Victor heard the words of the King and quickly kneeled down "I am sorry, His Highness! I have no excuse for being late!"

Jess, looked at her foolish son and slapped her forehead and murmured "Don't he know how to lie? Why are both my kids good for nothing?!"

"It is I who made him late!" The Crown Prince appeared in the court hall and there was no announcement made.

It was always like this, whenever he appeared he would just deny any announcement to be made and since it was a private family gathering that was not really necessary at all!

But as soon as he appeared everyone kneeled down to show their respect to the future King of the Country of Avalon!

"Uncle!" Nova looked at him in daze and voiced out subconsciously.

"And may I know what you did with him that not only made him come late but you came late as well!"

The King was in a good mood. He was not planning to punish anyone and Prince Victor was his beloved grandson to whom he had always wanted to spoil to no end.

"Imperial grandfather, we were looking into some business matter almost all the night and that is what the reason, we came late"

Before Adrian could say anything Victor explained to the King so he smiled at his nephew.

"Ok fine! Prince Victor.. You don't need to keep kneeling on the ground like that."

Victor stood up from the ground and went to sit on his seat.

"Prince Adrian, I want you to take your seat as well!" The King looked at his only son and said tenderly.

Adrian bowed his respect to the King and said "Ok His Highness!"

He said and went to sit on his seat as well.

The Chief Priest bowed his head to him and Adrian eyed him 'Why is the chief Priest here? What's the occasion?' He thought to himself but said nothing.

"My Lord! Is there anything I need to do more?" Finally when everyone settled down, the Royal Chief Priest opened his mouth.

"Well! Both Princes are here and my whole family is present here! So I want to take advantage of this situation and want you to choose an auspicious date to bring the Princess Consort to the Palace!"

The King looked at Adrian, but there was no way he could tell what he was feeling. His face was hidden behind the mask and even though there was no mask he would never be able to read his expressions.

"Very well, My Lord! The Prince is turning 30 after six months. So I suggest you bring the princess consort before the six months for now!"

The Chief Priest counted something on his fingers and said.

"Why are you guys in such a hurry? I mean it is the marriage of the Country's future King and there must have to be something big and rocking! I don't want my uncle to get married like old days"

Victor looked at Adrian and continued "I don't want him to get married like old family law! After all it's 21st century and this must have be grand and everyone must know in the world that it is the Crown Prince of the Avalon, who is getting married"

Jess smiled at her son's words and said "I agree with the second Prince, My Lord! It will be no fun if we just send a carriage to bring her here and then send them both to perform the rituals to our ancestors!"

Jess joined the force with her son as she too wanted her brother's marriage to be grand and luxurious.

"Sorry to cut you between your words, first princess.." Chief Priest said and continued "I know but we can't not delay this! His Highness the Crown Prince must marry within six month and there must not be any big occasion for the time being! Princess Consort must be hidden from the world."

"According to the Royal family law of the King's.. The Queen had to be deserted for 6 months or have to maintain the secrecy for the country's well being!"

The Chief Priest explained in detail to them. Since it was the matter of the life of Adrian and the matter of the future of the country.. No one objected actually!

"That's fine by us! We will arrange the marriage in the next five months before the Crown Prince's 30th birthday but the thing is we still need the girl to agree as we can't really force her and since she already has kids, it will really be hard for us to make her marry him!"

The Queen was really concerned over this! She had seen her before and liked her so much. She really wanted to marry her son.

At first it was pure greed and selfishness but after seeing her a few times and observing her.. She found out that she really likes her!

So she wanted her to marry in the royal family as his son's wife!

"That would be so boring but if it concerns my imperial uncle's life then I have no problem."

Victor puffed his cheeks in disappointment and looked at his uncle.

'Stupid uncle! You are so worthless! You can't even give a grand wedding to my ex-employee!' He thought in her mind while looking at him.

"Don't worry dear nephew! I will throw a big party for you and your friends after the 6 months have passed.. I will leave it all to you by then"

As if Adrian had seen through his thoughts, he said while smirking at him.

Victor looked at him, faked a smile and nodded respectfully.

If it was not the imperial court then he would have yelled at him till his ears would be bleeding.

"Your face must be hurting from smiling so long, second prince! You don't need to do this anymore!"

Adrian was not looking at him yet he could tell by the way he was feeling his eyes on him that he must be wanting to chop him off because of all the things that happened last night but still he couldn't help but tease him!

"My Lord!" Amidst of all these The Chief Priest spoke up and said

"On the fifth month, there are two auspicious dates.. If Your highness grants me the permission then I would like to tell you"

"Yes.. Yes, tell! I had actually given the time of 3 months to the crown prince to court his wife but it seems like he had done nothing even after two months are gone but I guess these 5 months will be more than enough! Am I right?"

Everyone's eyes lit up and Adrian was looking forward to it as well but he showed no excitement like others and waited for the date to come.

"12th September and the other one is just two days before the birthday of his highness the crown prince.. 10th October!"

"It's great.. It's great! My lord.. I think the 10th October will be the best! No one will be suspicious even if we held a party within our family!"

The Queen got all excited and looked at her King husband for his approval.

"Well! I don't mind whether it is 12th September or 10th October..As long as the Crown Prince is satisfied!"

The King looked at his son and the filial son quickly stood up and bowed his head in respect "If My Lord! And Mother thinks it is good for me then there is no way I can go against it!"

Hearing his words the King and Queen felt delighted and said " After the meeting ends.. Meet us in our chamber! We have something very important to discuss!"

The King smiled at him and ordered everyone to disperse!

All the people who were present in the court were satisfied and happy with the decision except Nova! She really did not want her uncle to marry someone with two kids!

Though she really liked him but after the warning of her mother and having a feeling of everything around her was very strange..

She decided to put aside her feelings for now and look into the matter as it was not something simple and she really wanted to know what was going on!

"Mom! Is uncle really going to marry the woman who is the mother of two? I mean it's not like something small! They might be called illegitimate in the future!"
