The Wargod couldn’t hold it in anymore and had come here to confess his love to her . Tu Xiupei told herself not to let him win her over!

Since Tu Xiupei had already decided what to do, she put on a cold expression and cut off Si Mobai, saying, “A single man and woman should not be seen together like this . Your Highness should leave . ”
The harder it was to have her, the more he would cherish her . Besides, she just wanted to use him . She didn’t really want to be with him!
Tu Xiupei’s head was filled with nothing but how the Wargod had come to confess his feelings for her and how she was going to reject him so that he would still hold a torch for her and become a pawn in her game . She didn’t notice that Feng Tianlan was standing behind Si Mobai .
Si Mobai was already wearing a cold expression, but after hearing this, his face wholly frosted over . He repeated coldly, “I…”
“I like…”
The moment Tu Xiupei heard the word ‘like,’ her heart skipped a beat . She coldly cut him off again, “I hope that Your Highness can have some respect for himself . After all, for us to meet in private like this is not proper . ”
Si Mobai tilted his head slightly to look at the petite Feng Tianlan hiding behind him . Did she intend just to watch a good show and not come out?
Feng Tianlan looked at him as if she didn’t want to be part of this . The previous owner of this body had been abused from a young age and was very skinny in the first place . Even though she had put on some weight, she barely reached Si Mobai’s shoulder . He was much taller and broader than her . It was now nighttime, and Tu Xiupei only had eyes for Si Mobai, so she just didn’t notice Feng Tianlan .

But after hearing what Tu Xiupei had said, Feng Tianlan didn’t want to come out too soon, either . She wanted to see how narcissistic Tu Xiupei could be .
Tu Xiupei saw that Si Mobai’s face had become colder and knew that his pride had been wounded . Since he didn’t leave immediately, he must really like her .
She worked up her emotions and thought about what to say, then lowered her head and said in a gentle yet controlled voice, “Your Highness is a prince, and while Pei’er really admires you, I’ve been removed from the Feng Clan genealogy, and I am now only a concubine’s daughter . My status is too lowly and unworthy of Your Highness’ love . Your Highness should leave as soon as possible so that I don’t become an eyesore . ”
The first thing she wanted to do was to use Si Mobai to take the Feng Clan back from Feng Tianlan . As long as he wasn’t stupid, he would be able to understand what she was hinting at through her roundabout way of expressing her suffering .
Si Mobai’s face became even colder . So now she was blaming everything on Lan’er and wanted him to deal with Lan’er for her?
A murderous intent filled Si Mobai’s eyes . He glanced at Feng Tianlan out of the corner of his eye and saw that her mood had worsened . So, he thought he’d make Tu Xiupei embarrass herself to cheer Feng Tianlan up .

Tu Xiupei frowned – was the Wargod so stupid that he didn’t understand what she was getting at? Or, perhaps, she hadn’t made it obvious enough .
“For someone as honorable as Your Highness, you would be compatible with someone like my elder sister, a daughter of a respectable family, while I…” Tu Xiupei looked up and quickly glanced at Si Mobai with a face filled with shyness before looking back down . “Pei’er is not worthy of you, so I can only keep you in my heart and remember you forever . ”

Si Mobai reached behind him and caught Feng Tianlan’s little hand with great accuracy . He pinched her palm now and then and wholly ignored Tu Xiupei’s little theatrics .
The one who was compatible with him was indeed Lan’er – this was something he liked hearing!
Feng Tianlan started blushing as she watched Si Mobai play with her hand . Even at a time like this, this man was so lecherous that he did not forget to play with her hand! Also, was Tu Xiupei blind? She still hadn’t noticed Feng Tianlan!
“Your Highness…” Tu Xiupei looked at him doubtfully when he did not respond . She had put things very clearly . Surely, he understood this time?

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on.
