Feng Tianlan laughed gently and replied, “Not interested.”
Whether she won or lost this competition, only Deng Hu stood to gain from it. Why should she compete in a pill-making battle?
“Not interested?” Deng Hu scoffed. “I see, so you are scared after all. Even though you were boasting about your skills earlier, you have nothing to say now that I have proposed a competition.”
“I only said that I am not interested in becoming your disciple,” Feng Tianlan rebutted lightly. She had the Pill Scroll Azurite, so no one was good enough to be her master in the field of pill refinement.
Deng Hu was so incensed by Feng Tianlan’s words that he started to feel his blood boil. He glared at Feng Tianlan furiously. ” How conceited of you! You are actually scared of competing but you are trying to agitate me. Since you are such a coward, why don’t you give up and accept your death instead of relying on a man to protect you.”
In Deng Hu’s eyes, Feng Tianlan was exaggerating herself and boasting about her skills. How could she have any real abilities when Shen Qingdai was a famous Good For Nothing. This was not something that could be altered in a short time. Even if she had been reborn, this truth could not be changed!
“In that case, let’s compete.” Feng Tian lifted her eyes to look at Si Mobai, her lips curved into a light smile.
Deng Hu sniggered and looked at Si Mobai. “Demon King, she has already agreed to this battle. Whether she wins or loses, you must not interfere.”
If Feng Tianlan were to lose, the Demon King could not say anything even if he killed her.
“That’s right. However, this competition is slightly unfair.” Si Mobai lifted his icy cold gaze and spoke softly, “No one has the right to be her master. Therefore, if she wins, the condition must be changed.”

“Then, if she wins, my disciple will become her disciple.” Deng Hu announced without hesitation. Because to him, Feng Tianlan did not stand a chance of winning.
Even though he heard that Feng Tianlan possessed a rather strong Spiritual Force, that did not mean she was good at making pills. What was there for him to fear?
“She does not like trouble.” Si Mobai looked up at Deng Hu and curved his lips lightly as if he was bored. ” A predictable ending makes this bet very uninteresting. In the end, don’t blame my Lan’er for bullying you with her pill refinement talents!”

Upon hearing his words, Feng Tianlan laughed gently. Not only did Mobai have confidence in her, but he also did not hold himself back from bullying others with his words.
