My Unconventional Delivery System! Chapter 115

Emi was looking at Kyle who was floating mid-air with disbelief, it's wasn't because Kyle was floating above acting high and mighty, she wasn't an idiot she could tell that he is just using magic, however, she was in a state of disbelief because she could tell that he is a real God! Not a fake one.
The reason she could tell is that she was a half-angel, there is a faint of divinity in her blood, that's why she could sense it..his divinity!
This was her first time meeting a God! She honestly doesn't know what to do, however, she wondered how did this God become a friend of her arch-enemy Satan?! She wanted to know!
"I-i have a question for you!"
While floating mid-air he looked at her, to be honest, he wasn't expecting her to have any reaction, but still, he enjoyed looking at expression, because it's pretty amusing, he decided to stop using the light magic and levitation magic that he cast on himself because it was very uncomfortable being stared by his demon king friend, his gaze hurts.
"What question do you want to ask?" He replied.
"W-why is a God like you befriending someone like him!" She glared at Sadao, who was now looking at her with a relaxed expression, seeing his expression she had the urge to punch it repeatedly.
"But didn't I already say it?"
"B-but there must be some other reason right?"
"No, there isn't, I'll say it again, look I don't know what he did in your world, but I believe what I could see right now, Satan is a good man nothing more."
"A good man?! That bastard isn't! He is a cold-blooded monster that kills us, humans, without mercy! And you call him a good man?! What kind of God are you?!" Emi was clouded by her rage, she couldn't think straight if involves Satan, as she couldn't forgive him for what he did back in her world, if it wasn't for him her normal life wouldn't have been taken away from her, if Satan didn't exist her father wouldn't have died and because of Satan, she had come this far just to kill him! But! What exactly is she doing? Why couldn't kill him? This was her perfect opportunity since Satan is currently at his vulnerable time, why was she hesitating?

Of course, Kyle didn't know what she was thinking, however, he did see that Emi is presently making a complicated face her words and expression don't match at all, still... This was an opportunity to ask her a question, but before that, he answered. "What kind of God I am? Good question, I'm the God of Delivery, I'm not a God Of Goodness nor Justice, I'm also not a God Evil, I'm more like a neutral God, I do what humans do, make mistakes, do good, I'm not that different from you humans, but let me tell you one thing. I don't care what happened to your world it's not my business, and even if I did I can't change the past, now that I've answered your question now it's my time to ask you something.."
"For what reason did you hate Satan? Don't give me an answer like because he killed countless innocent human lives or whatever, for real even if he didn't want to conquer your world many of would die anyway."
"What do you mean many of us will die?" Instead of answering him, she asked him a question.
"Great, so it's my turn again...fine whatever okay then, death is natural however I didn't mean 'natural' deaths, look even if Satan didn't do anything, there is going to be a war not with demons, but with your kind human, the war for more wealth and power, do you believe that killing Satan would your make world peaceful? Nope, there is no way that's gonna happen, in the first besides Demons and Humans aren't that much different."
Emi wanted to deny but she couldn't because what he said was the fact, seeing that his words affected Emi, he asked. "Tell me, did that church of yours tell you to kill someone that isn't a demon? Don't ask a question this time."

After hesitating for a moment, she answered. "...Yes."
"See? I don't see the difference between you guys, I can imagine those so-called higher-ups from the church saying 'This person blah..blah is vile and evil, and God says you should kill this sinner' you can deny if I'm wrong."
Emi couldn't refute him, while both Alciel and Sadao didn't interrupt their conversation.
Acknowledging that he is right, he continued. "Since you didn't deny it, let me tell you a piece of advice, that was no God that was a person, a God doesn't ask to kill anyone."
He thought. 'Unless that God is from a Xianxia novel, then it might be possible.'
Emi was silent, this wasn't just her usually it would be her leading the conversation, but right now silence was the best option for her because the other party was stating facts.
"With that said, the individual that you are working for isn't God but the Church itself, basically you are working for those politicians that had a title of 'priest', it's laughable to think that they would forgive your sins even though they are more sinful than you." After that Emi stayed silent, she was already in a state of doubt, if it was another person who said the same thing to her, she wouldn't take it personally, however, the person who said that is a God!
So basically his words had more weight than anyone, after a few minutes of silence Sadao couldn't help but whisper to him. "Hey...I think you went too far...look at her she's in a great conflict right now!"
"Did I? No I didn't, she needed to know that fact, also if you're worried about her go talk to her."
"I might do that…" Sadao glanced at her, then as he shifted his gaze toward Kyle who was grinning at him.
Then he suddenly realized something, and he immediately said. "Wait no! It's not what you think it is!"
"Yeah, yeah like I believe you, anyway I'm rooting for both of you, my evaluation of her is good, although she's a bit hard to deal with she's fine, anyway it's getting late dude I'll be going home you go talk to her." After that, he immediately left them.
Sadao was already a few seconds late to stop him since he already vanished right beside him, so he could only look at Emi who was looking down at the floor, for some reason he felt a bit nervous facing her, he cursed Kyle inside his mind. 'This is his fault!'
Clearing his throat, he said. "Say..do you want a cup of coffee?"
Saying that successfully gained Emi's attention, she hesitated for a bit before saying. "Okay.."

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.

The FINAL Dungeon
A "young" unnamed gem, one blessed with the sentience required to regulate the world's mana, is suddenly thrust into the limelight when every other Dungeon is destroyed. Will its empowered abilities and wits be enough to survive a hostile world...? The Elder Goddess of Magic, Mystiq, is caught off-guard when an upstart New God decides he might be better for the job. With the destruction of much of her work, Mystiq is the weakest she has been in eons. Not all is lost, but if what is left cannot rise to the occasion... It might as well be. The Final Dungeon and its crippled Mother are forced to fight for their lives against a revolting pantheon, unhinged zealots, and the occasional adventurer. Do they even stand a chance? Would they… if they had a few extra chances…? ~ I've been on this site for a couple years now, and have wanted to get into some real writing for a while. Hopefully this goes alright. Time to stop dreaming, and time to start doing. ~
