"I will not let you off and have fun tonight with you!"

The man in the dress of the waiter said and stepped forward towards her…

"Why the hell are you doing this to me?" Lana was panicked but still tried her best to braise herself and started taking her steps backward, leading herself to the door.

"Hah! I never thought that the will's family would offer me such beauty for the night!"

Even though Lana was barely wearing makeup and covered her eyes with the glasses she still looked breathtaking.

'The will's family! Those morons are at it again? I need to leave here! I don't want to fall into the same trap as 6 years ago!'

She said and rested her back on the door. She started trying to open it by turning the door knob but it was not opening even after her several efforts.

"Hah! Do you think that you will open the door just by turning the door knob? It's not that eyes"

He barged towards her while licking his lips disgustingly.

'No! I am not the same weak Lana as years before.. I can not fall into his hands this easily!'

She said to herself and a drop of tear fell from her left eyes.

But before he could even reach her, the door from behind opened and Lana fell backward.

She felt like she was about to feel a great pain from falling down on the floor but before that a large and warm pain wrapped it's hand on her bare stomach. She stopped breathing the moment she felt a foriegn touch which felt so similar to her.

"Take this man and execute him in the northwest palace!"

Lana heard a cold and domineering voice above her head and shivered. Though she had almost died years ago but there was no way she had seen people get killed.

Her body trembled when she looked up at the person above her head. Till now she had been gathering a lot of confidence to go head on head with the crown prince who was well known for his cruelty but now.. After seeing him with her own eyes and making his people kill the man without a second thought, proved that this man really lives up to his name!

'The Heartless, Cruel Crown Prince!'

All her confidence and the speech she had been preparing for the last two days, faded one by one from her mind.

She felt like her soul was leaving her body. She had never been scared of anyone in all her life, even if her life was at stake and she was about to be killed but at the moment her body would not stop trembling from fear!

"What are you trembling for?"

Adrian had been holding Lana all in his hands without letting her go. He tightened his grip more after saying this and circlied his arms on her bare waist even more.

'This feeling!' He thought when he realized that he had been holding onto her waist.

"C...C..Can..Can.. Y-You.. You..P.. Please.. L..Let..Let me..me..go?"

Lana was stuttering hard while saying a single sentence which did not even contain 10 words in it.

"Are you not the one who wanted to meet me in person? Now.. Why do you want me to let go all of a sudden?"

Adrian looked down at her head and asked.

"Well!" Lana was not sure what to say and how to tell him that she was scared but before that he let go of her and said

"I am sorry! I should not have touched you like this without your permission!"

His voice was gentle and the way he was apologizing to her, she felt like she was seeing a whole different man in the world.

"I.. I am sorry, Your Highness!" She said and quickly bowed her head down

"I just wanted to show you my respect as It was too disrespectful to touch you"

Lana was even more scared when he said sorry to her.

'Dangerous men are always like this! Apologizing when they are going to kill a person who have offended them'

She said to herself in her mind. Though it was her second time meeting him but she had done a lot of research on him before coming here.

He was known to be an ugly man behind his mask and a cruel devil who will kill anyone without even giving a single thought.

"You don't need to! It was not your fault anyway."

He said and straightened her clothes which were slightly crooked.

He never liked touching someone before she appeared in his life and now she would be his wife. Now, all he had to do was to trap her!

Lana said nothing and kept her head low.

"Follow me!"

He handed a bottle of water, god knows where it came from and said "Don't you have to talk about the matter of life and death?"

Lana was stunned! She said all this to her ex boss. But at the moment… If he would really care about saving a child who is suffering?

He walked away and she followed behind him silently.

They reached the private room which was originally booked for them to have a talk.

When they both entered, Lana was stunned by the beauty of it. She had seen a lot of beautiful and luxurious places but it was something else.

The whole room was shining gold and crystal.

"Do you like it?" He turned around and sat on his seat.

"Huh!" Lana was awestruck when she saw the seat he was sitting at!

Her jaw dropped when she realized what it was made up of.

'Th...This chair.. Damn! Don't tell me it is all made of pure white jade and the room..'

"Yes! It's made up of gold, ruby and diamond.. And my seat is made up of pure white Jade!"

As if he had seen through her mind.. He replied.

"By the way..As the crown prince of the country… I don't have much time in hand"

He said and continued "Just get to the point"

Lana was not sure who to get to the point? How could she ask a prominent man to give her bone marrow for her daughter and in return… In return she had nothing to offer at all!

All her speech and everything went in vain.

"Fine! I have another meeting to attend..I am leaving!"

She stood up and in a matter of seconds he walked past her and reached the door.

She was confused about what happened just now.

Her legs went weak and she fell on the floor "Your… Your majesty! Please.. Please save my daughter! Please save her life!"

Adrian was about to reach the door but halted in his tracks hearing her pleas!

"She! Doctors said that she is a special child and is not suffering too much like the other kids but I know! I know as a mother what my baby is going through…"

She didn't know from where she got her courage but she said it all.

"She is just 5 and I don't want her to die.. She will be 6 this August" She said while looking at her fingers..

"They.. They said that it would be a miracle if she would survive till the age of 10 years… And.. And I can really not lose her"

"She should have been the person I would have hated the most! After the cruelty I had been through in this world but I made her my hope to live but now… Why is God and heavens so cruel to me like that?"

Her voice trembled and she burst out in heavy tears.

"She.. She had leukemia since she was born and only her father could save her but for some personal reasons I really don't want to go to their father! I did… We did all those things on a whim as we both were set up by our enemies"

Finally Adrian looked back at her "So! The cruelty which happened to you years ago and made you have a kid running your whole youth and life… You forgive that man?"

Lana had never thought of forgiving the man ever and had never hated the man but when she faced this question without hesitation she said..

"What's the point of hating a victim? If he was not there then I would have been served to 10 lewd men to destroy me! He was also being set up and if it was not for me then he would have been hurt by his enemies!"

Even though she was replying to him but it was a huge realization for her as well..

She really did think this way? She really has not hated the man all these years?

Seems like she had been confused herself all the time but at the moment she had no confusion in her heart and no regret at all.

May be have grown up now.. That she learned to forget and forgive already!
