trade Market once again.
All kinds of things filled Gail's eyes.
[Life Sapling: It can produce fruits that can increase life span. The cultivation difficulty is extremely high!]
[Price: 100,000,000]
Gail looked through the categories of plants one by one.
In the end, he came to a conclusion.
Most of the items here were ridiculously expensive. For example, the items in the plants' category were not only expensive, but they were also extremely difficult to cultivate.
Some people might not be able to cultivate them even if they died.

Moreover, based on the current development, no one could afford such a high price.
However, this did not mean that the other City Lords would give up on this opportunity.
For example, the [Life Sapling] would give birth to a fruit that could increase one's lifespan!
No one would be able to resist the temptation of lifespan. If there were, it would only be a matter of money.
The most ambitious goal in the hearts of every City Lord was to achieve longevity and stand at the top of the world!
These items with special effects would almost always be very expensive.
The price of the Elemental Tree that Gail obtained must be very expensive. It might even be priceless!
In the end, he directly lowered the price of this interface, only showing the items with low prices.
Most of these things were the most basic things like food and crops.
Gail did not just buy these things to plant. He also had an Elemental Tree, which was comparable to a divine item.
As long as it was related to Attributes, almost all of them would receive benefits from the Elemental Tree.
Gail had seen this with his own eyes.
Thinking about it, he had to do it. Gail took out the shovel from his backpack and found a fertile soil near the Elemental Tree.
He then started to work with the soil.
The first step was to loosen the soil and dig small pits to spread the seeds.
Most importantly, he had to dig a long canal to prevent the crops from drowning in the rain.
Gail was very talented in farming.
In less than a moment, this area had been completely transformed.
In the future, this area would also be a crop area, specially used to grow some food or something.
These crops around the Elemental Tree would definitely be useful.
Gail took out the seeds and placed them in the pre-arranged small pit. Then, he watered them with water.
Wiping the sweat off his head, he stood on a rock and looked at everything.
The development of the city was getting faster and faster, and everything was developing in a good direction.
Gale would seize all the opportunities and keep moving forward!
Everything he did now would be fully prepared after the protection period ended!
After resting for a while, Gail left the rock.
He came to the mine.
The Iron Pickaxe was still working methodically.
He put all the resources into his backpack and placed them on the warehouse.
There were more and more resources piled up in the warehouse.
It would definitely be expanded again soon.
Gail had enough Gold Coins on him, so he planned to try his luck at the God Of Freedom's Wishing Pond.
Just as he was about to leave, a message appeared again.
[As you haven't taken care of the God Of Freedom's Wishing Pond for a long time, the wishing pond is quite disappointed. I have decided to activate the ten-draw mode for you!]
Seeing this message, Gail smiled.
It was simply perfect timing!
He knew that the God Of Freedom's Wishing Pond had been affected by his Golden Finger. Just like the other items, it had all changed.
He was also thinking in his heart. It seemed that there was no limit to the range of this Golden Finger!
This would also be a decisive factor in the future development of the city.
After regaining his thoughts, Gail walked toward the God Of Freedom's Wishing Pond calmly.
The expression on his face became more and more brilliant. It was as if he had already thought of how he would win the lottery!

Apex Predator
Earth is a fairly small place, but it's all Bath has. It's the only home he's ever known for all of his 500-or-so-million years of life. One day, Bath realized his treasured Earth was being drawn into the next mass extinction ahead of schedule. So, fascinated by the humans and their quick rise to power (after all, setting off a mass extinction is a pretty sizable achievement), what's a nearly all-powerful, somewhat bored, morally ambiguous, savagely violent, shapeshifting alien entity to do other than assume the form of a human and do some front-line investigating? Little did Bath know he would soon stumble upon a mysterious human organization with a gate leading to planets eons away. And that's just the beginning... A story with aliens, intergalactic space travel, mind powers, and an abundance of adventure! Author's note: ON HIATUS! Hello and thank you for reading! Constructive criticism and grammar-policing are both appreciated. Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are complete at 1271 pages! Part 7 is in progress! If you've ever read any other web serials, you might've noticed that authors get better with time (that is, their art or writing improves). Wutosama of Metaworld Chronicles noted that the first 20 chaps are always a mess. This is also the case with Apex Predator. The first two parts (ranging just under 30 chapters, or 161 pages) are absolutely subpar. While I have edited them as of 7-10-18, they require a rewrite, which is currently in the works but not complete. For a sample that gives insight into what the latter ~80% of the story's writing style is like, check out chapter 56. Vote for Apex Predator on Top Web Fiction! The Apex Predator Discord is here. Cover: original work done by me, the author, caerulex.

Bleached Nightmare
500 years into the future, technological progress has stagnated. Wracked by a series of problems like climate change, lack of resources and the innate human lust for war, the geopolitical landscape of planet Earth is radically different, and quality of life is far from what it was in the past. While technical development and research into realistically feasible space travel has made leaps and bounds, this has come at the cost of a world that is reeling from centuries of technical stagnation in other aspects of life. The establishment of a mining colony on Mars has led to the discovery of a new, rare material called sarinium; though it is extremely tensile and durable, it has a very low melting point. The discovery of this metal leads to large mechanical infantry- dubbed 'Spirit Striders', they are six to ten meters tall and as famed for the pride they provide a nation as they are a lethally mobile heavy weapons platform. The story follows the character of Marilin, who must both figure the enigma that is her past, and what this means for her allegiances in the future. Despite her genetically physical frailty, she seeks to gain power through a vessel that will channel her wish to change the world- the Spirit Strider. --- I hope you all enjoy my work. This is a story that I began writing over four years ago in my beginning years of high school, and have cast aside unfinished in the past two years. Though it is not up to my current standards, I hope you all may find some enjoyment in it. Happy reading.
