After everyone had taken a seat, Tu Xiupei looked around before calling the server . Then, in her confident hostess voice, she commanded, “Serve the food!”

The server looked at Feng Tianlan and saw her calmly sipping tea . He thought about what Luo Yunzhu had said and put on a fake smile . “No problem . Coming right up!”

Immediately after he responded, the server could feel a chilly stare from His Highness, which terrified him . With a tremble of his hands, he quickly scrambled downstairs . His Highness was way too scary .

Tu Xiupei saw how the server was suddenly so cooperative, and her head swelled with pride . Once all the dishes had been placed on the table, she stood up and said, “Thank you, everyone, for coming . Let me propose a toast to all of you . ”

“Second Miss is really chivalrous . A knight among women!”

“That’s our Second Miss! The Spiritual Foods Restaurant has made an exception for her . Her phoenix destiny really sets her apart . ”

“But isn’t today’s banquet…”

“Second Miss is the one treating us . Got it? If you don’t, then shut up . ”

Tu Xiupei was enjoying all the bootlicking, and she shyly continued watching Xi Jin out of the corner of her eye as she went around the guests putting on a show of modesty .

Feng Tianlan continued to sip her tea quietly, but she could see Xiaoqing hanging around outside the window and calling out softly from time to time . She stood up and walked over . Her body was just wide enough to block the window .

Feng Tianlan reached out through the window, and Xiaoqing immediately nuzzled its head in her direction and used its silver horn to gently rub her hand, as if it missed her terribly .

“Be good and follow Big Brother Jin . Don’t acknowledge me anymore . ” Feng Tianlan gently stroked Xiaoqing’s fur . She could hear it whimper in protest, so she whispered, “Otherwise, I might not get the chance to make it out of here alive . ”

Xiaoqing continued to protest and used its horn to keep prodding her hand . Xiaoqing seemed to be telling her that if she brought it along, it would protect her .

“Be good now . ” Feng Tianlan commanded it while stroking its fur .

Xi Jin could hear the protests coming from Xiaoqing and said to Feng Tianlan, “Miss Feng, Xiaoqing doesn’t like others touching it . ”

“Be good . Remember, don’t acknowledge me no matter what,” Feng Tianlan firmly commanded Xiaoqing before turning around to return to her seat . She threw a warning glance at Xiaoqing, then smiled and said, “It’s very pretty . ”

“Xiaoqing doesn’t like others touching it,” Xi Jin repeated . He had heard Xiaoqing’s protests . Xiaoqing belonged to Dai’er, so he had to protect it well .

Feng Tianlan looked away and nodded . Xiaoqing had always been quite aloof and didn’t allow anyone else besides her and Big Brother Jin to touch it . Even Jiang Ying and Shen Yunya couldn’t touch it .

Tu Xiupei saw that Xi Jin had spoken to Feng Tianlan and glared hatefully at her, thinking that Feng Tianlan had purposely found a chance to draw Big Brother Jin’s attention . Tu Xiupei was determined to find an opportunity to kill her .

Si Mobai saw that Feng Tianlan smiled so easily at Xi Jin, and his jealousy started increasing again . He couldn’t wait to tear Xi Jin apart .

“Lan’er, this is one of your favorites—Demonic Rabbit Beast meat . It’s delicious and helpful for skill training,” Si Rong described the benefits of the meat as he put a rabbit leg into Feng Tianlan’s bowl .

“Si Rong . ” Si Mobai frostily used his chopsticks to take the rabbit leg out of Feng Tianlan’s bowl and put it on the table . He looked coldly at Si Rong .

How dare he call her ‘Lan’er’ and try to gain her favor?

“Second Brother…” Si Rong felt his body tremble when Si Mobai called his name . He looked at Feng Tianlan for a few moments before finally being frightened off by Si Mobai’s terrifying aura . He ended up getting up in fear and said, “I’ll go sit to the side . ”

Feng Tianlan couldn’t help but laugh at this, but she quickly wiped away the smile from her face when she realized that Si Mobai was looking her way .
