Xi Jin nodded while clenching his fists softly. He was extremely nervous. “If my father really did anything, I will pay on his behalf. That way, Lin’er didn’t have to be in a difficult spot too.”
Both Lin’er and her wouldn’t have to be in difficult positions and the feud between their families would be resolved.
