Hiding in the dark, Si Mobai watched Feng Tianlan standing sadly in the courtyard and calling out his name . It made his heart ache immensely . He wanted to show himself to her very badly, but at the thought of how she had used their relationship to threaten him over Xi Jin, he felt angry inside .

He wanted her to know how the heartache and panic felt when their relationship was being threatened .

When she understood, he would come out again in order to make her learn how to behave and that she could not threaten him in such a way again . Although he was cold, his heart was still human and warm . It could be hurt and chilled when being threatened in such a way .

When she did not find Si Mobai in Si Feng Pavilion, Feng Tianlan went to all the places in Bailan Alliance that he might go . But as she went and asked everyone one by one, she found that no one was aware of Si Mobai’s whereabouts . And she did not see his figure at all .

Si Mobai felt his heart ache as he watched her run around breathlessly and drenched in sweat . He suddenly blamed himself . Knowing that she was physically unwell, he still fought with her over this . She had to be very anxious .

Just as he was about to appear in front of her, Feng Tianlan’s angry voice rang out, “B*stard! Go away and don’t come back . As if I care . ”

She had not fainted because she was physically weak . She deliberately did it . He was so worried that he blamed himself . He thought that he should not hide and let her run around in an unwell and weakened state . But instead, she had lied to him in order to lure him out .

Feng Tianlan pouted and said, “How long would you have hidden for otherwise?”

Si Mobai turned his head away and snorted, “I came back because I had a matter to attend to . I just happened to see you faint, so I came out . ”

Seeing how duplicitous he was being, Feng Tianlan suppressed her smile and said, “Is that so?”

Si Mobai snorted again and refused to look at her .

Feng Tianlan looked at the big hands holding both sides of her waist . The corners of her lips crept up as she put her hand to her temples and weakly said, “Mobai, I’m… a little dizzy . ” Then she abruptly fell down from her perch sitting on top of him .
