He pulled her even closer and kissed her on the lips. Pakura tried to back away but Yama held her tightly and didn't let her. He didn't want to force her to do anything that she didn't want so after a couple of seconds he let her go.

Pakura didn't know how to react, she was so embarrassed that she wanted to go live on a deserted island for the rest of her life. She went to her mattress and buried her face in the pillow.

The next day, everyone started to pack up things and head back to Konoha. Few people stayed back to observe the actions of Kumo.

Pakura was slightly conflicted, she wanted to be with Yama but the thought of going to Konoha scared her. She had fought and killed Konoha ninjas before so she was worried about the reaction of the village higher-ups.

She wanted to talk to Yama and convince him not to return to the village and just travel the world with her, but she was too embarrassed to talk with him right now.

Yama could see that she was uncomfortable. "What's going on is something bothering you?"

Her heart started to beat faster because the memory of the previous night started to play in her head, she took a deep breath and calmed down.

"Yama let's not go to Konoha."

Yama wasn't expecting she would say that. "What's the reason?"

"I am just worried, I don't think the higher-ups will be too fond of me and I dont want you to face trouble because of me."

"But…" She wanted to say something but Yama stopped her.

"No buts, Minato is going to be the Kage soon and do you think he will create trouble for us. I am sure your sensei Jiraiya is going to help us too if they take things too far.

"I also have a small connection with Fugaku and obviously, the Inuzuka clan is also on our side, all these people who fought against Kumo have already accepted you as their allies. With all these people as our allies do you still think anyone is going to create trouble for us?"

Two weeks passed. Yama, Pakura, and Friday were the first to arrive at Konoha. Because of their large number, the speed of Konoha's troops was pretty slow. Yama was bored moving so slowly, so the three of them separated from the group and arrived early at Konoha.

The three of them reached the entrance gate of Konoha.

Yama suddenly felt like someone was watching him and he knew who this someone was. Friday also felt someone watching him so he barked and signalled Yama.

"Yo Hokage same, it would be nice if you told your guards to let us in instead of spying on us."

A masked shinobi jumped down next to them. "Let them in, it's hokage Sama's order."

"Hai." The two guards responded and let Yama and Pakura inside the village.

The anbu looked at Yama and Pakura. "Two of you come to the Hokage sama's office immediately."

"I am pretty tired after the long journey, and I also miss my mom, so I am going to visit her, I will take a rest for a day and maybe tomorrow I will go to his office."

"It's Hokage sama's ORDER, not his request, visit him immediately."

"It's not a nice way to treat your war heroes is it now? Lower your tone a little and tell your Hokage that I am going to visit him tomorrow."

Yama immediately disappeared from his place and appeared in front of the anbu. He grabbed the anbu by the neck and picked him up.

Yama could feel Hokage still watching him.

"If you want to talk to me that badly come and visit me yourself. And if you keep watching me I might crush a few of your bugs out of annoyance.

Yama let go of the Anbu's neck and started walking towards the Inuzuka clan. Pakura was starting to get worried it hadn't been 5 minutes since they reached the village and Yama had already fought an anbu.

The two guards gulped in fear as they remembered their previous attitude towards this man.
