"Excuse me! Is there Rain Wills in the hospital?"

Lana asked in a hurry as she really wanted to meet her daughter at the moment.

She had called the teacher to take Rain to the hospital as she was quite far away and it might take her some time to reach there.

"Ma'am Rain Wills on the 5th floor in the general child's ward!"

Lana quickly rushed to the elevator.

She started looking everywhere on the 5th floor and in the end she found Rain and Alex in the ward.

"Rain…Rain.. How is she!" She saw little Rain lying in the bed lifelessly.

"Mom.. You are finally here!" Alex saw Lana and hugged her.

"Mom.. I have never seen her like this before… Now why is she being like this?"

Lana was quiet all the time and was looking at her little girl silently.

"Mom!!! I am asking you some thing? Why is my sister in this condition out of nowhere!?"

Alex had been extremely worried when Rain had puked blood and he could do nothing.

At that time she was clutching her head and heart one by one to lessen the pain but the more she tried the more she was hurting.

Alex had never seen her like this before which was very scary for him to see.

"Nothing! She must be tired and might not have slept well!"

She said while suppressing her threatening tears.

It was all her fault that her little child was in this condition.

Rain had to take her medicines on time daily and since Lana never openly gave her the medication, she just used to mix in her drink or her food so that no one would know.

She did not want her kids to live in fear of losing each other but it's all because she was unconscious this morning and Rain missed her dose.

"Mom! Don't try to fool me! I am not a kid anymore.. My sister is suffering in this way and here you are saying it's nothing!"

Alex was not giving her a chance to lie to him but Lana was also not in mood to tell him so for the first time in her life she scolded her precious little son…

"Have you not heard me enough!?"

She said while gritting her teeth "I am her mother and yours too! Don't forget that… I will never harm my own blood and flesh.."

Though she was angry but still age controlled her at last.

She took a deep breath and said "Look Alex! I am calling your uncle Caspian… Go and live with him.."

Alex was a little shocked when she almost yelled at him.

"Mom… Can you not endure everything all alone!? Why not share some burden with me?"

He said and hugged her legs "Mom… I really wish I was a grown man and would have been able to help you!"

Lana looked at her son and gluped hard, trying her best not to choke.

"Ok… If you want then stay here a little more… I will go and talk to the doctor about Little Rain's condition!"

She said and kissed his hair softly and turned her head to look at her daughter who was still unconscious.

"Ok Mom…Even though I am not able to help you yet but I promise I will never make trouble for you.."

He said and obediently went beside the bed and sat there to look after her.

Lana took a deep breath suppressing her feelings and walked away from Alex.

She ran away in the open area of the hospital which was like a little garden.

She quickly took out her inhaler and inhaled a few breaths and her eyes which were holding tears till now, she finally let it go and started sobbing hard.

"Why!? Is it not enough for me and Casper to suffer? He became Caspian and I became Lana! Losing our identities was not enough?"

She looked up at the sky and sobbed hard "I lost everything and all I had was my little kids but now… My Little Rain… My precious little daughter is in this situation!!! Why all these things… I have to suffer...W.H.Y!?"

She yelled hard at the end of her sentence.

She squatted on the ground and hid her face in her legs.

"Miss Lana!! Why do I see you every time you keep crying like this?"

All of a sudden a deep voice came from above of her head.

Her eyes were seeing nothing but darkness buried in her lap and slowly she felt like she was drowning in the darkness but his voice made her come back from the dark abyss.

She looked up and found Aiden there.

"Why every time I see you, You keep crying over something. "

"Pro… Professor!?"

She was shocked to see him there as well.

'Why in the world was he always everywhere!? Whenever I am in despair… He is there. '

She looked at him with her misty and teary eyes.

"Yes… But My dear Student.. You can call me Aiden outside of the University!"

He said while smiling brightly.

She did not say anything and hid her face again in her lap once again.

Aiden looked at the little crying squatting on the floor from above and frowned.

"Are you going to sit there like that?"

He said and squatted down to her level as well and then slowly caressed her head softly.

"You can share anything in the world with me Lana, I am willing to take care of you forever… All you have to do is to tell me to give me a hint about what you want!"

He said the last sentence in a very low voice so that she couldn't hear.

"I… S.. Sir...My.. My.." Her voice was so heavy and weak that she was unable to say anything.

"Yes Lana… What? Tell me what happened?"

He said while still keeping his hand on her head and stroking it lightly.

Though Lana had never liked any strangers touching her but still she was feeling safe strangely.

She looked up to see him into his eyes and quickly slipped away from his touch on her head and stood up.

"Nothing… It's just that… I am so poor so I am like this!"

Lana's words were so brutally blunt that it not only took Aiden off guard but she was shocked as well.

"No… I mean… I wanted to say it was…!"

Lana felt utterly embarrassed when she realized what she had said just now.

"It's ok.. it's just money… I can give you all you want..!"

Though Lana was feeling embarrassed but she didn't expect this type of reply from him.

"No… I mean I really am not in need of money… If you really want to do something for me then please release me from living on campus."

She said in a single breath.

She turned to look at him and his brows were frowned

"Look Mr. Sir…I am a single mother… I don't know how much malicious comments I am going to go through in the university and living on the campus will be the death of me…"

"And to tell you the truth… My little daughter is severely sick and I am in a very bad condition so I might not be able to go to university let alone living in campus"

"I don't wish to do anything in the world if my child is sick.. I heard I might be kicked out if I don't live there so you can just kick me out...I don't want anything in the world if my Rain is not fine… Is it not better to die? I mean what's the use of life when I can't even save my heart ?"

At first Lana was talking sanely as now she was totally out of her mind and her words were once again indicating her bad mental state..

"This world has taken everything from me! My parents, my little brother's childhood… He..He was so little but still he had to go through all the things but in the end he was forced to pretend dead!... Years ago… Someone came to me and took my purity that night I endured too!!"

"I hate that man to the core who just came and did everything... If not for that bloody Leo… That... 2 November… I hate it all!... But I endured it…"
