Why were they addressing Master Shen as the Lady Phoenix? And what was Tianfeng Nation? How could it be that she had never heard these things before?

General Zuo glanced at Shi Yiqing and Chen Xinyi and with a roll of his eyeballs, said, “Since you are friends of Lady Phoenix, then please come to Tianfeng Nation as guests.”
If she had friends with her, she would have pressure points, and His Majesty would have better control over Lady Phoenix.
“They are not my friends.” Feng Tianlan’s gaze swept past General Zuo coldly as if she could see through his mind.
General Zuo felt that her icy cold gaze was very oppressive but he quickly accustomed himself to quickly. “His Majesty wants to welcome these people from the neighboring countries as guests. Also, Lady Phoenix cannot participate in political affairs.”
In other words, no matter if they were Feng Tianlan’s friends or not, as long as His Majesty invited them, she had no right to interfere.
Feng Tianlan looked at him coldly, then turned to Shi Yiqing. “Take Chen Xinyi away from here, go back to Xi Yuan Nation.”
If they went to Tianfeng Nation, only danger awaited them.
“You… Are you really Feng Tianlan?” Shi Yiqing did not seem to hear her words and continued looking at her in shock. Except for that pair of phoenix eyes which looked like Feng Tianlan’s, everything else on this face belonged to a man. How could she be Feng Tianlan?

Feng Tianlan raised her eyes and interrupted General Zuo’s words coldly, “Isn’t the Lady Phoenix merely a puppet, an inferior existence compared to the general? If that is the case, then I don’t want to be your Lady Phoenix. You can just find whoever you like to fill the role.”

General Zuo saw that Feng Tianlan was obviously determined not to comply if he did not listen to her. This feeling of being threatened by a girl made General Zuo hate her a little more, but he could only grit his teeth and snort, “You two can do as you please.”
“No, I want to go.” Chen Xinyi said loudly. She raised her eyes, which were still full of love, to look at Feng Tianlan. “I have never heard of the Tianfeng Nation, nor the Lady Phoenix, so I want to go to take a look.”
This was all because she refused to believe that Shen Lan was a woman. She must have annoyed Shen Lan to make him deliberately act in such a way to make her give up!
As long as there was no conclusive evidence to prove that Shen Lan was a woman, she would not give up—never!
