"Are you willing to keep acting as your profession forever?"

Lizzy stared at the person who just asked her this question.Mr Oliver Queen.He has the same dirty blonde hair and turquoise color eyes.Probably from him his son Alexander Queen has derived that gene.He is quite eye catching according to his age.He still had a fit body fitness in spite of hitting his late fifties.

She becomes very much annoyed when she hears this kind of question.People often cant digest the fact that instead of taking care of her dad's business,she was interested in her passion.Even her father James always tries to convince her to leave the acting career and join his business.

But Lizzy didn't say anything.She just tried to smile.

"Maybe.I think it's not that terrible that you are thinking about it now." She said.

Oliver Queen stared at his son Alexander Queen,who was sitting beside him.

"But I think James wants you to join him.You are his only child.So no wonder you have to look after his business."

Lizzy felt slightly uncomfortable.It's totally her and her father's personal matter.It's true Oliver Queen is his dad's good friend but that doesn't mean he should throw his opinion like this.

"Actually…."

Alexander Queen blurted out,

"Dad...Why are you making her stressed.She just completed her study.There is still much time."

Lizzy just smiled.She came to an auction.Actually she came instead of James representing him as he couldn't come.He was out of country.So Lizzy had to come her taking his place.But here she was bored to death due to Oliver Queen.She was now searching the opportunity to escape from there.Suddenly her eyes got fixed on someone.

Damien Kyle!!

But she slightly narrowed her eyes when she saw there was a woman with him.And surprisingly that sight didn't make her happy at all.And she felt very annoyed when she noticed that the woman with him was very beautiful and actually very beautiful is less for her.If she participates in any beauty contest and no wonder she will achieve the winner crown.And not only that she was hugging him like koala.

"So clingy!"Lizzy gritted her teeth.

" Did you say something?"Alexander Queen asked her.

"No..Alex.." She said smiling.She exhaled a long breath.Why was she being so annoyed?What if Damien Kyle took that clingy woman with her.It's none of her business.They were not dating.So he could go out with any woman he wanted.She shouldn't be bothered at all.Its Lizzy herself,who rejected him.But still,Damien Kyle was a classy person.He shouldn't hang out with this kind of clingy woman in public.

"Are you thinking something?"

Lizzy felt a light tap on her shoulder.Alexander Queen was calling her.He seemed to be slightly disheartened as Lizzy was absent minded and not giving him much attention.

"Not really.I am just bored." Lizzy saw Oliver Queen was no longer there with them.He was busy talking with another businessman.She didn't even notice he was gone as she was busy in checking Damien Kyle.

"Oh...That's not good.What can I do for you princess so that you won't be bored?" Alexander Queen asked with a beautiful charming smile over his face.

"It's okay.You don't need to do anything.I am just not used to this kind of auction or party." She said, sighing a long breath.

"You will be,princess.Very soon you will be used to this kind of thing." He said flipping his dirty blonde hair.

Lizzy stared at him.The way he confidently said that very soon she will be used to it,she didn't really like it.She again averted her gaze from him.

"It seems like Damien Kyle got a new woman.And I must say,he is very good at picking his woman.Every time he managed to find a different kind of beauty." Alexander Queen said pointing toward Damien Kyle.

Lizzy didn't say anything.It was true.The woman had a very rare type of beauty.She had a very pale white complexion,perfectly flawless skin.And the most unique thing about her was she had a full head of red hair and pair of beautiful elongated blue eyes,that made her absolutely different from all the people of here and also very eye catching.

"She can be his friend.Its not necessary that she can only be his woman." Lizzy said finally after sometimes being silent.

Alexander Queen seemed slightly surprised.He stared at Lizzy.

"May be.But from outside,it doesn't seem like they are just friends." He said.

"Whatever." She said.It's totally not her business.what if they were friends or not.She really had nothing to do with it.

The auction bidding started.Lizzy saw Damien Kyle was just a few gauze away from them.They sat a few tables away.He didn't seem to notice her and was very busy talking with that woman.

There were few things for sale today.A wrist watch of a famous businessman,a golf stick and a gold hairpin.Lizzy's eyes got fixed on the hairpin.It was quite beautiful.

First the bidding started for the watch and then for the golf stick.Lizzy was just watching.She didn't really was interested.The watch was sold to Alexander Queen and the golf stick was to Damin Kyle.Now it was time for the hairpin.

The owner of the hairpin was a famous actress.She was in her early fifties.just before starting of the bidding,the lady said,

"This hairpin is very special to me.When I first came in the acting industry,I didn't have anything.No money,no background but only a few dreams and hopes.My mom had this hairpin.She sold this and gave the money to me so that I can afford some good clothes and a good photographer.After this I never looked back.And the result is in front of everyone today.When I signed my first movie and got my payment just that day I again bought this hairpin for my mom.Today mom is no more here.But she is still in my heart.She left this hairpain to me.I thought I will keep it to myself for the rest of my life.But I changed my mind.I want to sell this and spend this money on an orphanage.If with this contribution,a single person can fulfill his or her dream then I will consider myself as successful."

Everybody clapped their hand.Lizzy could feel her emotion.The hairpin was just not only beautiful,it had such a value that can't be bought with money.

"The bidding starts with one million." The bidder announced.

"Two million." Lizzy apprised.She really liked the hairpin that now she wanted to buy that.Especially after that lady's emotional speech.

"Four million." Alexander Queen said from her side.He stared at Lizzy to check if she was angry that he was bidding.But Lizzy gave him a warm smile that reassured him that she was not angry.

"Five million." Damien Kyle declared in a loud voice.

Lizzy's eyes fixed on him.Both of them had an eye contact.She saw that red hair lady sitting beside her was laughing and saying something to him.Damien Kyle also smiled and said something back to her.Lizzy averted her gaze.

"Six million." Lizzy declared.

"Eight million." Damien Kyle declared.

Lizzy tucked a lock of loose hair behind her ears.She was feeling irritated.She really didn't like the fact that Damien Kyle and she were both bidding for the same hairpin.

"Ten million." Alexander Queen declared.

"Princess I will buy this hairpin for you.I guess you like it." He mumbled in her ears.

"Alex...You don't need to do that.Please…"Lizzy said.

" Please,don't say no.Its just a gift.Whats the problem…"

"I can buy it on my own.You dont need to give me a gift and that also in an auction like this." Lizzy said with annoyance.

"Okay,First let me buy it.Then we will decide." He said.

"Ten million..A very good price…Is there anyone who wants to increase the value?" The bidder announced.

"Fifteen million.." Damien Kyle said, staring at Lizzy.

Lizzy let out a sigh.She was now feeling like leaving this auction.

"Twenty million." Alexander Queen declared..

"Wow...Twenty million…" The bidder said with a wide smile.

"Forty million." Damien Kyle declared.

Everyone on the auction fixed their eyes on Damien Kyle.Forty million for just a simple hair pin...
