My Unconventional Delivery System! Chapter 41

Saturday Morning, Kobayashi Mansion :-
He woke up early, at exactly 6:30 AM. He had to, since he had to make preparations for his date. After the daily routine of brushing his teeth, he went out of his room, took a dip at the hot springs, getting himself refreshed, then re-entered his room to pick up something he could wear for this wonderful occasion.
On the day before yesterday, the day they went shopping for Kanna's supplies, he had bought a few kinds of outfit for himself, he was quite confident about his sense of fashion, he wasn't someone who wasn't able to distinguish between a good and bad outfit.
Naturally Tohru was also there with him, it made things easier for him, since he was ostensibly able to figure what type of outfit and style of clothing she would like him to wear, reality however had only disappointment ready for him.
Tohru apparently had zero common sense. She was fine with anything and everything as long as he was wearing it. To her as long as it was Kyle it looked good, period. This both relieved and disappointed him. Relieved because Tohru was an angel, liking him for who he was not for his appearance and also disappointed because he really wanted to wear something that made her eyes sparkle and fit her desires, which as it seemed would not be fulfilled. Since he couldn't trust her, he had to choose clothings of his preference instead.
And it had to be said, it was a great success, amongst the multitudes of outfits he tried, he brought only 3 of them, each having their own variety and styles.
Currently inside his room, he had finally chosen, what he thought to be, the perfect outfit for this occasion. He had factored in the location and overall atmosphere of his date to choose the outfit, and it turned out to be the most simplest one among the 3 options to choose from. It perfectly fit what he wanted to represent to Tohru, a normal and peaceful life.
A burgundy denim jacket with plain black T-shirt underneath them, it emphasized the color of the jacket, enhancing it with the plain black background the T-shirt provided. For the lower torso he went with ripped tight black jeans and a pair of black and white sneakers that had contrasting lines running along the sides of the shoes making it fashionable and fit with the rest of the outfit. He also wore a white leathered blackish smartwatch and black sunglasses. All in all, it gave him a casual suave look, without overshadowing the normalcy he was searching for as the theme of the date.
If it was his physique from before it wouldn't have been a great match, but now, with his body that could leave a greek Adonis to shame the abs and muscles all could be seen beneath the tight T-shirt and the broad shoulders emphasized the jacket giving it the perfect look all men would die to have. The abs clearly defined and roughly visible through the T-shirt was enough for every girl to drool for him. Alas, everything had exceptions, same was for his looks, some would remain unfazed by the nearly perfect physique he was showcasing and unfortunately Tohru happened to be one of them. She had a completely different point of view about these matters and for exactly that particular reason she was unique and fancied Kyle's heart and his desires.

She hadn't fallen in love with his looks, which after all of his transformation was still nowhere near her level of beauty, but she had fallen in love with Kyle, the man he was beneath everything, she loved him for what he was not what he looked. This was the epitome of what genuine love was all about and Tohru had reached well and beyond it.
It was for this reason that Kyle felt lucky to meet with Tohru, someone like her was unique and rare to come across. She in itself was a legendary grade artifact in terms of rarity if we had to draw a parallel conjecture that is.
Her thought patterns of not giving a damn about appearance, instead only being in love with the person itself was an exotic sight. Many would simply call it Bulshit, that a girl like her would only exist in one's dreams and fantasies, but the hard fact was that she did exist, right here, right now. And he was sure there were many like her, it was just that not many were lucky enough to meet someone like her, Kyle had lucked out in this department by a landslide, it also helped that said girl happened to be someone of the epitome of beauty, he really was blessed.
All the preparations done, Kyle left his room, thinking about waiting for Tohru to finish her preparation yet as he arrived in the living room what greeted his eyes was a fully ready Tohru waiting for him instead, naturally it gave him no small amount of shock which got amplified by infinity by her current appearance.
Just by looking at her he was frozen stiff, shellshocked. She was wearing a simple pure white summer dress with slight floral patterns at its sides, it was also backless, a dress he had figured out was nothing but the morphing of her scales, but still she looked absolutely gorgeous wearing it. She had also put up some light makeup on her face giving her a little rosey look. He had never in his entire life imagined that a simple backless summer dress and light makeup could make someone so ethereally beautiful yet also pull off the theme of mediocrity at the same time. It was mind numbing just how much beautiful she looked to him.
Her beauty had already went above and beyond any goddess he could meet he was sure of it, so enchanted was Kyle that he blubbered out his thoughts without even realizing. "My word! So... beautiful…"
Tohru clearly heard him, her cheeks flushed and dyed itself on the hues of pinkish red, her eyes sparkled with the themes of love and her pinkish red lips curled to form an enchanting smile, her heart throbbed, echoing the happiness she felt engulf her entire being. Never had she fathomed that being praised by the one you dearly love could feel so exhilarating.

For the first time in her life she felt glad, glad to come into existence, glad that the creator made this man in front of her, glad and thankful, even if it was only a bit, to the Gods who stabbed her. For because of all this events she was able to meet this man, the man standing in front of her looking so utterly handsome, the man she came to love with all her being. A shy mutter escaped her slightly trembling lips.
"Thank you.."
"Eh? Ah! Did I say it out loud? Haha… now this is a bit embarrassing."
"Mhm.. no I'm happy that you said it."
"Really? Then allow me to say it properly this time, Tohru you look absolutely stunning.. I hate to compare you, but Tohru you're always beautiful, always so very charming but now.. lord only knows how truthful it is but let me say.. you look absolutely gorgeous, so gorgeous I just can't keep my eyes off of you."
Tohru bit her lips, stopping it from trembling, her whole being was engulfed in a pleasant warmth, each word leaving Kyle's mouth did nothing but heighten the absolute joy and delight she was experiencing, her entire face from the base of her neck to the scalp of her hair blushed red in excitement, joy and love.
The atmosphere was amorous, love was on the air, but near them a pair of dead fish-like eyes was staring at them, their hues reflecting the annoyance its owner felt and it was still rising. "You guys… are you trying to make me jealous?! Go to your date now! You're making me, a single loser incomparably jealous! Damn normies! Go explode!"
It was Kobayashi San, thanks to her the atmosphere turned awkward, Kyle smiled wryly at his aunt. "Oba-san why are you angry? Wasn't this your plan in the first place?"
"So what?! Get out already! I can't stand watching you guys, anymore! Wuhuhuhu~" She cried, she simply threw a tantrum and started crying like a little girl; never in their dreams did they think that she would actually cry!
But Kyle noticed an anomaly, he approached his aunt and sniffed, the smell had answered his suspicions as he exclaimed. "Damn, Oba-san! First thing in the morning and you're drunk?!"
"Got a problem huh?!"
"Yeah! If you keep doing this you'll become a drunkard and waste person!"
"Hahh?! You! Come here I'll beat yer ass ya stinky brat!"
..
..
..
It took them a while to calm Kobayashi San down from her drunken tantrum mode, after that they left her alone with Kanna, it was fine leaving her with Kobayashi San since when it came to kids even if she was drunk she wouldn't do anything stupid. At most she would just dress Kanna up in a maid outfit and play with her, which was acceptable and Kanna would also have a good time roleplaying.
Outside the mansion, Kyle apologized to Tohru. "Sorry! I couldn't stop her.."
"No, why are you apologizing? It wasn't your fault, besides it's always funny to watch Kobayashi San's tantrums."
"Haha.." He could only laugh awkwardly at her jarring comment of his aunt.
Tohru glanced at him, acting with a bit of coy and expectations she slowly said. "So.. umm.. shall we start our date?"
Kyle nodded a confident smile on his face as he replied with affection. "With pleasure."

Yesterday Noon, Near the Girls' Dorm of Nango-Kuren High School :-
Ayane slowly opened her eyes, and found herself outside the entrance to the girls' dormitory.
"What- arghh!" She tried to stand up only to be kneel on one knee, grimacing from the pain she was feeling from her solar plexus. The pain was so severe that it was spreading to every nerve of her body, making her hard to breath, a few minutes later the pain subsided enough for her ability to think clearly return and she finally recalled what lead for her to become so heavily injured.
She was defeated gruesomely by that man within one blow! Just the thought of someone strong being in this school frightened her being. That rude sod was definitely much much stronger than Kagamiin Kyōka, the current ruling dragon, she was sure since even for her defeating Ayane in one blow was impossible, how could it not be in a match of speed she beat her in spades, yet she couldn't even see that man move, it was a testament to the power that person held, it was simply immeasurable!
Ayane clenched her fist, though she was defeated she wasn't the least bit frustrated, because she had finally found someone strong that wasn't a dragon.
"I will find that person, and I will do everything it takes to become his student, for he will be I, Asahina Ayane's master!" She declared with relentless determination, for her dreams, for protecting the weak she would do all that was required, no matter the consequences and she will surely achieve her dreams, for she had found her very own ray of hope.

A Titan's Crusade
Erik Thayne spent most of his life being brutally ridiculed and tormented for his weight and physical appearance, among other things. A social pariah and diagnosed with an eating disorder no one has an explanation or treatment for, Erik spent years trying to overcome his issues with his personal image and escape the ridicule and vicious torment of his peers. After years of dedicated effort, and a fresh start in a town away from his childhood and adolescent tormentors, he had finally begun to truly realize what he'd been striving for all along. Only, fate apparently has other plans because in the blink of an eye, Erik found himself snatched from Earth and taken to another universe, another world, where he is offered the chance to be more than he'd ever imagined. Now, he has to fight to restore the Balance between Chaos and Order on a world of swords and magic, in a universe governed by the System's laws, which resemble those of RPGs from Earth. Erik learned to embrace the things about himself that others taught him to hate, using them to reforge his physical identity into something more removed from his old self-loathing. But can he learn to embrace the darkest parts of his mind just as he did the reviled aspects of his body and become who he needs to be to succeed in the task set before him? It might just prove easier to stalk in the dark as a monster than to walk in the light as a man... *This is my first time publishing anything I've written to a public audience. Due to formatting issues, I forwent traditional stat-screens for something a little less problematic, delineating stat screens by separating them from regular text with horizontal lines in a lighter-grey coloration. Let me know if you like them or not. Criticism is entirely welcome, but please don't hate on my work after only reading 1 chapter. This is a writing project I intend to complete but I have committment problems so we'll see how long this goes on. Also, fair warning, as the description implies, the main protagonist is intended to be someone who has been treated cruelly, developed antisocial tendencies, and ultimately has to question his own humanity--or lack thereof. This story is not intended to be brutally dark but I will definitely be trying to follow a darker theme. It is intended to be violent and some scenes later in the story might be...alarming. There will likely also be some light, non-graphic (think more implied with crude jokes and conversation than actual details, there will be no full-blown sex scenes)relationship scenes planned later and if you're opposed to either a bisexual or gay main character, stay away. I haven't yet decided which way he's going to swing but the odds on him being straight are relatively miniscule, and I've always wanted to write a story about a gay man who basically looks like a lumberjack because who doesn't like giving conventional stereo-types the middle finger? This will NOT be a harem story, and I have no intention to focus on romance over action--it's a consequence of character development where I'm concerned, not the be-all-end-all of the story. The cover-art does not, in any way, belong to me. It was an image titled the Druid King (by duskanmarkovic according to the file name) which I found on Google Images. Until I can get something commissioned, this is the best stand-in image I could find.

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
