The man wore a purple gold robe and had a devious but charming demeanor . When he looked up, Feng Tianlan frowned . “Why can’t I see his face clearly?”

The face of the man before her seemed to be covered by a thick layer of mist so that she could only make out the silhouette of his face . Even so, she could tell that he was a handsome man .

“Yun’er,” the man called out gently, looking at her . However, he walked straight through Feng Tianlan’s body .

Was she an invisible observer of a scene from another world or was she actually dreaming?

The man walked past her and climbed up the staircase slowly . After some thought, Feng Tianlan decided to follow him . She watched the two as if she was watching a play . Even though she was standing very near to the lady, she could not see her face either .

“You really want to exchange me for that thing?” The lady turned around and looked at the man, her voice full of bitterness but also some desperate hope .

The man extended his hands and reached out to hug her, but she avoided him . His hands froze in mid-air for a moment before he retracted them . His voice was not angry . “Yun’er, I will come and bring you home . ”

The lady laughed coldly and said with sarcasm, “Between me and the world, you would choose the world every time . ”

From these words, Feng Tianlan sensed the bitterness in the lady’s heart and heard the sound of heartbreak, so much so that even she felt depressed .
