Chapter 42: I have seen Teacher Chu Liuxiang!

“Fang Shu, Xiao Qian wants to be your friend . ” Bu Yiyi said while her hands were held together and were slightly twisting around it .

Chen Huan stood up with his book in hand and said in a bland tone, “Really?”

Bu Yiyi rolled her eyes, “Isn’t this very good?”

“Really?” Chen Huan asked with a low voice .

Seeing that he didn’t disagree, Bu Yiyi asked with a lowered voice, “What are you going to do then?”

“What should I do?” Chen Huan asked himself before he squatted on the ground and continued to read his book .

“Didn’t you like her?” Bu Yiyi subconsciously asked .

“…” Chen Huan didn’t answer and only turned his head to stare at her .

“It is because you have another girl you like?” Bu Yiyi asked cleverly but because of the tension, her hands started to twist around again .

Chen Huan slowly returned his gaze toward the book and said, “No . ”

Bu Yiyi suddenly turned displeased, “Then isn’t it okay!?”

After saying that, she turned around and stomped out .

But she stopped after three or so steps .

Chen Huan put down his book, stood up again and smiled at Bu Yiyi who was looking at him .

“Nice!” Shi Liyou, Ding Lun and the other couldn’t help but start clapping .

Bu Yiyi thought they were applauding her performance but didn’t know that they were praising Chen Huan .

Zhu Mei also came over to praise, “Great acting! Yiyi, you were very good! Xiao Huan, you were even better!”

“Hum, Director Zhu, which school did this little brother came from?” Bu Yiyi recalled Chen Huan performance and praised him, “Although he’s young, he can act so naturally . He gave me the feeling as if he was the same as the character . They are restrained and bad at expressing themselves but would sometime show their tenderness inadvertently . This made me emotional when I just look at it!”

“Haha, he’s just a high school student . ” Zhu Mei replied with a smile, “Yiyi, you’ve worked hard, I’ll contact you later . ”

“Okay! You guys worked hard too!” Bu Yiyi waved her hand in a relaxed manner before she left the room .

The door was closed and the audition was over .

The team started to disassemble the equipment while Zhu Mei, Ding Lun, Shi Liyou and Chen Huan started to discuss in a corner .

“Xiao Huan, what did you think of Bu Yiyi?” Zhu Mei didn’t mention Zhou Lexiang but directly mentioned the small beauty that performed better .

“Although she acted very well in accordance of the scene, I still think she is still not suitable . ” Chen Huan slowly expressed his opinion .

“Why? She’s only 18 years old, isn’t her look and temperament similar to Fang Shu in the script?” Ding Lun asked in puzzlement .

“She looks too beautiful, she is that kind of pure beauty and her aura isn’t the kind of a beauty coming from a humble background . ” Chen Huan explained, “Female Fang Shu is a girl from a common people’s house and is an ordinary person . She shouldn’t have such a strong aura but restrained and it’s even alright if she comes a bit cold . But Bu Yiyi’s acting strong point is her ability be exuberant and she can’t hide it . ”

Zhu Mei asked, “Then who do you think is more suitable? Which actress do you think is more suitable in your opinion?”

Chen Huan hesitated before he said, “I also thought of it before . I heard Han Dong’er a while ago and had a feeling while listening to it . Now that I’m thinking about it, her cold and quiet personality match with female Fang Shu quite well . ”

“Han Dong’er?” Shi Liyou thought about it, “Well, this girl’s personality is indeed completely different with Bu Yiyi… but won’t she be too cold?”

“Right, female Fang Shu is a cold and quiet girl, but this Han Dong’er is too cold, no?” Ding Lun also gave his opinion, “She is also a singer that never acted before, if she come to act in such an important role, what happen if she screws up?”

Both of them were veteran of the industry and were well informed . They naturally would take Chen Huan’s suggestion for granted .

Even though Bu Yiyi was a bit unsuitable, she still had many advantage over Han Dong’er .

“Moreover, if we really chose Chen Qian for the main heroine, then we must have a star actor that can attract the investors and the common audience . ” Shi Liyou said, “Bu Yiyi is perfect! She was the best choice if we want this film to do great!”

Zhu Mei smiled bitterly as she turned toward Chen Huan and said, “Xian Huan, can I talk about the matter concerning Teacher Chu?”

Chen Huan understood what she meant .

Ding Lun and Shi Liyou were both her close assistants for many years and she couldn’t ignore their opinion .

Zhu Mei didn’t let them continued on their guess but pointed toward Chen Huan as she said, “Here, let me introduce you the author of ‘Lover Letter’ and ‘A Bowl of Plain Noodles’ you people admire so much, Teacher Chu Liuxiang!”

They exclaimed in surprise .

No wonder Zhu Mei came to Lin’an for such a serious audition and not the convenient Huajin!
