My Unconventional Delivery System! Chapter 30

"My, I didn't expect this truly! I thought for sure that you'd die with that injury that I inflicted onto you, too bad~, doesn't matter though, this time I'll be sure to devour you~!" Doma smiled happily as he waved his fan in a typical noble fashion, his emotionless tone mixed with his cheerful personality and gestures was as creepy as ever.
Shinobu and Kanae were enraged hearing his words, the ever present gentle expression on Kanae's face disappeared entirely. Her expression was one of rage and hatred; she swore she had never been so angry in the entirety of her life.
To think she was foolish enough to trust this scum, she couldn't believe that had she even pitied him, none of that mattered now however, for all of that laughable feelings she felt had now morphed into a chilling mixture of rage, anger, hatred and outrage, completely engulfing her heart and still growing by the second as he stared at this son of a b*tch's face!
Shinobu was as equally mad as her sister, if it weren't for Kyle-sama granting her wish, she didn't truly know what would've happened to her dear sister, no, she knew but the possibility of it still horrified her, she didn't want to recall it. But it was inevitable that her sister would've surely died.
If that were to happen she wouldn't be able to forgive herself, loathing the demon kind for the rest of her life.
Words couldn't describe the gratefulness she felt for Kyle, similarly words couldn't describe the negative ball of emotions swirling in her consciousness for this demon who came too close to the possibility of taking away the most precious person of her life. All of her being screamed, with the desire to kill this demon, but she knew that it was impossible to kill him with the two of them alone, their only hope I'm doing so would be prolonging this fight till sunrise.
For the first time in her life, she hated herself for being weak and helpless however if they were to survive until sunrise…
Definitely she will….
..
..
..
Kyle was looking at the live drama that was getting unfolded in front of him with amusement, he was very interested in this development.
If he had to be honest he couldn't understand himself at this moment, usually he would have been afraid of meeting an entity of the caliber of the Upper Moon Demon in front of him, presently however all he felt was amusement.
Did he perhaps gain confidence? Or was it the possibility that he knew he was safe, that Doma wasn't a threat compared to the entities he had interacted with before; he was interacting with daily to be exact.
He is living with two super strong existences, two chaos dragons, one was fanatically in love with him, the other was his cute little sister who admittedly thought of him as her world. He didn't know exactly how strong they were, he had no doubts however that a single breeze from them was enough to make Doma disappear from existence.
For now he wanted to see everything unfold, he would help them, that was fixed. But first, he wanted to see more of the interactions of this Upper Moon with the little girls.
..
..
..
"Both of you look so tense~ I don't mind though, it is amusing to see your tense faces~ ahahaha." He continued to look at them with his rainbow tinted eyes, Doma had actually noticed Kyle's presence from the start, his observant and calculative personality came into full play here.

According to his observations, Kyle was nothing but a weakling, hiding behind these two girls' back, he wasn't a threat just a simple human; he ignored him completely, much more interested in the Demon Slayer girls instead of a weak Normie.
That was his mistake though, and it would only cause his doom.
Kanae was calming herself, preparing herself to battle with the demon, it was a pity however that she couldn't use her full strength otherwise there would've been a slight chance of her being able to defeat Doma.
But there were no 'ifs' in reality. What she could do now, was to just try and hold the demon back till sunrise, which was only an hour away, if she was able to last just 1 more hour it would be considered her win; whether she would still be alive after winning was simply another matter altogether.
Kanae glanced at her sister, she knew in her heart that it was rude to be thinking about this, the direness of the situation had forced her to, she was certain her sister would be useless in the upcoming confrontation and if she participated in the fight, would only drag her down and limit the chances of their survival further.
Shinobu as she was now was incomparable to her in terms of strength and even battle experience... she would be grateful if Shinobu just ran away with Kyle, her chances of survival would heighten slightly if that were to happen.
Kanae knew her sister though, she knew that Shinobu would never abandon her and run, after all it was her who knew her personality the most and knowing her decision made her equally happy and sad.
A deep sigh echoed in her heart as she thought of what to do 'It seems that I have no choice but to use that technique. The Final Form of Flower Breathing: Equinoctial Vermilion Eye, it's a very dangerous technique with a staggering price, but I have no other choice. Whatever, if it means that by blinding myself Shinobu would have a better chance of survival, then I'd happily do it.'
Firm and decisive with her actions, she started putting all the concentration she could muster in activating said technique, blood from all over her body rushed to her eyes, blood vessels popping around them and dying the area around her eyes in a slight reddish hue.
Soon, she opened her eyes, the world as she knew it had changed. The colorful world turned into one of monochrome, everything was in the shades of black and white, everything had stopped. She could now see the dust particles in the air ever so slowly drifting on their paths, could feel the faint vibrations in the breeze, the slightest twitches of Doma's muscles. The world had almost come to a halt for her, time seemed to have stopped. At this state her reaction speed and vision had reached 100x her normal capacity; meaning everything was 100x slower for her and the details were that much more defined.
Pain, the only feeling she felt now, the only feeling she could afford to feel amongst many, which she would've also discarded but her eyes hurt too much to ignore so she tried her best to bear with it, at least till she could defeat the demon in front.
Each moment spent using this technique was destroying her eyes, blinding her gradually. At most in a minute the world as she saw it will never be able to be seen by her again.
Doma noticed the change in Kanae, his interests growing by the second. He had not seen that technique in their previous bout.

"Oh~? This is new; what technique is thi-" Before Doma could finish his jests, a Katana inches away from his neck with the will and power as well as intentions to slice it off of his head had arrived.
Doma immediately dodged this, using his insane reflexes and speed, but he wasn't able to leave unscathed as a small nick still appeared on the left side of his neck. It would've been painful were it not for Doma's complete aversion and even slight enjoyment of being inflicted pain.
"My~ that was close! You almost beheaded me~! Too bad.. that was your only chance~ now it's my turn!" Cheerfully smiling at Kanae, still going on with his emotional pretences, Doma used his blood art to generate ice and frost from his blood and flesh.
Waving his fan he shaped his ice art into several lances and spears made of ice directing them towards Kanae's body, the weapons directed going to Shinobu in a stupidly fast speed.
Kanae knew the attacks were too hard for her to dodge, so she simply sliced them apart using her Katana while simultaneously dodging the ones she didn't have the time to slice.
Their bouts of attacks and counterattacks continued while on the audiences side, Shinobu and Kyle just realized that they had already started fighting.
Shinobu couldn't see anything other than two vanishing figures moving instantly, Kyle however could see them albeit barely most of the moves were blinks of their attacks every millisecond, his eyes hurt as he was concentrating like that.
They were simply too fast! Only a mere second had passed since they started their fight, a hundred exchanges however, had already occured in that limited time.
Shinobu had come to terms with the fact that she was useless ast this point. She would just be a burden if she were to even try to join a fight of this level. She was keen and had noticed the intentions of her elder sister; that she was showing her the gap between them and that she should run and let her elder sister fight in peace for them to have a better chance at survival.
She bit her lips out of frustration, hating every second of her being weak, she couldn't help her sister, she couldn't do anything she couldn't even be a distraction without distracting her sister too.
As the helplessness of the situation was eating away her soul a hand powerful and soothing was placed on her head, patting it, consoling her. She placed her gaze on the wielder of said hand.
It was obviously Kyle, she was a bit confused of his intentions. "K-kyle-sama? W-what are you..?"
Kyle glanced at the little Shinobu, smiling at her he spoke the words of reassurance that she so much needed. "Don't worry, your onii-san will take care of this, so stop deprecating yourself and cheer up okay?"
"W-w-what are you saying?" Even though she said that, Kyle didn't fail to notice the expectations hidden deep in her tone, Shinobu believed Kyle to be God, so the tone of her voice was nothing unusual.
"You'll see, it's better to see it with your own eyes rather than me explaining it." He stopped patting Shinobu and slowly approached Kanae and Doma, still going on with their super sonic speed fight.
They had different emotions riddling them, one desperate for survival, the other simply having the best fun of his life.
Kyle had already stepped inside their fighting zone, both of them had noticed his presence, Kanae was surprised, she had never thought of even the possibility of Kyle approaching them as they fought.
She didn't know Kyle's capabilities; she was both worried and hopeful that he could at least help her with this. She also believed him to be God after all.
Meanwhile Doma was annoyed at his presence, as he thought the weakling was interrupting his fun. "Awh~ what a bother I should kill him first for daring to interrupt my fight."
Doma moved in flash fully utilising his extreme speed, he was moving Kyle's spot and observed him for a bit, he was disappointed to find out that Kyle hadn't even seen him move. 'As expected, he is just an ordinary human… how boring... whatever I'm going to take his heart away from him so that he slowly suffers as he dies. Hehe~ an avid punishment for interrupting my enjoyment.'
Kanae also noticed this and all of her hope went down the drain, she thought that he might be a God but he was as weak as an ordinary human, she focused her breath, strengthening her legs and hoped that she could at least reach his location so that she could stop Doma's attack!
But it was impossible, it was already too late she could only, in agony, watch Doma take his life.
Doma's sharp claw was about to reach for Kyle's heart. 'With this... you're dead.'
As the claws were about to reach for his heart a bizzare phenomenon occured, his claws simply stopped moving and stopped near his jacket. An invisible interference was blocking his attack.
His sharp claws clashing with the invisible interference resulted in them breaking along with the bones of his hand.
Crack~ creeek~ Crack~!
His right hand was dislocated in a weird way, shocking him. More weird was the fact that he had felt an emotion. Dona believed himself to have no emotions but for the first time he felt something, and it wasn't a pleasant emotion!
"Wha-?!" Suddenly he noticed that Kyle was on fact looking at him now, he had a massive grin on his face. Doma had realised that he had been played, this human he thought of to be weakling had schemed him into attacking making him believe that he hadn't notice him move.
Infuriating words registered in Doma's brain. "I was waiting for this, you're dead you stupid f*cker!"
Before Doma could process what he meant, Kyle's fist was already connected to his abdomen shocking him further since he hadn't even saw him moving due to his initial shock, and words he didn't know was the last ones he would be hearing in his long life. "Next time, a word of advice, don't underestimate someone, well you won't be having it anyways, goodbye you son of a b*tch."
SPPPAAATTTT!!
Doma's entire body was destroyed from existence leaving only blood splattering on the ground. The scene shocked the girls, hardly could they believe what they witnessed…!
There is no human capable of doing such a thing, only a God could do it! This cemented their conviction. They were now completely sure that Kyle was no mortal but a God! A genuine God!
Shinobu was staring at Kyle with awe and excitement. "I knew it! I knew that he was a God!"
"Yes...he is truly God…" Kanae agreed with her sister, after witnessing the Upper Moon Demon turning into blood splatter like that!
This action made both the Kochō sisters into fanatic believers of Kyle! They misunderstood him as a God.
Kyle himself wasn't aware that in the near future, he would have thousands of believers and would have a religion of himself.

The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
