Chapter 288: Because Feng Tianlan Is Dead
Chapter 288: Because Feng Tianlan Is Dead
Si Rong had been so cruel and so heartless toward her, so why did she have to worry about his future? They could all die together!
She did love him very much, but she would not forgive his betrayal . He would die with her!
As for Tu Xiupei…
Tu Xiuyu looked up at Feng Tianlan and Si Mobai and laughed hollowly, “Hahaha! Even though I would rather be the one to do it, I know Tu Xiupei will die at your hands, and that’s enough for me . ”
What comes around goes around . Retribution was coming for Tu Xiupei, for sure . She would wait for Tu Xiupei in hell . Since she was going to die first, she would be more powerful than Tu Xiupei in the netherworld!
Feng Tianlan narrowed her eyes slightly and turned to leave .
“Feng Tianlan . ” Tu Xiuyu suddenly called her name when she saw that Feng Tianlan was about to leave . Then, she asked what had been inside her heart for a long time, “You were a good-for-nothing for so long . How did you suddenly turn things around in just one day?”
She remembered that she and Si Rong had whipped Feng Tianlan to the point where she was barely breathing, and she had even been struck by lightning . They all thought she would die from that flash of lightning, but, for some reason, she’d woken up after a few hours then defeated Tu Xiuyu soundly .
From that day onward, things had changed overnight for her entire family and the Feng Clan, and nothing they did went well .
Feng Tianlan glanced at her . “Because Feng Tianlan is dead . ” She was merely a soul that had taken over this body .
“Your heart is dead, you mean?” Tu Xiuyu laughed loudly as she watched Si Mobai escort Feng Tianlan out . She shouted after her, “I don’t regret it! I’ve never regretted making Big Brother Rong annul his engagement to you!”

Feng Tianlan didn’t care about what she’d said . After leaving the room, she instructed Zhang Tiancheng, “You arrange the rest . ”
“Yes, Boss,” Zhang Tiancheng answered while stealing a glance at Si Mobai .
Si Mobai glanced at him coldly, slung an arm around Feng Tianlan’s waist, then left with a gentle leap into the air .
After they had disappeared out of sight, Zhang Tiancheng breathed a sigh of relief and clutched his groin again . “What did I just see?”
–
The other day, he’d said that the Wargod liked Tu Xiupei . Now, the Wargod had come back to deliver him a slap in the face and kick him in the nuts . This Wargod was a terrifying character .
After reaching the Heavenly Phoenix Court, Feng Tianlan made Si Mobai land on the roof so that she could look at the stars . “Do you have any wine on you?”
Si Mobai took out a flask of mild cider from his storage space and passed it to her, saying in an overbearing and sour voice, “Don’t think about other things . ” He had no idea how that idiot Si Rong could be better than him, or how Si Rong could have upset her so much .
Feng Tianlan knocked back several mouthfuls in one go .
Si Mobai watched her, his heart aching painfully . But he knew that she was in a bad mood and had to let it out, so he didn’t stop her and continued to drink quietly with her .
“Si Mobai . ” Feng Tianlan looked at him, slightly drunk . Her eyes were not entirely focused anymore .
Si Mobai felt his abdomen tighten as he looked back at the slightly flushed face in front of him . She was using her phoenix eyes to stare dreamily at him, and her moist red lips were slightly open, pulling him into temptation .

“Don’t…mmm…”
She wanted to tell him not to harass her anymore, but before the words could come out, her lips were blocked by his kiss . His usual cold, minty scent was now mixed with the smell of wine and a strong, manly musk .
Si Mobai forcibly broke through Feng Tianlan’s lips and teeth . His tongue barged into her mouth and cleaned her out . He tasted every part of her mouth as if swallowing her whole .
Feng Tianlan’s head was pushed back from his kiss, and she let him continue kissing her until her tongue went numb, her neck ached, and her entire body went limp…

The Forbidden Class
Hatred. Lust. Power. There are many reasons why the Forbidden Classes are chosen. For Katai, a young village Guard, the reason was simple. Vengeance. Schedule I’ve not been able to write for quite some time now, so while I’m getting back into things the schedule will be nonexistent. Story details LitRPG - expect classes and skills and magic. Not a lot of stats/number-crunching though. There is slavery featured in this story, which a lot of people have been upset about. So here’s your fair warning. Skill levels and progression inspired by Azarinth Healer. Let me know what you think, and feel free to give me some constructive criticism. Please be nice about it though!

The Foretold: Sun Child (Complete)
As a sixteen year old commoner, your future is bleak. Worse, your appearance sets you apart from others. Your only achievement so far, is befriending the second son of the Lord of the Keep. He has been your only friend for eleven years, initially partner in mischief and later your hunting companion and confidant. Now your friendship is being torn asunder, he has turned eighteen and is being sent away to become a Judge Knight Aspirant. What is to become of you? Before your friend leaves, there is murder and conspiracy! Magic left the land hundreds of years ago, all you have is your bow and hunting skills, nevertheless you must fight to survive and save another to have any hope of a future! Note: The graphic isn't mine; it is a re-imagining of a few separate images, any objections by original artists let me know. N.B. If you are looking for Sexual Content every chapter, or every second, third or fourth chapter this isn't the story for you - the Sexual Content is required for a plot device, not a way of life and the later chapters reflect that - please stop dropping Low Ratings when you feel I haven't met your idea of "fan service". This is finished as much as a multi book vision can be finished. At 750,000 words give or take and very little readership I can only blame myself. I have learnt a lot, possibly forgotten a lot as well! I will probably return to the Chapters at some point - a touch up here and a touch up there. The second book though will probably remain in my head for a very long time, so yes "cliffs" although I hope the characters and their motivations are developed enough that you can have a good guess at the content of Book Two and tell me so I can confirm or deny! This isn't a LITRPG where classes are developed, great foes are defeated by a hero of immense power. This is a story based within (I hope) a very real and consistent culture, that leaves breadcrumbs for the reader to work out what the heck is happening and why. This is a slow burn story as the MC is stumbling around discovering her new place and role. Author's Note (Apr 2021): I dropped the Fantasy Genre for the Mystery Genre, because while the setting mentions magic, is it about past glories and trying to return to them. Whereas the MC from Chapter One doesn't understand her predicament and the range of mysteries she must solve to survive. If I have this wrong PM me and I will change this back.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
