Chapter 1188: Taking Feng Tianlan Back To Tianfeng Nation 1
Xi Jin looked up at the drawing of them walking away from each other at the wedding and the gardenia jade hairpin breaking into half. Then, he looked at the picture of them looking at each other from afar on either side of the Bridge of Helplessness. He hugged himself tightly, his voice trembling, “It’s worth it!”
As long as she’s well and happy, everything would be worth it!
The State Preceptor said nothing and just stared at the drawing with him. He watched as Xi Jin continued to shiver from the backlash of forcefully creating an illusion that showed the future. His eyes darkened so no one would know what he was thinking about.
…
Si Mobai and Feng Tianlan fully recovered after resting in the Earth Soul Pagoda for three days. They left the place and thought that the training will continue. But when they went through the door, they realized that they were already outside the pagoda.
There were a group of people waiting outside the pagoda. Their eyes widened when they saw the couple walking out. They immediately knelt down. “Greetings, Lady Phoenix.”
Feng Tianlan frowned and turned to look at Si Mobai.
“Something’s going on at the Bailan Alliance. I have to go back now, be careful.” Si Mobai looked up at the signal flare in the sky. It looked really urgent. It was a signal flare that hadn’t been used since he established the Bailan Alliance.
Seeing this signal, he would probably have to prepare for the worst. Although Lan’er was important, his many subordinates at the Bailan Alliance were equally important.
Looking at Si Mobai’s dark expression, she nodded her head lightly. “Alright, go quickly.”
Si Mobai immediately teleported because it was an urgent matter that required his immediate attention.

“Master Shen.” Chen Xinyi still didn’t know why those people were calling her that. However, she stepped forward immediately, concerned. “Were you hurt? Are you feeling alright?”
“Xinyi, I’ve already told you that he’s a heartless man. He didn’t even care when you got injured saving him. Why are you still so concerned about him?” Shi Yiqing really hated seeing Chen Xinyi like this!
He had told her all about how heartless Shen Lan had been, hoping that she would give up, but it hadn’t worked at all.
Chen Xinyi looked at the handsome young man in front of her with love in her eyes. “No way, Master Shen is not someone like that.”
Feng Tianlan darted a look at him. She also looked at Ji You who was walking towards her, then, at the people behind him. She frowned. “Who are these people?”
“Tianfeng Nation sent their men to escort you back,” Ji You explained with a straight face. He had waited there for two days and saw the men coming from Tianfeng Nation. They surrounded the Earth Soul Pagoda, waiting to escort her back to the Nation.
General Zuo had an unnatural smile on his face as he greeted her with his hands clasped together in front of him. “Lady Phoenix. Please return to the Nation. Her Majesty is still waiting for you.”
“If you don’t want to go back, I can help you with that,” Ji You, who stood guard beside Feng Tianlan, said in a low voice.

Gu Yang stepped forward and shielded her too. “As your grandfather, I can protect you too.”
He hadn’t managed to protect his precious daughter last time. Now, he was only left with this granddaughter, so he would protect her no matter what.

Feng Tianlan looked at the people brought by General Zuo. Not including those stationed around the Earth Soul Pagoda, there were at least twenty to thirty men with him and they were all of the God Supreme level. They were definitely not there to escort her but to forcefully take her back.
But since it was her intention to go to the Tianfeng Nation, it was even better that there was someone to take her there.
“It’s alright. I was thinking of visiting Tianfeng Nation too.” The corners of Feng Tianlan’s lips curled up slightly, suddenly revealing an imposing demeanor. It was so intimidating that everyone around her drew in a sharp breath.
