Chapter 53: Feng Tianlan’s Life on the Line

This fight was going to kill Feng Tianlan . Chuling covered her mouth with both hands and collapsed on the ground, tears flowing uncontrollably as she thought of her mistress’ fate . Thousands of spectators also perched on the edges of their seats, wondering if Feng Tianlan would be able to strike back again .
BOOM! Feng Xiuyu saw that the sword was only an inch away from Feng Tianlan’s throat . Suddenly, she felt a terrible pain in her cinnabar field; it was so painful that she had to stop her attack . Her body suddenly grew weak . One knee gave way, and she fell at Feng Tianlan’s feet .
“Oh my god…”
The spectators were shocked beyond words . Had Feng Tianlan even made a move to attack Feng Xiuyu? If she could attack without moving, that would be way above her current abilities .
“My turn . ” Feng Tianlan snorted and raised her dagger to stab Feng Xiuyu in the head .
“No!” Feng Xiuyu let out a small cry and rolled to one side .
While the dagger missed her head, it stabbed her in the stomach . She did not want to die . Without giving it much thought, she quickly took out an illegal pill from her storage ring and swallowed it . Feng Tianlan pulled out her dagger and tilted her head slightly . There was fresh blood all over her body, and it created a floral pattern on her white clothes .
“Go to hell!”
Feng Xiuyu’s body began emitting a powerful Spiritual Force . She gathered this force into a massive ball of light and sent it rolling at high speed toward Feng Tianlan . The spectators were once again watching this unfold with wide eyes . This ball of Spiritual Force could destroy anything within ten yards . This time, it would surely destroy Feng Tianlan . But the next scene left the spectators completely dumbfounded, unable to close their eyes and mouths . Was she a monster? How could someone swallow Spiritual Force? Feng Tianlan opened her mouth wide and swallowed the ball of light whole . Then, she produced a sphere of Spiritual Force from her own hands and sent it toward Feng Xiuyu .

“Yu’er!” Feng Xiang called out in shock as he jumped down from the stands and used his palm to deflect the ball back to Feng Tianlan .
As if one ball were not enough, he continued to aim at Feng Tianlan’s head and repeatedly sent out force attacks from his palms . The energy from his palms shot out so quickly that it looked like one continuous force . Everyone watching was dumbstruck . Feng Xiang was basically killing his own daughter! Feng Tianlan could feel the huge wave of Spiritual Force headed for her, but she was too weak to fight back . As a First Stage Spiritualist, she did not stand a chance against a Mid-stage Spiritual Grandmaster .
BAM! Feng Xiang and Feng Xiuyu were hit by a strong force that sent both of them flying . They crashed hard onto the force field . Feng Xiang spat out a mouthful of blood from the impact, while Feng Xiuyu immediately lost consciousness .
“Head of the Feng Clan, you’ve broken the rules,” said a voice as fine as aged wine, instantly mesmerizing people .
Feng Tianlan felt dizzy as she looked up and saw a white figure land gently in front of her, his back straight and his white clothes flying in the wind . A strand of hair touched her face as lightly as a feather . She could smell a hint of mint, and it strangely had a calming effect on her heart . It was him! Si Mobai! Just like the last time she’d fought Feng Xiuyu, he descended from the heavens like a god and protected her .
“Wargod, this is supposed to be a friendly match, but Feng Tianlan intends to kill Yu’er,” Feng Xiang tried to explain hurriedly, thinking to himself: Why does the Wargod help Feng Tianlan every time? Is he interested in her?

“This battle ring is meant for deadly duels, and one must accept the consequences, including death . Besides, I can see clearly that your Third Miss here is delivering fatal blows, one after another . ”
Feng Xiang’s eyes burned with fury as he glared at Feng Tianlan with profound contempt . He said, “Yu’er is her younger sister, so she should give in to her . What elder sister delivers such deadly blows? She is a ruthless woman who won’t even spare her younger sister . ”
