"I thought something was up when the lights went off… I seriously didn't want to scare you so I said nothing and tried to repair the fault first and then to explain to you. I.. I have no other thoughts, I swear. "

He said with all the softness and patience he had in him.

Even though he was angry at first with her but after somehow understanding her relationship with Caspian he was calm to some extent.

"I am sorry that all this happened. If… if you want I will just leave. I came here only because as a professor I was worried about you "

He did not tell that he was fuming mad since she had invited a guy at home. He just told her how worried he was for her.

Lana said nothing and sat there squatting not knowing what to do. Her body was shaking a little.

On the other hand Aiden was not sure as well. He was trying to convince her in every way possible but she was not hearing him at all.

Most of the girls were dying to throw themselves on him but here she was not even giving him a little bit of a face.

"Ok… ok fine. I.. I am leaving. Don't be mad like this"

He finally decided to leave as it was too much to take for him.

He stood up and started walking, he had just reached the door when he heard her voice

"Sir.. Can you please wait outside. " Her voice was shaky and as if she had been crying.

He wanted to say something but stopped himself. "Ok" was the only word he spoke and went out to the living room to wait.

Lana on the other hand was feeling really guilty. It was her who did not check on the person. She also ignored the fact that it was not Caspian and he was alone there was no voice of her kids.

She was so immersed in her own thoughts that she ignored it fully.

But she was thankful that it was not just anyone. It was Mr. AR and at some point she was assured that he would not take advantage of her so she finally gathered her strength and asked him to stay after hearing all of his words.

She stood up and went to the washroom to wash her face and took an anti- anxiety tablet so that she could calm herself down.

She wore a proper dress after some consideration. She never liked wearing shorts and all in front of strangers as she had seen men ogling on girls even when they are fully covered so she decided to be cautious especially when she was alone with a man in the house. So she wore a shirt and loose trousers.

After about 20 minutes she came out of her room and found him sitting on the couch and was looking at the law books and fashion designing books which were kept on the table.

He did not look up even after sensing her presence in the room.

"Umm… Sir I… I am sorry.. I.. I really didn't mean to be like this.."

She stood there about 5 to 6 steps away from him and said in a low voice.

"Hm!? Did you just say something?" He heard clearly what she had said but still made it look like he did not hear her at all.

"I… I was saying "

She said but he cut her off "Miss Lana.. It's your own house I guess? So it's ok if you sit and talk right ?"

He said patted the space next to him.

She understood what he was saying so she walked a little closer and only then he looked up at her to find out that she had changed her dress and was wearing a light blue shirt and a white loose trouser. She was even wearing her specs at the moment but her hair was still in a messy bun and some drops of water were travelling from her hair to her check and then neck and at last it went inside her shirt, making it look extremely hot.

His eyes were on her bosom but soon he retreated his gaze from her chest and looked up at her.

"Why are you still standing? Sit !"

This time his voice was stern as if he was giving orders to her so she quickly sat on the couch next to him instead of sitting beside him.

He did not mind her and went back to read the book he had been reading.

"Sir… it was my fault for being like this " She said and went quite not knowing what to say anymore.

"Why? Just a moment ago you had a lot to talk about but right now you have nothing to say other than being sorry?"

He did not look up and said still while looking into the book.

"What can I even say? A huge giant man is sitting in front of me in my house when I am all alone.! You know how freaking scary it is!"

She whispered to herself but she did not know that she was heard by that big giant man in front of her.

"Miss Lana. Have you never been alone with a man like this?"

Even though he did not look up but still smirked just by thinking about it.

"No… I mean it's not like that. Let me bring you something to eat…"

She said and ran away as soon as she said.

"This girl is really something"

He shook his head and went back on reading the books he had been reading.

Next Day Lana woke up early as always to send her kids to their school and went to the washroom to fresh'n up.

She came out after 5 minutes and found her bed empty

"Gosh… How foolish I am! They are not even here and I am just waking at 5 just to send them school"

She smiled like a fool and went to the kitchen.

It was not like it's her fault. She was used to it now. 6 years are more than enough to make people change their hobbies and routine and she has changed a lot in all these years.

Today, Caspian was not going to pick her up as he had some work to do so she decided to go on her own and also to look for some jobs.

"It really won't do.. I need a job, otherwise how am I going to survive in this cruel world?"

She thought to herself while entering her university gate.

She was immersed in her own thoughts but somehow she felt that a lot of eyes had been glaring at her. She tried to ignore it but it was so uncomfortable for her.

She walked fast ignoring them trying her best to stay away from any problems as it's just been two weeks and she did not want any complications here.

She walked fast as some students started surrounding her.

"Bump"

She bumped her head in a hard pillar making her hiss a little.

"So… She is the one? How can there be such a girl? I mean like look at her"

One girl said in total voice of disdain

"Hah..! She had been so close to our Caspian but who knew she is such a seductress"

Till now she felt only uncomfortable but after hearing the word 'seductress' her body froze on the spot. She did not even dare to look at whom she bump into.

"Professor called her to see her in his office once but she had been meeting him and seeing him in his office quite a lot.. It must be that she had changed her target by now"

Other girl said while gritting her teeth. She was afraid, so much scared that she wanted to die until a meek and sweet voice came

"Please don't be like that. She is my sister. Don't talk bad about her. I will feel really sad"

Finally Lana looked up at the man and found out that it was 'Felix', the man he had seen in the Royal Building with AR.

She looked at him for a sec and turned around.

"It's not her fault to fall in love with Leo. After all, who would not like to have a husband as rich as Leo Wilson."

It seemed like she was taking sides with her but people who were sensible enough could easily tell that she was trying to defame her and damage her reputation.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Caspian who had just entered the university, was informed by his friend about the situation so he came running for her.

Lana had decided to ignore them but seeing Caspian involved, she couldn't help but come forward to defend herself.
