"Barking dogs seldom bites. Don't worry Rose.If he ever harasses you again, I will break his leg.'' Mark tried to comfort her through his words.

Rose just smiled sadly.She stayed there for sometimes and went back to her apartment after she was done with the party.Her life was going as usual.

After two days,Rose got a call from an unknown number which added a new dimension to her usual life.

She received the call...

"Hello."

"Hello. Is this Rose Wesley speaking?" It was said from the otherside.

"Yeah, Rose speaking!"

"I called you for a job appointment. Our company's CEO needs a personal secretary. If you are interested, you can come tomorrow for an Interview."

"Yes but may I know how you get my information?" Rose was surprised.

"We check the record of scholarships from your university every year.If we find anyone capable, we offer them a job. We think that you are capable."

"Okay.I am interested.I will arrive there on time" Rose said.

"Okay I am sending you the location and details of the comapny.You should be present at 10 am."

"Okay, see you at 10." Rose said.

She hung up the phone and felt so happy as coincidentally at the same time she was badly in need of a job.She was so excited that she almost forgot to check the details of the company where she decided to go for an interview.

Next day she woke up very early in the morning.Next she made her breakfast and took a shower.

She went toward her cupboard to choose a suitable outfit for the interview.After spending some time there,she finally chose a white shirt and a black pencil skirt.

Rose stared at her reflection on the mirror.She became satisfied as her look came professional.She chose a matching black pencil heel with her outfit.

After having her breakfast,she left for the interview.

She reached the address that was sent to her.

The name of the company is Kyle corporation limited.She went to the counter.

A lady wearing a white shirt and navy blue skirt was sitting there.

"Excuse me, miss! I am Rose Wesley.I came here for an interview!" Rose said.

"Okay.I am informing the boss.Please go to the Third floor, 31 number room.Boss is probably waiting for you." The woman said without any expression on her face.

Rose nodded and started heading there.After finding the desired floor and cabin,she knocked on the door.

"Come in." A hoarse voice echoed outside from the cabin.

She got stuck at her place for the whole one minute.The voice seemed very familiar but she couldn't figure out who it was. She entered the cabin with confusion.

A man seemed to be so tall was sitting on the king sized rolling chair.His backside was facing Rose.

"Good morning, Sir. I am Rose Wesley.I came here for an interview." Rose addressed herself.

"So, miss Wesley! What do you think,what capabilities do you have to be my secretary?"The man asked her directly without any introduction. His voice is low but extremely seductive.

Rose gulped, "Sir, I recently graduated in business and management.I got a scholarship as I got the highest number every year.I think I have enough knowledge about business and can efficiently handle your work." She was nervous but managed to say those lines with such solemn confidence.

"So Miss Wesley thinks that she can handle my business efficiently!!" The man said. This time his voice was cold and still was facing his back toward Rose.And also Rose felt there was a hint of sarcasm in his voice though she didn't get it whether she was right or it was her imagination.

"Yes, sir. Obviously I can."

"Then Miss Wesley, as you are very efficient so you have to handle my every business... I mean every business..." The man stood up from the chair and turned his face toward Rose.

The moment she saw the face of him,she felt the ground beneath her legs was about to fall apart.She was nearly on the verge of getting a heart attack.He was the man she offended just two days ago.What the hell! Really God is playing a dirty prank with her. Why did her would be boss have to be him?

"Ummmm.....Sir...Actually... " Rose started stammering.She felt cold sweats ran down her spine.

"So what were you saying Miss Wesley?" the man said in a mocking tone.Rose understood the purpose of calling her here.

Rose said nothing lowering her head.Tears welled up in her eyes and was threatening her to flow.She was an orphan and no back up.She really needed the job but according to the situation it was impossible to get a job here.

As she intended to make a dash for the door,he grabbed her wrist.

"I think sometimes it's better to let go of your ego.I know very well that how badly you need a job." He said in a hoarse voice.

Other times there was a possibility that Rose would find out his voice was seductive but this time it was not less than a death song!!

"What do you mean? Did You check my background?" Rose was surprised and angry as well hearing him.

"I don't think it's that important for you to know!You can join from tomorrow for your kind information.'' The man's lip widened in a threatening smirk.

"Why are you offering me this job?You want revenge that I offended you?" Rose narrowed her eyes.

"Miss Wesley, you should come from tomorrow in time." He smiled.But instead of lightening the situation,the smile was building up such an environment that was even scarier to Rose.

"I don't want your job. Leave my hand." Rose yelled at him.

"Miss Wesley. It's not a request ,it's an order.There is no room of your choice." He said coldly.

" If I don't come, then?''Rose said, fixing her eyes on his face.

"I don't think you would dare to do it! Come from tomorrow otherwise I will make sure you won't get a job at any other companies as well." He let her hand go saying these.

Rose almost ran away from there.

"Just a devil!!! He just had a handsome face except that he had no quality of behaving like a human. Obviously a devil disguised in a human body." Rose cursed him.

The devil is Kelvin Kyle.The CEO of Kyle corporation.He is the number one business tycoon in the country.His company is number one ranked.High end billionaire guy is well known as his cold personality and ruthlessness.

He never missed an opportunity to hunt his prey.No one can stand with his evil personality.If someone dared to offend him then he is finished.

"This little girl is very interesting! She has the guts of offending me." Kelvin curled his lips holding a photo of Rose in his hand.

In the photo she is wearing a cream colour gown spreading her hair on the shoulder.Her clear brown eyes were like a sea of emotion.Her lips are full and lustrous as it was inviting men to cause a crime.

At the same time she was looking very innocent but something other than innocence is hiding in her eyes. Is it sorrow or passion or confidence or something else?
