“Imperial brother, did you hear that? She doesn’t want to get married to you . You don’t have to aggrieve yourself and marry someone you don’t like for Dai’er anymore . ” Xi Lin held Xi Jin’s wrist . She felt a sense of relief as they had finally managed to stop this wedding .
Xi Jin looked at Shen Yunya, who had her eyes shut and was crying . “Ya’er . Are you really canceling this wedding?” he asked .
“Yes, I am canceling it . ” Shen Yunya didn’t dare to raise her head and look at Xi Jin . Whenever she looked at him, she couldn’t help but feel the urge to have a showdown with Shen Qingdai . However, if Shen Qingdai were to reveal the truth, it would be impossible for them to get married for the rest of their lives .
It was better for her to give in for now . She could get married to Brother Jin once she killed Shen Qingdai once again .
Xi Jin smiled in relief . “That’s good . We don’t have to make things difficult for ourselves anymore . I believe Dai’er would understand in the netherworld . ”
Since he didn’t have to marry Ya’er, he could finally fulfill his wish of not marrying anyone other than Dai’er . He could finally face her .
Shen Yunya lowered her head and bit her lips to prevent herself from crying . She wasn’t putting herself in a difficult position at all . She really wanted to get married to him . However, even though everything was within reach, it was all ruined by Shen Qingdai .
Xi Jin looked at the guests who all breathed a sigh of relief and then said in an apologetic tone, “I am sorry to let everyone see such a joke . Today’s wedding is canceled…”
After Xi Jin made some official statements to appease the guests, he started dismissing them .

After appeasing the guests, Xi Jin felt rather unwell . He turned around and walked toward his bedroom . He was quite satisfied with such an outcome . He didn’t have to marry Ya’er . Therefore he still was allowed to love Dai’er . Right?
Xi Lin felt sad when she saw that the two of them had left in completely opposite directions . Why must they meet the wrong person at the right time? Why couldn’t they just meet the right person at the right time?
As Xi Lin was looking at Xi Jin, she saw him suddenly collapse . She then shouted in shock, “Imperial brother!”

Traumatising content. I dunno. No NTR, no heartbreaking drama. However, some of you may dislike the way I handle bodies and flesh. Got some feedback about body horror on my previous works, but everyone as a different border separating transhumanism and body horror. Mine is pretty high. How high? To put it in simple term, I've no problem at all to describe alien bodies, change in human bodies, interactions between differents strange species etc. Expect a lot of tentacle, bio-incubator, spawning pool à la zerg.
