Chapter 300: Love Once More Without Holding Back

Si Mobai carried Feng Tianlan out of jail . The warm sunshine washed away the jail’s awful stench from their bodies .

“Lan’er . ” Si Mobai put Feng Tianlan down and lowered his eyes to look at her .

Feng Tianlan took two steps back and lightly dusted off her clothes . “Don’t touch me . ”

“Do you believe what she said?” As Si Mobai considered her actions his almond eyes started to grow cold . He thought that she trusted him, trusted in his character .

“Whether what she is saying is true or not, it doesn’t matter . ” Feng Tianlan narrowed her eyes, and her voice was as light as the clouds in the sky . “It has nothing to do with me . I just don’t like you touching me . ”

She trusted him, and that made him all the more dangerous . She should stop having anything to do with him . The pain that Jiang Ying had dealt her was enough to make her avoid men as if they were poisonous snakes .

“Lan’er . ” Si Mobai took a deep breath and suppressed his anger, which was about to explode . “I didn’t look at her at all . Other than you, no other women will ever catch my attention…”

“That has nothing to do with me . ” Feng Tianlan turned and walked away .

Si Mobai ran ahead of her and blocked her way . “Other than you, I can’t touch any other women . If I do, I’ll feel uncomfortable all over . ”

Feng Tianlan calmly cut him off, “So because you have this illness, I have to be your cure?”

“No, that’s not what I meant . Before you came along, I felt like the walking dead . But after I saw you, I started having that feeling where your heart pounds really quickly . Do you get that?” Si Mobai was trying to explain himself, but his explanation was a mess because he was very anxious .

He didn’t actually know the feeling of a heart pounding quickly, not even in the face of death . His usual heart rate was so slow it was like he didn’t have a heart, desires, or emotions . He lived like he was alive on the outside but dead on the inside .

But the moment he’d set eyes on her, he’d felt his heart beating and started to think that he was actually living .

“You’ve been rejecting me all this while, so you won’t believe anything I say . ” Si Mobai clenched his fists in frustration . He wanted to go closer to her, but he was afraid that he couldn’t control his temper, so he just stood anxiously where he was .

Feng Tianlan narrowed her eyes and told him seriously, “Si Mobai, don’t harass me anymore . I don’t like you, and I won’t like you . ”

Si Mobai’s lips moved, but he didn’t say anything as he looked at her . He clenched his fists, then relaxed . Then, he unleashed a massive amount of Spiritual force before she could hide inside the Pill Scroll Realm . She was immobilized as if frozen to the spot .

“Si Mobai, can you be a little more reasonable?” Feng Tianlan couldn’t move, so she glared at Si Mobai .

Si Mobai took a deep breath and moved close to Feng Tianlan . He reached out a hand to lift up her chin and turn her face to him . He looked into her angry phoenix eyes and said, “If I have to reason with you, then I’ll never get to marry you . ”

He had to be domineering and overpowering to ensure that she didn’t have any place to run to .

His cold minty fragrance with its strong manly smell blew toward her, and Feng Tianlan’s face reddened . She cursed herself . Whenever she came face to face with him, no matter how determined she was, her heart would still be swayed .

Si Mobai looked at her pretty red lips and bent down to kiss them . He barged into her mouth domineeringly and powerfully, catching the tip of her tongue and taking her breath away . He wanted to possess all of her .

She didn’t mean what she had said . She obviously had feelings for him but kept rejecting his advances . Although she believed in him, she had said all those things to reject him .

He gently licked her lips and plastered his handsome face on hers . His almond eyes looked straight into her phoenix ones as he said, “Maybe it’s because Si Rong hurt you . Or, maybe there’s some other reason . But Lan’er, can’t you put away the past and love once more without holding back?”
