Feng Xiang declared the reasons for severing ties with Feng Tianlan between coughing fits . The engagement had been annulled, so the Feng Clan’s token of marriage would be returned to him . He did not have to keep Feng Tianlan alive anymore . So long as Feng Tianlan were dead, the Feng name would remain his, and nobody would ever again mention that he’d married into the family . All the unlucky things that happened recently would also disappear with her . First, he had to drive her out of the house, then send someone to kill her . At last, the Feng Clan would belong to him, Feng Xiang .
Feng Tianlan looked at the agreement again and considered what Feng Xiang had said, then laughed as she said, “Where’s the stamp of the Feng Clan Seal? You can’t blot out my name from the genealogy without the stamp . ”
“I am the head of the Feng Clan, and I have pronounced these words with my own mouth . Why do I still need a stamp?” Feng Xiang glared at her angrily and couldn’t wait to tear her to pieces .
She was always so accurate, attacking him where it hurt the most . This d*mned child!
“If you don’t have the Feng Clan Seal, then you are not really the head of the clan . ” Feng Tianlan held the agreement in her hands and started walking toward him . She sneered with great disdain, “The Feng Clan is mine, and the Feng surname is mine . You are but a man who merely married into the family, so you have no right to take me out of the family records . ”

“Feng Tianlan!” Feng Xiang shouted as he raised his hand to kill her . But Feng Tianlan moved to one side and dodged the Palm Wind .
“You have no right, but I do . ” Feng Tianlan stood by the door and continued, “Soon enough, you will go back to where you came from, Tu Xiang!”
The wind blew, and the agreement that Feng Tianlan had tossed out flew back into the house and right into Feng Xiang’s face . He was so angry he peeled it off his face, tore it into many pieces, and threw them into the air .
“Feng Tianlan, I’m going to make your life a living hell . ”
Feng Xiang’s teeth chattered from anger as his eyes burned holes into Feng Tianlan’s back . Chuling saw that Feng Tianlan had walked out and quickly ran after her . Xu Jiayi watched Chuling run out and snorted . Suddenly, a new idea came to her mind, and an evil smile spread across her face . She couldn’t touch Feng Tianlan, but she could attack her maid . She wanted Feng Tianlan to know what it felt like to see someone you love suffer humiliation .
“Miss,” Chuling called out after her worriedly . Miss must be feeling awful with a father who wants her to die a horrible death, Chuling thought .
Feng Tianlan laughed and said, “Don’t worry . I’m fine . ”
She wasn’t really affected by Feng Xiang’s heartlessness . The little hurt she felt belonged to the body’s previous owner . She had experienced such a bone-chilling betrayal in her previous life . This was merely an itch and could not hurt her .
“Miss, as your slave, I will always stay by your side . ”
Chuling felt even sadder when she heard Feng Tianlan’s response . She thought about how cold her Miss’ heart must have become from being hurt again and again—so cold that she could now respond flippantly to cruelty .
Feng Tianlan just smiled then left for the Luo residence . The moment she reached the main door, she saw Luo Yunzhu wearing red and rushing toward her like a ball of fire .
“Tianlan!” Luo Yunzhu ran up to Feng Tianlan and grabbed her hands, grumbling, “Why are you so late? I thought you weren’t coming . ”
“Are you nervous?” Feng Tianlan asked as she looked at Luo Yunzhu’s petite frame .
