In Naruto With The Power Of One Piece. Chapter 20

When she opened her eyes the next second, she was trapped in a strange world. Even Friday wasn't safe from the genjutsu.
Fugaku moved towards Pakura to kill her while she was still trapped in his genjutsu. He took out a kunai and tried to slit her throat.
"Closed range Tempest Kick."
Yama moved towards Fugaku and delivered a powerful kick to his ribs. Fugaku hadn't expected the boy to break out of his genjutsu so quickly, so he was hit cleanly by the attack.
The force of the kick was also much stronger than he had expected. The wind was knocked out of Fugaku.
"Urgh."
Fugaku flew back.
"Captain."
The three Konoha shinobi walked towards Fugaku.
Yama touched Pakura and Friday and injected them with his chakra, disrupting their chakra flow. Thanks to him, the two were able to break free from the genjutsu.
"Be careful, he's not to be trifled with, and don't look him in the eye. Worst case scenario, you take care of the three shinobi and take off with Friday, I'll take care of Fugaku."
Pakura was surprised by Yama again, she was instantly rendered helpless by Fugaku, but Yama was not only able to break Fugaku's genjutsu, but he was able to land a kick on him and help her escape from the genjutsu, saving her life again.
Yama looked calm on the outside but on the inside he was very nervous, he would rather fight Jiraiya than Fugaku and that was because Yama's weakest point was Genjutsu.
He would have to constantly worry about falling under Fugaku's genjutsu, and he would have to interrupt his chakra flow very regularly to be safe, which would reduce his fighting efficiency by a lot.
But the thing that bothered him the most was Fugaku's Mangekyou ability. He had no idea what Fugaku was capable of with those crimson eyes.

"I thought Pakura was the biggest threat in the group, but it looks like I was wrong. What's your name, boy?" Yama had gained Fugaku's respect, not anyone could land a clean attack against him.
"Fugaku, we're not here to fight, we're here to bring Jiraiya this scroll." Yama took out the scroll he had gotten from Guy and showed it to Fugaku, the seal on the scroll was from Konoha and was still intact.
"How did you get the scroll?"
"That's not important, is it?"
"Give me the scroll."
"Is your name Jiraiya?"
Fugaku frowned. "Boy, don't try to fool me if you want to live, I said give me the scroll."
Yama slowly transformed into his Hybrid form, now towering over Fugaku with his size. He then released Conqueror Haki with all his might towards Fugaku.
"And I asked, is your name Jiraiya?"
The three shinobi couldn't withstand the pressure and fell to their knees, barely conscious. Fugaku was also under a tremendous amount of pressure and he began to doubt himself as to whether or not he could defeat this boy, especially since he had now found out his identity.
'How many people has he killed to release such murderous intent?'
"So you are the famous bounty hunter Zoro. I can now understand why Kakuzu ran away after facing you, but I am not Kakuzu. I won't lose to you."
"Yes you will, but you'll lose to us," Pakura said as she created three scorch release balls.
Fugaku frowned again. Maybe he could beat Zoro in a one-on-one fight, but if he added Pakura, things could get complicated - the three shinobi were practically useless under that suffocating pressure. If he didn't use his mangekyou, it would be very difficult to win this fight.

Neither side wanted to fight the other, and the fight came to a standstill. After a long stalemate, Fugaku decided to take Yama and Pakura to the camp, because if they tried anything funny in the Konoha camp, not even God could help them.
"Follow me, but if you try anything shady, don't blame me for being merciless."
"Lead the way." Replied Yama as he stopped his conqueror's haki and transformed back into his original form.
Pakura let out a sigh of relief. Yama was now facing the leader of the legendary Uchiha clan and was completely calm, while she was sweating on the other side as she stood before him. Now they followed Fugaku to the Konoha base where they would meet Jiraiya.
If she wasn't with Yama, she would never consider doing something like this, but being with Yama strangely boosted her confidence. Yama really was as wild as the rumors claimed.
Soon, they reached the base of Konoha. The scouts noticed Yama and Pakura following Fugaku. They approached Fugaku and asked if everything was alright.
Fugaku nodded his head and said that everything was fine. Fugaku, Yama, Pakura and Friday made their way to Jiraiya's camp.
On the way to the camp Yama noticed a familiar face, he saw Tsume, he knew she was at the battlefield but he didn't know where she was. Tsume was in the corner talking to her teammates so she didn't notice Yama.
The four people entered Jiraiya's camp. Inside were four people, one of them was Jiraiya and the other three were probably Jounin level shinobi, but Yama couldn't recognize them.
Jiraiya looked at Fugaku with a questioning look.
"He is Zoro, and he has a scroll sent to us by Konoha."
Jiraiya looked at Pakura and then looked back at Fugaku asking him why she was here.
"I don't know, she was with the kid, I tried to kill her, but that kid is a cunning bastard and not so easy to kill."
Jiraiya nodded, understanding what Fugaku was getting at. Jiraiya pointed at the chairs and smiled.
"Please, take a seat."
Just by standing in front of Jiraiya, Yama could tell that Jiraiya was strong.
'And Pain killed him when he was in the sage mode, without much trouble, I'm still weak.'
Pakura on the other side was fearing for her life. Jiraiya and Fugaku could both kill her in a second, and the other jounin in the room weren't to be trifled with either, all that, and Yama was still calm.

8 1366MANTIS: On Hiatus
Two young adults who were childhood friends are killed amidst a pandemic worse than our own. After many years apart, Rihelah was on her way to see Michael, hoping to rekindle their friendship on the day they would both lose their lives. The pair are unwittingly selected to represent Earth in a test set forth by godlike beings who are intrigued that our world gave rise to complex life without having been intentionally seeded by their kind. Michael and Rihelah are reincarnated as predatory insects upon a distant planet called Edon. Elves, Dwarves, Dragons and their kin, Goblins, Ogres, Humans, Lizardfolk, Orcs, and sapient arthropods known as Enkelyn all inhabit this beautiful world touched by magic. The tiny mantids must survive terrified and very much alone upon arrival, while neither is aware that the other has also been reincarnated upon the same island. Naked in their new chitinous exoskeletons, they must now brave the terrors of an alien world's food chain. Each will benefit from their years of experience on Earth, but they must somehow find a balance between old lives and new. Moderate mindsets and peaceful values from a mostly safe and privileged life on Earth must now contend and somehow coexist with the strange physiology of a new and unfamiliar body as well as the violent aggressiveness of a predator's mind. To top things off, the pair are about to find themselves struggling with their inner turmoil while swept up by terrible conflicts they know nothing about. Both endure the hardships of their new lives while attempting to understand and make proper use of a mysterious and terse video-game-like System that pops status notifications into their vision from time to time, but initially has no useful interface. Some of the options they are presented with sound enticing, but as with everything else in life, each choice has benefits and drawbacks... Author's Note: This story makes many changes to the original version, and readers of Mantid will find that many things in Mantis are new and different; especially after the first few chapters. I've learned a ton from writing like a madman, and also from the RR community. I appreciate you guys! :)
