Si Mobai felt the change in Feng Tianlan and tightened his grip around her hand in concern before he lifted his eyes to glare at Jiang Ying coldly .
Jiang Ying felt the man’s gaze directed at him cold as a flower of blood, and he could not help but shiver and awaken from his stunned staring at her . He called out politely, “Master Si, Miss Feng . ”
“Let’s go . ” Feng Tianlan turned from him e and walked into the next room without looking at him again .
Ever since she fell in love with Si Mobai, she no longer harbored as much hatred for Jiang Ying as she did before . Only a disdain for him that made her want to rip off his skin remained . As such, she was in better control over her emotions after seeing him, compared to when she saw Shen Yunya .
Jiang Ying watched the couple enter the room, unable to turn his eyes away . Feng Tianlan was such a beautiful woman, though unfortunately, a cold and detached one .
Such an icy attitude, how could she be Shen Qingdai who, despite having a pretty face, was only a good-for-nothing with no strengths . But since Ya’er was still worried, he was determined to find a chance to speak to Feng Tianlan on his own .
The group had finished packing their belongings and coincidently met Xiao Qing, who was resting in mid-air, on their way out . At the sight of Feng Tianlan, Xiao Qing immediately made loud sounds of excitement and appeared to want to lower its head and receive affection or cuddles from her .
However, after receiving a stern stare from Feng Tianlan in return, Xiao Qing immediately recoiled its neck, although it continued to call out in excitement .

“Sister, your injuries, have they recovered?” At this moment, Tu Xiupei also walked out . Beside her stood Xi Jin . Shen Yunya and Jiang Ying followed behind them .
Xi Jin noticed how Xiao Qing was calling out in joy and could not help but think that Pei’er was indeed Dai’er . If not, why would Xiao Qing be so elated at the sight of her?
Seeing Shen Yunya again made Feng Tianlan’s heart palpitate anxiously . She was tense with worry that Shen Yunya would confirm that she was Shen Qingdai because of Xiao Qing’s attitude towards her .
“Xiao Qing is so happy today . It must be because it has seen Elder Sister . ” Shen Yunya’s gaze fell upon Tu Xiupei and Feng Tianlan as she said these words . Since Xiao Qing would be able to recognize its owner, it was important to see towards whom it harbored affectionate feelings .
Feng Tianlan was extremely worried and she half-leaned against Si Mobai . She pretended not to have heard Shen Yunya’s words, although there was already cold sweat gathering on her palms .
Tu Xiupei glanced at Shen Yunya, whom she naturally disliked, and raised her head to reprimand Xiao Qing, “Xiao Qing, keep quiet . You should not disturb the common people . ”
A woman’s sixth sense told Tu Xiupei that Shen Yunya liked Brother Jin . This made her a formidable love rival who threatened her position . Her only option was to use her identity as Shen Qingdai to her advantage .
Xiao Qing let out a “woo” sound and did not appear to obey her .
Inadvertently, Shen Yunya raised her eyebrows and looked at Feng Tianlan . She wanted to see how Feng Tianlan would behave towards Xiao Qing, and if Xiao Qing would recognize her as its owner .
However, before Feng Tianlan could do anything, Xiao Qing made a sound as if it had been wronged and obediently shut its mouth as Tu Xiupei had asked of it .

“Dai’er!” Seeing how Xiao Qing listened to Tu Xiupei, Xi Jin’s heart was moved and he could not help but gently call out . She was indeed Dai’er, Xiao Qing’s behavior was the best proof .
“Brother Jin?” Tu Xiupei replied meekly .
Feng Tianlan lifted her eyes to look at Tu Xiupei and said in cold sarcasm, “How come I wasn’t told that you changed your name to Dai’er? When did you finally find your biological father?”
“Elder Sister…” Tu Xiupei said in an aggrieved tone, but her eyes were full of hatred as she glared at Feng Tianlan, hoping that her piercing gaze could impale her . How dare she expose her in front of Brother Jin!
Xi Jin looked at Tu Xiupei with a confused expression on his face . “Dai’er, Miss Feng and you are not biological sisters?”
If so, his going to Feng Tianlan to ask for her Cinnarbar field was a big fat joke .

There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol).
