After the man finished speaking, others quickly chimed in, “Right, right . She killed everyone in town with a sword . ”
“She killed my whole family . Even if she turned to ash, I would still recognize her,” stated a short, thievish-looking guy through gritted teeth .
At first, Chuling was stunned but came to understand what was happening soon after . She glared at them angrily and declared,” You guys are bullsh*tting . My miss didn’t kill anyone . ”
What these people had actually said was that her miss had exterminated everyone in town . They obviously wanted to frame her . It really was terrible .
One of the skinnier men with a frivolous look raised his head and looked at Feng Tianlan . He affirmed, “No, it was not this one in front of us . That lady was too pretty, like a fairy . This person in front of us looks like a demon . No, no, the killer is definitely not this ugly fellow in front of us . ”
Hearing these words, the magistrate gave the frivolous man a slap in the face and reprimanded him, “Idiot! That is Feng Tianlan . Lady demons can transform . They can turn into beauties and seduce everyone . The beauty you all saw that day was an illusion . ”
The frivolous man covered his face, which was swollen from the slap, as he busily nodded while talking . “Yes, yes . She is Feng Tianlan . She is the one who killed the townspeople . ”
Seeing the frivolous man change his statement, the magistrate nodded in contentment . He then turned around and looked at Feng Tianlan, who had been silent the whole time . He declared, “Feng Tianlan, you are suspected of murder . Please, follow us . ”
Feng Tianlan had been watching the show from the side . Now, she faced the magistrate, who was as fat as a pig, and sneered, “Suspected for murder?”

“That’s right . The survivor from the town has testified that you are the killer . Please, follow me and accept the punishment of the Law of South Winds,” said the magistrate in a bureaucratic way .
Feng Tianlan sneered, “What if I don’t follow you?”
This was hilarious . These people didn’t even recognize her . Just because of her name, Feng Tianlan, they’d accused her of being a murderer . The clues obviously pointed to her .
“Then don’t blame us for being rude . ” The magistrate did not have much patience . He immediately gave an order, “Take them down . Kill any who oppose on the spot . ”
He did not care if the person in front of him was Feng Tianlan . He’d rather kill a hundred than let one slip away . Carrying out Lady Phoenix’s orders was his utmost priority .
In an instant, twenty to thirty constables rushed toward Feng Tianlan with swords in their hands .
Chuling frowned as she brought the constables to their knees with just a few strikes of her Silver Silk Net .
“You! Don’t you come near me . I am the magistrate . If you dare to kill me, you will be chased down by the Imperial Court . ” Seeing Chuling carrying her Silver Silk Net, she walked toward him with a cold gaze, and the magistrate backed off in fear .
Feng Tianlan sneered, “Kill him . ”
Chuling raised her line of sight . The Silver Silk Net flew out like a blade and wrapped around the magistrate’s neck . A grunting sound followed, and his pig head immediately fell onto the ground .
Feng Tianlan raised her icy gaze and stared at the people who were running away . She raised her hand, and a vine flew out and yanked a few of them back . They were fiercely thrown on the ground in front of her .

“I will kill anyone who tries to run away again . ” Chuling held her Silver Silk net and swung it around in front of them . Bright red blood dripped onto the floor .
“Lady, please spare us . We were forced to accuse the lady of murder . ”
“We were acting under someone else’s order . We are not even from Misty Town . ”
“Lady, please spare our lives! We will confess everything . It was the magistrate who asked us to testify against you . We are innocent . We beg you, please, spare our lives!”
After seeing blood dripping from the Silver Silk Net, they trembled all over and straightaway revealed everything they knew .
