After Transmigrating As A Demon, I've Been Adopted By Angels! Chapter 179

The Dragon Queen Sarafini stood up and moved her somewhat stiff body. She slowly said, "The owner of that demonic aura has constructed a teleportation channel right above this bed."
Sarafini spread out her palm and pointed to a spot.
After a stream of red dragon power passed by, a pitch-black crack appeared there.
That crack was very small. If it was not for Sarafini deliberately using her dragon power to cover that crack, it would not have been visible at all!
The dragon power that Sarafini used to cover the spatial crack was like quicksand, slowly flowing into that tiny crack.
In a short while, that tiny crack completely devoured the dragon power that Sarafini used.
Then, that crack once again concealed itself.
When Michael saw all of this, he said angrily, "The demons are really too much. Not only did they cast a voodoo spell on Fiona, but they also sent people to cause trouble many times. They didn't even let poor Davis off!"
Gabriel was so angry that he gripped the sword in his hand tightly. He echoed, "Yes, this is a declaration of war against Paradise Island!"
Sariel looked at Raphael.
"Raphael, what do you think?"
Raphael looked at Sariel and then at the calm Dragon Queen. Her ears were a little red.
He understood that he had really wronged the Dragon Queen.
Raphael first bowed to the Dragon Girl and apologized, then said to Sariel, "I think that this is a plot of the demons. They deliberately kidnapped Davis and Lilia to sow discord between Paradise Island and the Dragon Race. I think that there must be an ambush of the demon race at the other end of the teleportation channel, so there might be great danger."
Sariel said, "That's right. The end of that micro-crack is the ancient battlefield. That place is indeed full of dangers."

"What? Isn't that the place we are preparing to train our juniors?"Sarafini, who had always been very calm, cried out in surprise.
Sariel realized that he had lost his composure and immediately added, "That place is extremely far from heaven. How did the demons use such a small teleportation channel to teleport two living people there?"
When Sariel said this, the others also came forward, wanting to hear Sariel's explanation.
With a complicated expression, Sariel glanced in the direction of the spatial crack and then said seriously, "That should be a teleportation circle set up by the demons in advance. Under certain conditions, the portal will expand and instantly teleport the target to the designated location."
Raphael could not help but ask, "But why did Princess Lilia disappear together with them?
"She should have been affected and dragged into the teleportation passage. It was also because of this that the teleportation passage collapsed after completing the mission and did not disappear in time, leaving behind such a tiny crack."
At this point, Sarafini suddenly asked, "Who was taking care of Davis before he disappeared?"
In the end, three envoys instantly stepped forward.
Angelina, Fiona, and Alice.
Sarafini's face darkened.
For some reason, Sarafini felt very uncomfortable.
Why was there so many people taking care of Davis?
"Was there anything unusual about Davis before?"
Fiona immediately replied, "Yes. Previously, Davis was often in a coma for a long time. The archangels couldn't find anything wrong with him."
"Has he been in a coma?"
Angelina added, "Not always. He would wake up occasionally. But not long after Davis woke up, he would fall into a deep sleep again."
Sarafini nodded and said, "Yes.
"As expected. After being marked by this special teleportation channel, the power in the body of the marked person would be constantly devoured. At first, his realm will increase slowly, and then he'll fall into a long coma."

As soon as Sarafini said that, everyone in the room suddenly understood.
Angelina felt her legs go soft.
If it was not for Fiona supporting Angelina in time, Angelina would have fallen to the ground.
Angelina felt very guilty.
It turned out that poor Davis had long been targeted by the demons, and she actually did not notice it at all.
Sariel said in a low voice, "I didn't expect that the demons could hide in Paradise Island for so many years.
"This is a shocking conspiracy! It must be that the demon spies knew that Paradise Island was about to send people to the ancient battlefield for training, so they deliberately sent Davis and Lilia there."
Sariel's expression was a little worried. "Davis and Lilia have never been to the ancient battlefield. With their strength, I estimate that wherever they are, they would be in a very difficult situation."
Sarafini, however, was not worried at all.
She firmly believed that with the protection of the ancient dragon, Lilia would not be in any danger.
She only calmly said, "It doesn't matter. The unknown environment is the best way to train their abilities.
"This action of the demon race is a challenge to the dignity of the Dragon Race and Paradise Island.
"I suggest that the spatial rift in this room be removed as soon as possible to prevent the demon from following this spatial rift to come to Paradise Island again.
"Next, the Dragon Race and Paradise Island will establish a larger teleportation channel on Paradise Island to directly send those angels and juniors of the Dragon Race who are ready to receive training over."
The archangels all nodded in agreement.
Sariel said, "Why don't we set the goal of the training plan as rescuing Davis and the Dragon Princess?"
"Raphael, you'll go with them. You'll be responsible for healing the injured angels and dragons. Sarafini, what about you?"
"I'll go personally. If the spatial channel collapses, only I have the ability to bring them back."
Angelina asked anxiously, "Lord Archangel, can you allow me to go?"
Gabriel refused flatly. "No, you're not a combatant. Your duty is to manage the library of Paradise Island, and your mission is more important. You have to believe us."
"Paradise Island will never give up on any angel!"
Angelina suddenly thought of the unknown book that Davis had read and understood Gabriel's meaning.
"Master Angel, it's my fault..."
She retreated in shame.
Fiona looked at Michael, with pleading eyes.
Alice looked at Gabriel.
In the end, Michael and Gabriel ignored them.
Sariel noticed Fiona and Alice's actions and said with a smile, "Fiona, Alice, as the two most talented fighters on Paradise Island, you will naturally participate in this rescue operation."
Sariel did not give Michael and Gabriel a chance to speak, and said in advance, "Michael, Gabriel, no matter how talented an angel is, they need to be tested in actual combat. Flowers that grow indoors will suffer greater damage when they encounter fierce storms."
Michael and Gabriel fell silent on the spot.

Contact Through Voided Lenses
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Edit: Fixed some inaccuracies in the synopsis. The void is a vast unexplored ocean filled with various wonders and dangers all waiting to be explored by those brave enough to travel and record. Many souls do find themselves brave enough to face the vast distances, the various risks to personal safety and do the hundreds of task required on a craft. However, at times the void itself can be boring with absolutely nothing to do but as time pass and more and better technology is reached, things got better. The various trips got faster, communications became faster than light and you can be home to see your loved ones after only months now. Through the various planets whether rocky or gaseous, the various stars whether small or giant, the various systems both eerily similar or completely alien. As part of an expeditionary scientific exploratory survey craft, one could see that the void offers no reprieve from all the discoveries and wonders. At times, it can feel empty and silent where no soul can hear you scream and at others it can be overwhelming with sudden phenomenon that can overwhelm the brightest of minds. The void itself is a truly fascinating ocean where one must chart the various islands or drown in its deadly tidal waves. But the question still remained no matter how you try to hide it in of itself… is there truly other intelligent life out there? Are we alone in this ocean? Those very questions still haunt the minds of those on the crafts themselves as they brace for every jump ready for the unknown and the known. Many would try to explain that yes there is other intelligent life out there whilst other still say no after 2 centuries of continuous flight out of the home system. Still, those are questions that bury deep in the minds of the crew and those at home as the voidcraft jumps to a system with a single yellow star orbited by 8 other planets with one crowning blue jewel being the 3rd closest with its 5 oceans and 7 continents, a planet called Dirt which is inhabited by a primitive species called Humanity. Hello, author here and this is my newest dive into writing particularly for the Writathon currently in progress being my first one. I hope you give me story a try but in case you still want more information on what you’re getting into, below are some pointers about the story itself. First Contact: CTVL is a story about a first contact scenario between an advanced alien civilization and a slightly more advanced modern day humanity on their planet called Dirt. Characters: The story will take place mainly on the perspective of the alien visitors themselves though there will be human POV characters who will show how the rest of humanity react through media and forums. Action: It won’t be an actual alien invasion but you have to see for yourself how well first contact went. Sci-Fi: I will be very forward here, I WILL bend the rules of physics in order to add in parts of the plot and there WILL be parts that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Theme: It will be a brooding story talking about the futility of pe… Just kidding, it’s mostly wholesome stuff to be honest here. Alien: The aliens themselves will… actually why should I tell you, you have to go and read it to find out what the aliens are though I will draw a few things here and there to aid in the process. Extra tidbit: If you are a grammar nazi or someone who really wants a realistic scifi story... this story is probably not for you at all. Anyways, that’s pretty much all I can say before I spoil something major of the plot itself, the story is slice of life so make sure that type of story is what you like because I am terrible with anything else as I found out, anyways, have a good time everyone and good luck to the other Writathon participants.
