Si Mobai sensed her hesitation . He let out a long sigh as he grabbed her hands and pulled them around his waist . “Lan’er, be brave . Living in a world with a significant other will definitely be more exciting than living alone . ”

She didn’t have enough courage, but he did . When she couldn’t open up her heart, he kept his heart open and was willing to wait for her forever .

Her palms were sweating as she gathered her courage . “I may not like you as much as you like me right now, but I will try my best to catch up to you . I will eventually like you as much as you like me . I will do my best to devote myself to you as much as you have devoted yourself to me . I am willing to fight alongside you . I want you to be my soft spot and my shield . ”

She wanted to catch up to not only his strength but his devotion as well .

After hearing these words, Si Mobai’s wary peach-blossom eyes slowly brightened up . He was still in disbelief . His breath was short, but his voice was hushed with hints of joy . “Lan’er . ”

“I told you that I once liked someone, and that I wasn’t sure if I still liked him . ” Feng Tianlan raised her head and looked at Si Mobai with her brilliant eyes . “However, right now I have become sure . I don’t like him anymore . ”

When she saw Jiang Ying, she had only felt hatred . Hatred for him to his very core . She had no other emotion for him . She thought to herself that maybe she really no longer had any affection for him anymore, or perhaps she had never liked him in the first place .

Jiang Ying had taken care of her since she was young . After her parents’ death, it was natural that she became reliant on him . She thought that if she had really liked him, she would not have allowed him to be so close to Shen Yunya which led to her tragedy in the end .

When one liked another, not even a look at another person could be tolerated in their presence .

Si Mobai looked at her . He felt breathtaking awe that couldn’t be expressed with words . He just wanted to hug her and kiss her .

She was sure that she had no affection for Jiang Ying anymore .
