In the Royal Palace,

The Royal Priest was called and the Royal family was present in the hall of The King.

"Mom! Why are we here? I mean all of a sudden why are we called here? Were we not fine in our chambers that we were suddenly invited here?"

Nova said while puffing her cheeks in anger.

"Shut up! Don't talk too much and try not to interfere in the Royal matters"

Jess elbowed her daughter and tried to control her behaviour.

"Fine mom! But can you please tell me why we are gathered here? And why is the Royal priest here?"

She didn't want to let it go but her mother once again scolded her "Stop being noisy Nova. Don't forget we are not in our chamber. If anyone hears you then you won't be forgiven"

Nova quickly quieted down and waited patently.

" Attention everyone! His Highness the King is arriving"

On of the imperial guard yelled followed by the other

"Attention Everyone! Her Highness the Queen is arriving!"

As soon as the announcement was made, everyone stood up and bowed their heads in respect.

"Long live the King! Long live the Queen!"

Everyone said in sync and with respect.

Apart from the Royal family and Royal Priest, some other trusted subordinates of the King's were present there.

The King and the Queen went to the throne and sat there pridefully.

The Queen looked at one of her maids and said "Show the papers to the Royal Priest!"

The maid quickly bowed her head and took out a beautifully decorated tray and went to the Priest with her head low.

"Royal Priest, You are the fortune teller of the Royal family for ages and your all predictions have come true every time and you have proved your worth by the time! I hope that you will not disappoint us this time as well!"

The King looked towards the Royal Priest and praised him, yet his voice was stern as composed like a true king.

Nova looked at her mother and said in a low voice, more like whispering "Mom! What are all these? Why are they doing all these?"

Jess said nothing and gestured to her to keep her mouth shut.

"Royal Priest! This is the paper in which you had counted stars for the life of The Crown Prince and predicted his life and his circumstances in future. And now it is high time for him to get married so I want you to look into the girl's stars and tell you about their compatibility!"

The Queen smiled and said.

Even though everyone knew there was no reason for all these.

There was no use of counting stars and the compatibility test as they were fated for a long long time yet they were doing all these things according to the rituals.

The Royal Priest quickly bowed in front of them and said "It is my luck and fortune that I am playing such a great part in the life of His Highness, The Crown Prince!"

"But there is no need to look into it! I have been following their lives since they were born and indeed they are compatible and they are all the stars and fully matched but there is something which I would like to tell you guys!"

The Chief Royal Priest said and continued "His Royal Highness, The Crown Prince was destined to meet her before his age of 25 and I am sure they did! Otherwise there must have been a bigger disaster in the country as well as in his life!"

The Chief Royal Priest was still talking and everyone was hearing him attentively except Nova, who had been rolling her eyes since he had started talking as she never believed in all these things.

"Everything is good but the thing is not good that if they come together they will bring disaster to themselves! And there will be no happy moments in their lives! They both have to suffer life and death moments and other heart wrenching things but if they won't come together soon… Their life span.. I can't really tell till when they can live without each other!"

The silence was spread in the room as no one talked after this.

It was a very weird situation! If they did not come together there would be a disaster in the country or they could even die! But if they did come together, there was no guarantee for their peaceful lives!

"With all due respect to His Highness the King and Her Highness the Queen!..."

Nova had had enough so she finally stood up and said "How could this happen? We live in the twenty -first Century and there is no such thing in the world!"

Jess glared in anger at her daughter! She knew nothing yet she was butting in and making herself a fool.

"Sit down Nova! You know nothing!" She tugged on her sleeves but she did not budge at all.

The Royal Chief Priest said while bowing his head towards her "Indeed,Your Highness, The second Princess… This is the twenty-first century! But there are some things which are beyond time and centuries and which can not be explained in words! You should read some books in the library about the History of your family and the family line, rather than getting so much involved the world of materials!"

In front of everyone the Chief Priest scolded her in a very humble manner. So no one said anything but Nova, of course she was burning from inside.

Since she had told her mother that she likes her imperial uncle, she had stopped her in every possible way from seeing him. She was not even allowed to go anywhere near him.

She felt frustrated and came here only to take a glimpse of him but he was nowhere to be found. Rather these people were talking such nonsense and everyone was hearing him, even her own mother!

The Queen looked at her and said "My dear, Princess Nova! You were invited here because you are a family member of the Royal's! But if you really don't want to be here and then you can leave! There is no one forcing you to stay or something!"

The Queen's words were humble too but it was clearly evident that she was scolding her and it was the first time in her life that Nova had been humiliated like this in her life.

She did not leave the court immediately because she knew it would be offending to the King and Queen. She never wanted to offend them or disrespect them but she could not really bear the things which were going on.

"I beg your pardon, Her Highness the Queen! My intentions were never to disrespect anyone! It's just that, I found it weird.. All things!"

She bowed her head humbly and apologized to them.

"It's ok my child! You are still a kid! You will know everything as the time passes and we are not doing anything unreasonable! We are only doing the things for which we are still on earth!"

It was the King who said that. He was not scolding her or anything. His voice was soft and doting, trying to make her understand the situation. Nova finally felt a little good as she had been getting scolded from all the sides.

'I think.. I really need to know about the family line! I have been reading a lot of medical books that I don't even know about the family in which I live!' She thought to herself and smiled at the King humbly and took her seat to sit!

"Attention! His Highness, the second Prince is arriving in the court!"

After all the talks with Nova, The King and the Queen started discussing the pros and cons of the marriage, when the guard announced the arrival of Victor, who was the second prince of the Royal family.

Victor entered the hall and bowed his head and showed his respect to the King and the Queen!

"Second Prince! My I know why are you so late in the court, when you have to arrive earlier than anyone else?"

The King's attention was diverted from the Chief Priest to his grandson, who was usually on time but today he came very late.

Victor heard the words of the King and quickly kneeled down "I am sorry, His Highness! I have no excuse for being late!"

Jess, looked at her foolish son and slapped her forehead and murmured "Don't he know how to lie? Why are both my kids good for nothing?!"
