Everyone was dumbfounded by what she had done . An uproar broke out once more .
“She killed the imperial eunuch and burnt the queen’s phoenix sedan! This is a premonition of her destruction of the Beiqi Nation!”
“How presumptuous and arrogant! Killing the Beiqi people and burning our phoenix sedan! This is obviously provocation!”
“We must not let her get her way! We must kill this demon lady before she ruins our nation! We must kill this fickle seductress who forced the emperor to announce such frivolous things publicly . ”

The crowd grew more enraged at the sound of these words and they joined in and shouted along angrily . Some who had eggs in their hands began throwing them at Feng Tianlan .
Azurite raised her hand and threw the eggs back . One hit someone in the face . However, such an act made the crowd even angrier . The shouting grew louder and louder . The things thrown at them changed from eggs and vegetables to rocks . Some even threw knives . However, Azurite deflected all of them cleverly .
“Shut up!”
A voice that was hard as ice hit struck suddenly . The piercing chill of it made the noisy bystanders close their mouths subconsciously . They looked at Feng Tianlan who stared at them coldly . Although her phoenix eyes were horrifyingly cold, at that moment, they could see the burning anger in her eyes .
Instantly, silence filled the air . After realizing things were not going the way they were supposed to, the ones who instigated the uproar looked at one another, then started shouting again, “She is the demon lady who brought a nation to ruin! She wants to destroy our Beiqi Nation and the South Winds Nation! We must not let her live!”

“She is a fickle seductress! She forced the emperor to declare these frivolous things in public . She seduced the emperor and wants to destroy the Beiqi Nation . She should be killed!”
“Everyone! We must kill her . We must not let her destroy the Beiqi Nation and our homes!”

It seemed like this had been planned beforehand . The aggressive voices sprang up among the crowd in different places at the same time, making the quiet atmosphere turn rowdy once more . The anger of the crowd was raised to a whole new level!
Protecting their nation and their way of life were the commoners’ trigger points, especially if it concerned their homes . Therefore, they raised a clamor about wanting to kill Feng Tianlan . The things thrown from the crowd kept increasing . They threw whatever they could get their hands on .
In response to these aggressive voices, Feng Tianlan and Azurite jumped into the air .
“Stop them! Don’t let the demon lady escape!” someone shouted .
Feng Tianlan looked down at the angry commoners from mid-air . She sneered as she dived downwards .
“Ah, the demon lady is going to kill someone! She is going to start destroying our nation!” another man screamed .
Feng Tianlan and Azurite dived downwards and caught one of the people instigating the uproar . She made another jump into the air, staring down at the crowd .
That man she caught struggled as he threatened her, “Let me go! If you kill one of us, tens of thousands of the Beiqi people will kill you! You won’t escape, you demon lady, you destroyer of countries!”
“Demon lady who destroy countries?” Feng Tianlan raised her eyebrow slightly . She glanced at the commoners below as if they were ants . Her lip curled slightly and she sneered, “I don’t mind signing my name on this beautiful crime . ”
After she spoke, icicles immediately formed over her hand . With just a gentle stroke, the man who was still cursing and struggling widened his eyes and clutched at his throat . Blood spurted out of his neck like a fountain . Drops of blood rained over the crowd .
