Chō' was lying unconscious in the infirmary bed, she probably wouldn't be waking up so soon, while she was sleeping, Kyle was watching over her, he was still thinking about her odd ability since he could now think without pressure, he thought what was Chō's ability. 1 it's a special technique that is only available to her family, but even with that it was learnable, and 2 this was some sort of special bloodline ability and there is no way he could learn it unless he had the same bloodline to which he doesn't.

While waiting for her to wake up suddenly, a person arrived at the infirmary and that person was Chō's mother. Chiyo.

"You're watching over my daughter? Fufu~ how sweet of you! Now you can stop. I'll take care of her from now on." Chiyo said with a smile.

Kyle stared at her for a moment before saying, "Alright, I'll leave it to you then ma'am."

If he insisted he would have looked like she's his girlfriend or something, there was no need for him to watch over her, he could just ask about it after they met again, there was no rush.

Before he could take a step outside the infirmary door, suddenly Chiyo spoke. "Kyle-kun, perhaps you did something to my bodyguard this morning?"

She was a sharp woman, she instantly noticed that something was wrong with the bodyguard that she sent to investigate Kyle's background, she immediately asked that bodyguard a few questions and some few points are missing, since she comes into contact to highest suspect, she might as well ask him directly but she knows that she probably wouldn't get the answer she wanted, so she wasn't too hopeful.

Chiyo couldn't force him to speak either because of his unknown background, so she couldn't ask carelessly, she wouldn't just make a mysterious enemy just like that because who knows, she might become the sole reason why her family would be destroyed.

And little did she know her decision was right because if she did become hostile toward Kyle, a single breath from Tohru is enough to annihilate her entire family.

"Oh, about that I wiped his memories." He casually said.

"Oh I see- wait what?" Chiyo's eyes widened as she heard him saying a direct and blunt answer, It was truly unexpected!

"So anything else?"

"W-wait! Let me think this is just too unexpected! I didn't expect you to answer it directly!" She said while touching her forehead.

"Take your time then." He shrugs, then a few minutes later, finally Chiyo spoke.

"Okay then, since you admitted that you had something to do with my bodyguard, why did you erase his memories anyway?"

"Why? Is that even a question? I mean It was him who went inside my property without permission, you should be thankful that I erased his memories, or else It would cause him permanent trauma after what he experienced." He replied.

"What did he..? Wait never mind, anyway I'm sorry about that. I didn't expect him to go inside your property without your consent." Chiyo bowed at him.

"Your apology is accepted, anyway you don't have to continue investigating me. I'm not hostile to your family, but if you insist I could become your enemy." He looked at her with a serious face, he was serious with his threat.

"....Sigh* Alright I'll do what you say, I don't want to make an enemy of a mysterious force, after all, we already have enough enemies to deal with, and adding another one isn't a wise choice." She said with a bitter smile.-

"That solves it then, by the way, mind if I ask? What exactly happened to Chō? I want a clear answer, don't lie, since It would be unfair if I'm the only one being honest, no?" He smiled at her.

Hearing that, Chiyo smiled wryly. "Hah...so that's why you answered me honestly huh? How sly of you! Alright, fine, but please promise me that you won't share this information with anyone." She said with a serious tone.

"I promise you." He nodded.

"Sigh~ I can't believe that I'm going to say this Information from an outsider..anyway where do I start." Then Chiyo started explaining.

Presently Kyle was on his way home with Nobu, he was thinking about the information that he had gotten from Chiyo, Nobu noticed this and said. "What are you thinking?"

"Hm? Well, some stuff."

"Tell me."

"Sorry, can't I promise not to tell It to anyone." He replied.

"...Now I'm curious, but I won't ask about it anymore. Promises are important after all."

"Wow Nobu, didn't know you value promises!" He smirked at her.

Nobu got annoyed and exclaimed. "Who do you think I am?!"

"The great demon king? A sly bastard that doesn't know how to keep promises? A black-hearted merchant?"

".....You wanna die?" Nobu releases a massive amount of bloodlust.

Everyone who was within a kilometer radius of them was shivering without knowing why but Kyle was an exception he wasn't affected by her bloodlust at all.

"I don't why would I want to die? Anyway, can you stop that bloodlust of yours? You're affecting anyone near us." He said.

"Like I care!" She replied with an annoyed tone,

"But I do, so stop!"

Glaring at him for a moment before stopping her bloodlust, then she said. "Hey, is that your impression of me? A sly and a black-hearted person?"

"Want me to be honest?" He said.

"Yeah."

"Well, no, that was nothing more than a tease. My impression of you is a little troublemaker, that can't be honest with her feelings and honestly, it's cute."

"Troublemaker? Really?" She said with an annoyed tone, however, there was a bit of a smile hanging on her face, It's just Kyle didn't notice it.

She was satisfied with his answer, so she let it be.

Both of them arrived at the mansion, as soon as they got inside, they were greeted by Kanna who immediately jumped toward Kyle hugging his waist.

"Welcome home!"

Kyle couldn't help but smile at this action of Kanna, It was too cute! He hugged her back and replied. "I'm back, Kanna."

Nobu complained and said, "OI, what about me?"

She was a bit jealous actually. She had never experienced being greeted by a hug ever since she became the head of the Oda clan, everyone was scheming against her, waiting for her to let her guard down, so she had to be cautious all the time, but ever since she came to this world she could say that she never felt so relaxed than before.

Kanna looked at her for a moment and ignored her and continued hugging Kyle. This action of Kanna made Nobu feel more annoyed than anything, she said. "What a stingy brat! Forget it! I completely lost my interest!"

Then she left them and went straight to her room, he couldn't help but smile wryly while looking at Nobu's disappearing figure and thought. 'Maybe, I should have hugged her?"

While Kanna was hugging him, suddenly a person approached them and immediately hugs his right arm.

"Rin?"

"U-um...ugh...W-welcome home!" Rin wanted to greet him too, she didn't want to be left out.

Hearing that he smiled at her and patted her head and said. "I'm back Rin."

Rin smiled brightly after hearing his response.

"No fair! I want to be patted too!"

"Right, Kanna there~ there~" Kanna made a satisfied expression after Kyle patted her head.

"I-i want to join too!"

"...?" All of them looked at the person who said those words.

It was Elma!

For a moment he didn't know what to say, but then Elma started to cry. "I-i can't?"

"No, no not at all! Come here!"

Without hesitation, she dashed toward the door and stared at him with anticipation. Kyle also patted her.
