Guy threw a punch towards Yama's face, Yama slightly moved his head to the side and dodged the punch. Guy was about to attack Yama again but before he could do that Yama attacked guy with a spinning wheel kick to the head. ​​

Guy didn't have enough time to dodge so he used both his hands to block the kick but he was still pushed back by the kick.

"That's enough for today. Now get on ur hands and start your daily lap around the village" Duy who was observing the fight told them and left.

They did as Duy told them to and stopped fighting and started walking on their hands.

"Yama your strength just keeps increasing every day, your kick nearly broke my hands."

Yama chuckled at Guy's statement. "That's why I keep telling you we are not on the same level and I am not your rival, I am above you."

Guy laughed. "That's the kind of attitude my rival should have, don't worry I will catch up to you soon. I have already reached the level of Kakashi my other rival, we fought two days ago and it was a tie."

"I am not a weakling like Kakashi."

"Kakashi is not weakling the only reason our match was a tie is that he didn't use ninjutsu if not I would have probably lost."

"I also didn't use ninjutsu and I still won so I am better than both you and Kakashi."

"Kakashi is the same age as you and has already graduated the academy and has officially become a shinobi, unlike you who hasn't even joined the academy you are 6 years old even I joined the academy when I was 5 and even I will graduate tomorrow."

"Most kids join the academy when they are 8 or 9."

"But you are not most kids you are my rival."

"It has been two years since I met you which means u have been in the academy for more than two years, show me what you have learned from the academy."

"They teach us various ninjutsu but I am not capable of using them. They also teach us the history of shinobi, decision making, survival skills, and other things like math which is very important."

"I know the history of shinobi better than the teacher that teaches you the same with maths, I don't need others to tell me how to make my decisions, I am a free man I will do whatever I want and I am confident to survive anywhere in the world. As for ninjutsu."

Suddenly a clone of Yama appeared in front of them, Guy was surprised and looked to the side only to see a Yama who had transformed into him.

Yama who was transformed into Guy looked at Guy. "Try and punch me."

Guy knew Yama's strength and didn't hesitate to punch him. When the punch was about to land Yama disappeared into a cloud of smoke, Guy's punch landed on something hard. The smoke disappeared and guy could see that he had punched a log.

Guy was surprised by Yama's flawless use of three ninjutsus that are taught in the academy.

"See I already know everything they teach us in the academy so what's the point of joining the academy?"

"When did you learn ninjutsu?"

"When you were wasting your time in the academy I asked sister Tsume to teach me ninjutsu and she was more than happy to teach me."

"You are worthy to be called the genius of the Inuzuka clan, I am gonna need to train harder to catch up to you."

They kept walking and making some small talks.

"After a couple of days we won't be able to train together regularly, it's wartime and even though I am a genin I need to missions. They probably won't send me to battle for a year but I will still be busy doing some small task inside the village."

"Yea it is hard for us since both iwa and kumo are hostile towards us, especially because Hatake Sakumo the commander of Anbu committed suicide," Yama said to see the reaction of Guy.

He could visibly see the sadness in Guy's eyes. "Yes is Kakashi's father."

"Make sure you take care of Kakashi don't let him be lonely." Replied Yama.

After training with Guy for a bit the two of them went their separate way. Guy went to meet Kakashi and Yama went towards the forest. He went deeper into the forest and suddenly something pounced on him.

"I missed you too buddy, what have you caught today?"

Friday barked happily and led him to the cave. Inside the cave, there was a body of a bear.

"You are not even half the size of a bear but you still managed to kill him that's impressive. This is why people are afraid of animals with chakra.

"We can't let it go to waste bring the pan and some wood here I will cook some of it and I am going to store the rest in the storage scroll."

Friday nodded and brought some wood and a pan. The two of them had spent near one and half years training in this place and had made this cave their second home. They had placed a mattress, water, oil, salt, food, cooking utensils, and some firewood.

He placed the firewood in one place and created a fire in his hand without using any hand signs. He cooked some delicious bear meat and shared it with Friday.

Yama laid on the mattress in the cave and started thinking about his future plans. Friday came near him and snuggled close to him. Yama slowly started petting him.

"Friday we won't get much stronger just by training in this forest, this war is the perfect opportunity for us to increase our strength. We need a lot of combat experience to get stronger quickly and war will provide us just that.

"But the only thing is I don't want to follow orders so we have to work alone, which will be much harder so be prepared, we are going to leave the village for a couple of years."
