“Can’t bear to leave your husband now?” Si Mobai looked down at Feng Tianlan. She was hugging his waist, looking at him longingly, obviously reluctant to part with him. The look in her eyes made his heart flutter.

The more Feng Tianlan looked at him, the more reluctant she was to part with him. Si Mobai touched his cheek which ached a little from the kiss and watched Feng Tianlan trotting downstairs. He laughed indulgently. This side of Lan’er really resembled that of a little girl—a little happy girl.
He turned to the window and waited until Feng Tianlan had left before he flipped out of the window and followed her secretly. He wanted to see her off like this and look at her for a while more.
Upon stepping outside of the doors of the United Mercenary Regiment, Feng Tianlan seemed to sense Si Mobai’s presence. She looked around and the corners of her lips curled up. Although she could not bear to part with Mobai, just thinking about him filled her with happiness. She believed one year would pass very quickly.

When she arrived at the gathering place, Deng Hu, who had successfully attained the Water Spiritual Pill and thus could not hide his joy, quickly came over as well. He glanced at the crowd but did not see Feng Tianlan and was a little bit disappointed. He thought that if he could not figure it out, he could ask her, but she did not even turn up.
