She was reminded of their first encounter when he’d suddenly landed in front of her . His hair had also brushed her face back then, tinged with its slight whiff of mint .

Lin Suyin found herself always checking in on Feng Tianlan’s team so that she could catch Si Mobai’s smile once again . Warning bells went off in her brain . She could no longer squash the worry overwhelming her heart .

Si Mobai noticed Lin Suyin’s gaze almost immediately . While the Wargod had eyes that were as beautiful as peach flowers, they could turn icy in an instant . He shot invisible frozen daggers at Lin Suyin as a warning . After making sure that Lin Suyin got his point, he looked away with a frosty expression and fixed his gaze to the front .

Lin Suyin shivered . Si Mobai’s gaze was well below the freezing point . Not only did it chill her from head to toe, but it also shattered her hopes without any mercy . He was being heartless toward her, devoid of any kindness . He never allowed even an ounce of emotion to slip .
