Chapter 244: 244
Whoosh!
Gar’s expression was extremely gloomy.
This was because the feelings he had with his clone were basically the same.
On his side, he could share the feelings of his clone, and he could also disconnect the feelings so that when his clone died, his main body would not suffer as well.
But now…
He felt that his clone’s legs were bound.
He could not move at all!
It was as if something was pulling his feet under the swamp.
This familiar feeling…
The excitement and excitement in Gar’s heart was instantly extinguished by cold water.

How could it be!
The strange creature was still there!
Just as his thoughts fell, suddenly, his doppelganger’s entire body stopped, and in the next second, it directly exploded.
It was as if his body was tied up with ropes, and there were two horses pulling on the other end of each rope. A tearing sensation suddenly came from his clone.
At this moment.
Gar’s emotions were still in a huge gap.
Therefore, he did not have time to cut off the connection between his body and his clone. When he felt an intense tearing sensation from his clone, Gar immediately fell to the ground and howled in pain.
His eyes were filled with blood.
Of course, this was only external pain.
What made Gar even more desperate was that his expectations had failed.
The greater the expectations, the greater the disappointment.
When he controlled his clone and walked dozens of steps, he was as desperate as he was looking forward to it at that time!
The strange creatures were still there!
Gar was very desperate.
After the tearing sensation on his body slowly disappeared, Gar’s eyes turned red as he stared straight at the young man opposite him.
At this moment, the young man still had a smile on his face. He stood there and stared at him without moving. It was very strange.
Then why was he fine?

Gar was as confused as he could be.
He was very unwilling.
Why was the young man fine?
“Why are you looking at me?”
The young man opposite him suddenly spoke. His voice sounded very gentle. He did not seem like a person who liked to kill.
Gar was stunned for a moment.
Because the other party’s appearance was really too relaxed.
It was as if he did not encounter any strange creatures in the swamp at all.
Could it be that his direction had no strange creatures?
Should he give it a try?
Gar thought carefully and finally decided to give up.
He already did not have too much physical strength to waste. If he were to casually waste another clone, then he was afraid that he would not be able to last even today.
The best way now was to get some information from the young man in front of him.
Why was she fine?
“You… didn’t you feel anything unusual?”
Gar asked nervously.
“Unusual?”
The young man was stunned for a moment. Then, he rubbed his chin and thought for a moment before asking with a smile, “are you talking about this place?”
Nonsense!!
Could it be that I can talk about other places?!
Gar roared in his heart, but of course, he could not show it. Thus, he nodded and said, “of course.”
“Hehe…”
Just as he finished speaking.
Gar heard the young man on the opposite side laugh.
This made Gar’s eyebrows jump.
“There’s also an abnormality here.”
Just as Gar was about to fly into a rage, he heard the young man’s answer.
Was there an abnormality?
Where?
Just as Gar had a question in his heart.
Then, he saw the young man opposite him point at the bottom of his feet, and then said with a smile, “there seems to be a strange creature under my feet. It has been trying to stop me and doesn’t want me to leave. From the looks of it, it seems to want me to go down and accompany it.”

Instantly, Gar’s pupils constricted.
There was indeed a strange creature!
But…
What was wrong with this young man?!
Was he really not afraid?
Moreover, from the way he looked and the way he spoke, it seemed that he did not take the strange creatures in the swamp seriously at all?!
How could this be possible!
The strange creatures in the swamp, even if it was not the strongest in the entire Black Swamp, they were not weak.
Especially in the swamp, its abilities were displayed to the extreme!
It was not just him.
Even all the B rank mages from before were completely defenseless against the strange creatures in the swamp. As long as they were caught, they would not be able to move at all, and could only let the other strange creatures hurt them.
It could be said that it was quite powerful.
According to his previous guess, the strange creature in the swamp should be B rank, or even B+ rank.
And according to his guess, this strange creature only had one ability.
That was binding!
The ability was simple, but it was still able to become a B rank strange creature. This proved that this ability was terrifying, and not an ordinary person could break it!
Therefore, the binding force was obvious, it must be very powerful!
However, this strange creature could not bind this young man?!
How was this possible?!
In his opinion, this young man was at most twenty-five years old, or maybe even twenty-one or twenty-two years old.
In the end, he could deal with this strange swamp so easily?!
Where did this young man come from?
How come he had never heard of him before?
If his ability was really great, with their family’s information channels, it was impossible for him not to have heard of him!
Gar’s pupils trembled.
“So…”
A smile appeared on the young man’s face.
Gar looked over.
So what?
Just as he was about to ask, the young man had already opened his mouth. “So, I’m wondering if I should behead this annoying strange creature…”
Behead?!
Gar’s heart trembled even more.
Was this something that could be beheaded just like that?
Even if you could get rid of this restraint, the difficulty of beheading this strange creature had increased by more than one level!
How could the strange creature that grew in the swamp be killed just like that?
To this kind of strange creature, the swamp was like its home.
Even if its strength was really stronger than it, killing it in its home was even more difficult than ascending to the heavens.
But from the tone of this young man.
It was as if he could really kill that strange creature at any time.
“Kill… Then kill it!”
Gar said.
Although he did not think that this young man could do it, if he could really do it, it would be a pleasant surprise to him.
After killing this strange creature, his chances of getting out would be much greater.
“Behead?”
“Forget it, forget it.”
A strange smile flashed across the young man’s eyes. Then, he waved his hand and said, “I don’t plan to behead it. So be it. It won’t affect me.”
Instantly, Gar’s face alternated between green and white.
“You, on the other hand.”
“Why did you call me here?”
The young man asked with a smile.
Gar opened his mouth, but for a moment, he did not say anything.
He called you here because he wanted to drag you down with him…

Gar did not dare to say these words.
After seeing this young man, his eyes began to shine.
Because this young man’s strength seemed to be very strong.
And from the looks of it, the young man’s attitude was very gentle. Perhaps he could use his methods to escape from here.
Gar thought to himself.

8 64Fragments of Glass
before the 1939-1945 War, most churches in England had stained glass windows, but despite local people's best efforts many of these windows were smashed in the bombing. What could be repaired was repaired, but in many churches all they could do was reassemble the remaining fragments randomly, with extra bits of clear glass added to eke them out to fill the windows. That is what I imagined for my collection of short stories: fragments of stained glass, bits of robe, bits of faces, all sorts of odds and ends randomly stuck together. And with quite a lot of clear fragments among the coloured ones. Just broken pieces of stories that anyone can look through.
8 90Yet Another RimWorld (Dropped)
*Fanfiction based on the game RimWorld*A more realistic take of RimWorld, where we follow the pawns that must struggle to survive in yet another Rimworld. Their stories, guided by a particularly playful narrator, will tell the tales of survival, defeat, gains, losses, triumph, and ultimately ruin. Trials faced by people, in places of various circumstances, will be observed and presented to its audience. What will be presented here are insignificant snippets of history, merely few of the innumerable tales and prospects to be found across this wide galaxy; The things we discover from these pawns, so many yet so few. Ultimately, they are just more drama meant for enjoyment, albeit in a twisted way. A/N:This is a fanfiction, based on the game "RimWorld". Using my personal gameplays as a basis for this fanfiction, in addition to some embellishments here and there. Unlike the silly antics that caused grave consequences if you had ever played RimWorld, my rendition will (hopefully) stay more grounded to reality, whereby no one will go beserk and dig up corpses if they can't eat on a table for 3 days in a row. That's all I need to say, you get the point. I'm writing this for fun. So please expect me to be inconsistent. Lastly, I am incredibly grateful to Tynan Sylvester for the game he created, "RimWorld", which is loved by many across the world and it will always remain a special place in my heart. For without his game, my work would not exist.
