Gu Yun heard the sounds coming from within the bedroom even outside the palace . She thought about the dirty things that the Beiqi Emperor was doing to her portrait . It made her stomach churn and made her feel like vomiting!
Gu Yun’s eyes turned red in anger . Feng Tianlan, I will definitely make you pay for this!
After that incident, the Beiqi Emperor was satisfied, but he also seemed much emptier inside . He carried the painting to the royal study . He stared at Gu Yun who was dressed in red as she stood with her hands by her side . Under the sunlight, her side profile looked like Feng Tianlan’s had the day she left .
He realized for the first time that Yun’er had similar features to Feng Tianlan . Besides, why was he suddenly thinking that this portrait looked like Yun’er?
“Father . ” Gu Yun raised her head and looked at the Beiqi Emperor . She frowned in disgust then returned back to normal right after .
Looking at Gu Yun who was smiling faintly, the Beiqi Emperor suddenly regained his senses . She was no match for Feng Tianlan . She was only a little similar to her, but she couldn’t be compared to her . One was the moon in the sky while the other was its reflection in the lake . They were similar but they couldn’t be compared to one another .
“What did you want to discuss with me?” The Beiqi Emperor sat down, hugging the painting like it was his treasure . He thought about the scene just now . He already felt such a strong craving just by looking at her painting . If it was her in the flesh, he would definitely ascend into the sky .
“I am here to help father make Feng Tianlan your concubine . ”

“Huh?” The Beiqi Emperor looked at her . He was suddenly worried again . “No . ”
He only dared to imagine it; however, he didn’t dare to actually do it . First of all, Feng Tianlan would not agree to that . Secondly, she was the woman that the King was looking for . Even though he had asked Yun’er to pose as her, he still didn’t dare to do it .
“If you want things to remain this way, Father will just have to keep hugging that painting . I will take my leave . ” Gu Yun called him a coward in her heart, turned around and left .
The Beiqi Emperor lowered his head and looked at the painting . He remembered the most euphoric feeling he ever had in his entire life just now . He couldn’t help but call out to her, “Wait . ”
“Father?” Gu Yun turned around . There was an unnoticeable smirk on her face .
“Let me think . Just let me think again . ” The Beiqi Emperor unfolded the painting he was hugging . Staring at that enchanting figure and the snow-white skin, he couldn’t help but think about that wonderful taste he had .
Gu Yun’s stomach churned once more at the sight of the Beiqi Emperor’s gaze on the painting . She stepped forward and said . “I know what Father is worried about . You told me that under the cover of the force field, Guiyuan Continent and Xuantian Continent are temporary shut off from one another . The King has no way of coming over from the Xuantian Continent for now . When he is able to come over, it will be a year or so later . By then, what’s lost is lost for Feng Tianlan . What is there for you to worry about?”
“But—” When she mentioned about the King, the Beiqi Emperor calmed down a bit . His worries were reduced as well . The woman in the painting was tempestuously charming once more under his hand .

He suddenly had the thought that he was willing to die for this alluring beauty .
Gu Yun held back the urge to personally tear the painting apart . She continued, “Even if the King realizes that Feng Tianlan is the one he is looking for, why would he still want an impure woman who was unfaithful and cuckolded him?”
The Beiqi Emperor was slightly moved .
“Father, we will kill her sooner or later . Instead of letting her die like this and get suspected by the King, why not ruin her image before she dies . That way, when she is dead, the King won’t look into the death of his fickle lover . ”
After hearing these words, the Beiqi Emperor’s worries were completely stripped away . He grabbed the painting tightly . “Alright, it’s settled . I will make her my concubine, my imperial noble consort!”
Gu Yun was right . Feng Tianlan was someone who would die sooner or later . Therefore, they shouldn’t waste this chance . If he could get to her before she was dead, it would be great!
