My Unconventional Delivery System! Chapter 82

At enemy side:-
Inside a camping tent, a man in his forties was talking to Adrian, who was tapping his finger on the table.
"Lord Adrian! What are you waiting for?! Can't we just attack that damn castle directly?! What are you hesitating for?! They are on the losing side, and that's why they retreated, so what are you afraid of?" This man was the first and current general, since Adrian created the military system his ranking is Lord which is comparable to a prime minister in the modern era.
The general couldn't understand why Adrian was hesitating they were obviously on the winning side, yet why?
However he didn't dare to step out of the line, he was just merely stating facts after all Adrian had a higher rank than him.
Adrian didn't answer him and continued to tap his finger on the table in his mind. 'Was I wrong? Did Oda Nobunaga retreat because she knew that she couldn't win against us? No no, that's not the Nobunaga I know...but still…'
After thinking deeply about this matter, ultimately he stopped tapping his finger on the table and said. "Let's attack the castle."
"Great! With this decision Lord Adrian, we will surely win and conquer Japan!" The general excitedly spoke, he immediately went outside and ordered his subordinate to prepare to attack the castle.
As the general was gone, Adrian was feeling uneasy for some reason, he felt uncomfortable, however, he decided to shake off that bad feeling.
"Oda Nobunaga…today you'll fall." He stood up from his chair and went outside the camping tent.

At Oda Nobunaga's castle:-
Nobunaga was in a watchtower, she was using a telescope, from the moment that she figured how this item works, she was excited because this item is very useful especially when you're observing the enemies from afar

After a moment of looking around, suddenly a massive grin formed on her face, Kyle was just right next to her seeing this expression of her it was already obvious that the enemy had taken the bite.
"ALL OF YOU! GET YOUR GUNS READY! IT'S ALMOST TIME TO FUCK UP THESE GUYS!" Nobunaga shouted with excitement, she couldn't wait to blow her enemy's head off!
Hearing her, all of the soldiers who had a sniper with them, started to look at their scoops, getting ready to shoot any enemies who would be seen from their line of sight, however they would start shooting after their Lord permitted them.
Nobunaga also started using the sniper scoop, Kyle was doing the same and he waited for the right moment to shoot.
Although both Nobunaga and Kyle could see the enemy marching toward Nobunaga's castle, they didn't shoot yet because it would alarm the enemy.
Before they fire, they have to let the enemy get closer for at least 1-2 kilometer, as for their reason, it wasn't a big deal for them to shot at a distance more than that without actually missing, however, Nobunaga's soldiers had a high chance that they would miss if it isn't 1-2 kilometers closer.
So basically the closer the enemy is the higher chance that Nobunaga's soldiers would hit their enemy leading them to a total victory!
---
Adrian was riding a horse, while his soldiers were walking along with him toward Nobunaga's castle, to his regret, he couldn't replicate the car because he doesn't have sufficient knowledge regarding engines.
Although he couldn't make it for now, surely in the future he would succeed, however, what he didn't know that this day was his last day on earth.
Adrian was getting very uneasy as he was getting closer toward Nobunaga's castle, he couldn't shake off this feeling, along with tens of thousands of soldiers walking with him, he didn't feel safe at all!

It was like he was being exposed naked, he felt like someone was watching him from afar.
As they were getting closer, Adrian felt like the castle was strangely eerie and quiet, it was like it was abandoned but that is impossible, there is no way 1 night is enough for thousands of people to escape without being left unnoticed by him.
Adrian found this very suspicious, suddenly he noticed a red laser on his general, his expression was confused for a second, but then it quickly turned into disbelief!
From the corner of his memories, those lasers mean being pointed by a rifle! He had a lot of questions in his mind but it was useless at this moment, he instantly shouted. "TAKE COVER!!"
All of his subordinates looked at him with visible confusion on their faces, but before they could ask Adrian anything, they could hear a shout of a girl, though they could barely hear it, there was no doubt that they heard the word.
"FIRE!!"
At that moment, a dozen soldiers suddenly collapse! Not even a second has passed, another dozen soldiers collapsed once again!
They were no fool, they immediately got to know that they had been completely deceived!
"TAKE COVER! DON'T LET THOSE RED DOTS HIT YOU!" Adrian shouted.
Suddenly more and more gunshots were heard!
Bang! Bang! Bang! BANNGG!!
Adrian was about to retreat using his horse, however before it could run it suddenly collapsed as it was shot in its stomach!
As a result, Adrian fell along with it.
"Fuck! Fuck! Shit!" His right leg was stuck in the horse's body, while he was trying his best to pull out his leg, his mind was going crazy. 'How? How is this fucking possible?! Modern rifle in this era?! What the actual FUCK IS THIS?!'
His eyes were now bloodshot, after a moment of pulling his leg finally, his leg got out of the horse's huge body.
He slowly stood up from the ground, he looked around only to see his soldiers dying without doing anything!
Some of them even started firing their rifle randomly, as they couldn't see the enemy that shot the rest of their comrade.
--
At Nobunaga side:-
Nobunaga was laughing crazily, she was enjoying blasting the head off from her enemy. "Ahahaha! That blonde monkey head exploded like a watermelon!"
Her image was very different from before, this time she gives a feeling that she's a crazy psychopath that enjoys blasting people's heads off!
Seeing another side of her, Kyle wasn't even surprised anymore, he continued minding his business, he already killed several himself.
He was surprised by how calm he is in killing humans, this was his first time killing a human yet, he felt nothing killing them.
Kyle thought. 'Was I secretly a psychopath too? Normal people would hesitate to kill their own kind…'
While thinking that suddenly, an idea came into his mind, he thought. 'What if I enhance this Barrett firepower..not a bad idea let's do this.'
Kyle immediately cast a spell into his Barrett, it only took a moment to do so, and then he shot into a certain enemy mob.
BOOOM!
The entire body of the enemy scattered around the ground as his bullet hit the enemy's body.
"...What the hell is this Bazooka?"
"Woah! What was that?!" Nobunaga excitedly asked.
"...You better not ask."

The Priest of Genes
Meet Seth, acolyte in the Church of Virtue. He’ll be a Priest like his father soon, he just knows it. Sure he didn’t inherit his mother’s preaching power, but he doesn’t mind being the secondary priest at whatever temple he is assigned to. Just as long as he has a library. Meet this genetics textbook. Hmm, that doesn’t belong here. It must have come from somewhere far away, I guess something happened to its owner. I’m sure a studious young man who likes healing could go far with this information, whether he wants to or not. This is my first time really writing anything, so I hope you like it! Please let me know if I make any mistakes; I have a new R&D tech job at a genomics company, so I probably don’t edit as much as some people. I’m shooting for two thousand-ish word chapters released on Sundays, since none of the webnovels I read ever seem to update that day. Underserved Market! Genre is fantasy, possibly progression fantasy. Maybe a tiny bit litRPG if you wait a while and squint really hard, but that’s the most I’m prepared to claim. Hedged my bets on the content warnings, nothing that bad. Cover art from A. W. Gelman

Ira’s Faithful
[On Hiatus due to health reasons] Synopsis: Fate has plans for everyone. There are many paths one can walk and many nodes one can unlock. Yet all mortal souls only start with one node. This has been the case for many years and while there are some records of people with more than one first node, these are as rare as wings on snails, roses made of air, or ropes made of dragon-hair. Elise Anker has two first nodes. She doesn't know why and the only one that could answer is an angry voice in her head. She hears it rarely and the voice is as helpful as a sword is effective against a Leviathan. She strives to become a mage, a knight or maybe something else entirely. The future is uncertain and unless she finds out what her nodes mean, she will never know what she wants to become. But her nodes won't unlock and the angry voice tells her that she needs to find a worthy foe to kill. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. I am also not a professional author. This is simply a rough draft and therefore subject to change. Furthermore, this fiction is rather slow-paced for a rather long time. But compare it to a bundle of dynamite, you wouldn't want that to explode right in someone's face, would you? This is my first story to ever be posted. As I am an amateur writer, there shall be mistakes. More so with the fact that English is not my first language. This story is a re-write, and its original version was a request by a dear friend of mine. Though hopefully this version would be far better.. As the original version was a very cringe worthy thing. Many thanks to certain friends that have convinced me to post this. I shall do my best to at least update frequently, without sacrificing the.. quality of chapters. Tags will be added as the story goes on. || Disclaimer: Much of the chapters before Chapter Twelve are of poorer quality in terms of Grammar. So do forgive me for them, by Chapter Twelve and beyond however, the quality of the chapters should have had improved. I'm hopefully gonna fix most of the earlier chapters when I hit Chapter Twenty or Thirty.
