Nova was shocked to death when she heard those maids had started confessing! She never would have thought that someone had leaked her and the person went to harass her this bad!

He asked in a cool and calm voice.

"Mas...Master A.R… We..I. I was blinded.. Yes I… I was blinded by the money!"

Aiden looked at the head of the maids and glared at her!

The head of maids quickly understood what he was pointing at so she came out and slapped the girl tight in her face and said, "Not even the royal palace offered such heavy salary to the maids and servants as much as Master A.R does and yet you say that you were blinded by some money!"

She slapped all three of them one by one and said, "What are the things you were lacking? We had given the best to our employees and yet..."

She was still scolding them when Aiden roared almost in frustration..

"Leave! I will see on my own what I need to do!" He said and called the guards standing out there!

They came in as soon as they were called!

"Bring them to our private cell! We will take care of it later!"

He said coldly with no trace of warmth or mercy in them!

All his warmth was only and only for Lana and no one else!

"NO!! Master Aiden! Master Aiden we were wrong! We did not know that she meant so much to you!"

Nova's mind blew up when she heard this and Aiden said, "Whether she meant so much to me or not! You have tried to ruin a girl's life! How dare you!"

"So what if she meant for him or not! You are a woman yourself! How can you even let this happen? What if you were the one in her place!"

Nova said as soon as Aiden was done with her words! She was really very angry.

"Enough Nova! There is no what ifs in this life! She has done wrong to her and she must suffer what she is bound to!"

He said and waved at the guards and said, " Lock all three of them in the darkest place of the cell and don't forget to leave some insects and mice to bite them! Don't even give them a drop of water, let alone food!"

Even though Nova was a princess and a troublemaker to the Crown Prince, she was really very gentle and good by heart! She had never seen such kind of punishment.

She had always kept herself staying away from the country matters and those punishments! She really was not interested in all these things!

All she was interested in meeting new people and curing them with all her heart!

The guards took them away and she did not dare say any single word! Somewhere in heart she was feeling bad for them but seeing what had happened to Lana and in what condition she was in… She really stopped caring about all these things!

Aiden was not in the mood to talk to anyone anymore so he went back to his room to take a look at Lana!

She had woken up and was now sitting on the bed shivering in fear that someone would come and touch her from here and there!

She had totally forgotten the mess she had created and the way she looked like that scared the shit of Leo!

On the other hand, Leo was caught and taken to the private cell of Aiden by Felix!

Leo was holding on to his hands tightly as if he had been so much in pain! He kept showing it to them and saying that it was Lana who had burned him like this and he had done nothing at all!

Felix and all his subordinates went to look at his hands one by one but there was nothing! Not even a scratch, let alone burns or heavy injuries!

"What the hell is he talking about!! Is he going mad or something!"

"Who knows! Let's wait for the boss and big boss to arrive! They will tell us what we need to do with him!"

The guards were talking amongst them!

He was going crazy the way his hands had been burning!

The two guards took him and threw him in the cold pond of water!

"Keep soaking yourself here! Don't ever try to come out otherwise we are really going to kill you!"

One of them was really frustrated the way he had been yelling at them with her hands and showing around that it was burnt when there was nothing to see at all!

"Damn! I have never seen such a person like this in my life!"

They said and left him behind!

"Never mind! Let's just wait for the bosses to come!"

On the other hand Aiden saw Lana in such a condition and in the end he decided to call Misty! He knew if her brother or their kids would come to know then it would really be a headache and only Misty could help him with this!

But before he could call her, Lana said from inside,"Pro..Professor Aiden.. Is.. Is that really you!"

She called him from inside and Aiden finally gathered his courage to face her. He was really not sure what to do after whatever Nova had said to him!

"Yes! It's me Lana! I am here!" As soon as Lana heard his voice, she ran to him and stood right before him.

"You! You really came to save me, Professor Aiden!"

Her eyes were shining with a hint of excitement and expectation!

Because the last time she remembered she had called him when she was trapped in the Will's farm house by her so called cousin! He did not appear, rather the crown prince appeared and she gave him a nonsensical promise to give everything he wanted!

"Yes! It was me Lana!" Hearing his voice and the way he said it was him, made Lana's every nerve calm to the point that she really did not want to think anymore any further!

She looked at him and hugged him tight!

Aiden was taken aback! He was just thinking of leaving her alone since she was scared of being touched by anyone and here she was hugging him so that as if she was afraid that he would disappear any second!

"I.. I agree! I agree!" She murmured in a low voice. Even though Aiden could hear what she was saying but was not sure what she was agreeing for! He thought she was still in a huge shock so he took her out of his embrace and asked,

"What are you saying!"

Lana looked at him quietly for around 30 or more seconds and then lowered her head, "I agree!"

She still repeated her words and it was still far from his understanding!

"Ok! I understand but what are you agreeing with?"

He held her chin and made her look up!

"I agree with the thing you have said! I agree to give my life a chance with you!"

Even though he had made her look up but her eyes were still down! Her big eyelashes were covering her beautiful eyes, making his heart go crazy by her sudden answer to his proposal!

He had been preparing a lot of things for tonight but everything was ruined!

He looked up at her in daze! Not knowing how to react to her sudden acceptance!

When Lana sensed that he was not reacting at all so she quickly looked up and was about to apologize but before that Aiden took her in arms and hugged her tight!

"Are.. Are you sure!" Even though he had always been a stern man with a cold aura surrounding him all the time but at the moment… He was nothing but a happy man who had just got his beloved woman in his life!
