Chapter 240: 240
“Poison Storm, Poison Swamp, Wind.”
Following the Fire Storm, Soo Hyuk started casting spells.
Now that mana consumption returned to normal, Soo Hyuk’s magic casting was unstoppable.
“Aww!”
“Dispel! Dispel!”
“I’m out of mana!”
“Damn! Where did the High-Class Demons go?”
“They all went to Hertana-sama!”
The Demons screamed and searched for High-Class Demons to dispel Soo Hyuk’s magic.
But right now, there were only High-Class Demons proficient in physical attacks. All the other Demons went to help Hertana.
[High-Class Demon Erogand has died.]
Soo Hyuk thought happily as he watched his contribution increase with the death of the High-Class Demon.
‘Hertana seems to be in bad shape.’
Again, damage reduction was not a problem. It was whether the skill landed or not.
‘I need to work on some skills soon.’
There are many beings stronger than Hertana.
In the future, he may meet other people who could avoid magic like Hertana.
‘Wind and Dark magic will be enough to bind them.’
Among the wind and darkness magic, there were many spells that restricted movement.
‘I was there yesterday.’
He suddenly felt sorry.
Yesterday, Soo Hyuk went to the auction house to collect the winning bid of the Alcandium Armor Leggings.
But he did not have a lot of time, so he only learned a few AOE spells.
[Level Up!]
A message appeared.
‘What is the next attribute?’
Soo Hyuk thought while looking at the message. There is now 1 level left until he reaches level 500.
He can open one more attribute soon.
The remaining attributes were water, illusion, light, earth, and lightning.
“Child of Darkness, Child of Darkness.”
Soo Hyuk resummons the ‘Children of Darkness’.
He pondered again.
‘Shall I unlock illusion?’
Soo Hyuk had an attribute he had in mind.
‘Or light?
It was an illusion or light.
The magic of the water, earth, and electricity attributes was very similar to the attributes he had already unlocked. Therefore, he did not really need them. But light and illusion are different.
“Do you think we should go somewhere else now?”
Soo Hyuk stopped his train of thoughts when Yeon Jeung talked to him.
The Demons were nowhere to be seen.
“Okay, let’s go.”
They will move away from the exit hole, but now that Hertana doesn’t appear, it doesn’t matter how far away from the exit route they are.
“Oh right. Yeon Jeung.”
Yeon Jeung began to drive the wagon, when Soo Hyuk suddenly called him.
“Yea?”
“If there is a situation in which Hartana appears or Asman’s realm is declared and we need to run away, you run away alone.”

“What?”
Yeon Jeung questioned not understanding.
“Am I going to run away alone?”
“Yeah, because I can run away to the subspace.”
“Oh.”
Yeon Jeung exclaimed. Come to think of it, Soo Hyuk can run away at any time.
It’s because he had the skill ‘Archmage’s Subspace’.
Yeon Jeung thought about it then exclaimed.
‘Because of me then…’
Soo Hyuk could have retreated right away. However, it was clear that he did not do it since Yeon Jeung was with him.
‘I need to be stronger.’
Yeon Jeung made a promise to himself, so that Soo Hyuk will not worry about him anymore.
___________
Eshtar looked at Hertana lying on the bed.
She had her eyes closed. She wasn’t dead though.
Although feeble, Hertana was still breathing.
‘Thankfully.’
Eshtar thought. What if the dispel was a little late? Something big was going to happen.
*Swoosh*
Eshtar looked at Hertana’s arm.
Fortunately, they were not late to dispel so she didn’t have to have her arm amputated.
Although it was full of burns, it could be healed with magic.
*swoosh*
Eshtar turned back. Then left the room and headed back to his house.
‘I have to report the situation.’
He hadn’t reported to Kyrad yet, as he was concentrating on Hertana’s healing. Now it was time to report to Kyrad.
‘Should I report?’
Eshtar was worried. Reporting to Kyrad was also a problem.
How should he report this situation? Not Demons, but two humans broke the wall and started a mess?
Hertana was seriously injured trying to subdue them?
In the current situation he will not be able to avoid taking responsibility no matter what he says.
“Sigh.”
Eshtar sighed heavily.
“?”
He then tilted his head when he arrived at his room.
“Hargas?”
Because Hargas was standing in front of it.
“Oh! You are here!”
Hearing Eshtar’s murmur, Hargas quickly approached.
“It’s a big deal.”
And at Hargas following words he had no choice but to frown.
“What else happened?”
How long has it been since they had left?
“Did the humans come back?”
Hargas did not respond to Eshtar’s words. He just flinched and looked surprised.
“What happened?”
Eshtar could not help but wonder what happened for Hagras to react like that.
“… Is it true?”
Estaar swallowed his saliva and asked.
“Yes.”
“Sigh.”
In response to Hargas, Eshtar sighed heavily. He had a headache. Then he murmured as he gently pressed his temples.
“Damn bastards.”
How can they come again?
“What should we do? They have now passed Area 23 and entered Area 21.”
Hargas asked.

Eshtar thought about it.
‘Can I deal with them?’
Can you stop the two humans?
Now that Hertana was down, the strongest power here was him. However, Eshtar was not confident enough to stop the two humans. If he rushes, he will die like a moth to the fire.
However, he can’t just let the two humans make a mess like that.
“Evacuate.”
After contemplating, Eshtar told Hargas.
“Evacuate?”
“Yes, evacuate all the Demons in the surrounding areas.”
If they can’t fight it, they should avoid it.
“Don’t tell them the truth about the reason, say it’s training.”
If it is because of humans, great confusion will arise, and proper evacuation will not take place.
They had a high chance of colliding with the humans, and they might die. Therefore, he blocked such a possibility from happening in the first place.
“All right.”
Hargas answered and immediately disappeared.
Eshtar entered the room. And he picked up the crystal ball on the desk.
It was a crystal ball that allowed him to talk directly with Kyrad.
*Swish*
When magic was blown into the crystal ball, a green light appeared and after some time.
Green light changed to blue light.
– What’s going on?
Immediately after it turned blue, a voice was heard, it was Kyrad’s.
“Sorry. The princess was hurt.”
Eshtar reported Hertana’s situation first.
-What? Hertana? Could it be that Cranosson guy, did it?
“… … No.”
-Huh? But then why is she hurt?
Kyrad asked in a voice full of doubt. Unless it’s Cranosson, there’s no reason for Hertana to get hurt.
-Is Amiletta there?
Eshtar was confused by Kyrad’s reaction. He was at a loss as to how to report the situation. He was afraid of how Kyrad would react if he told him it was humans.
“It’s a human.”
But in the end, it had to be reported. At Eshtar’s words, there was silence on the other side of the crystal ball. The connection was not broken. The crystal ball was still emitting blue light.
– Eshtar?
Soon after, Kyrad broke the silence and called for Eshtar.
“Yes, Kyrad-sama.”
Eshtar answered in nervousness.
– It seems that there was an issue with the communication. Can you repeat what you said?
At Kyrad’s words, Eshtar put on a puzzled expression. Communication was bad. Then he repeated.
“It’s a human.”
-Human? Hertana was seriously injured by a human? A human?
Kyrad’s voice was full of disbelief.
If he hadn’t seen it in person, even Eshtar would not have believed it.
Kyrad’s reaction was understandable.
“Yes, now those humans are in the castle. And are making a mess.”
– I’m coming right away.
Eshtar could feel the anger in Kyrad’s voice.
*Swish*
Then the blue light disappeared from the crystal ball and the green light appeared.
Eshtar also cut off the supply of mana, and then the green color disappeared as well.
Then he came out of the room and headed to the first basement floor of the mansion. It was to meet Kyrad.
_________
‘Really.’
Gus, a High-Class Demon of the Kyrad faction, was carrying his luggage.
‘Something ridiculous has happened.’
Gus remembered what had happened earlier in Area 23.
Humans who clearly had a relationship with the Amiletta faction attacked. Then they fought a battle with Hertana and won.
The humans also retreated, but for Gus, it was clearly their victory. Gus took his luggage and put it in his subspace.
‘After all, my choice was right.’
And he came out of the room. Why did Gus carry his luggage? It was to leave Alin and go to Ilom.
Gus belonged to the Kyrad faction, but his true affiliation was to the Amiletta faction. He acted as a spy.
‘Are you aware of this?’
Gus thought of Cranosson.
Does Cranosson really know the current situation?
‘He doesn’t know.’
Thinking of the information he received a while ago. He didn’t seem to know.
‘I have to tell him.’
The war is over. Many Demons died. Most of the important High-Class Demons died there.
Now even if they didn’t have the humans, the Kyrad faction can no longer be able to deal with Amiletta. He needed to end the war by telling Cranosson this.
“Where are you going?”
When he arrived at the entrance, the Intermediate-Class Demon who was guarding the entrance asked.
“Reconnaissance.”
Gus answered the question briefly and walked out. Then he headed quickly to Ilom.
Not long after, Gus arrived at the outpost in area C and stopped moving for a while.
“It was completely gone.”
The outpost was destroyed.
“Is that their strength?”
It seemed that they had passed here and came to Alin.
Gus looked around the outpost for a while and headed back to Ilom.
And not long after, the scouts of the Amiletta faction were able to find him.
“Enemy!”
“An enemy High-Class Demon has appeared!”
The Demons of Amiletta guarding the entrance found Gus and announced. Then the bell rang.
Gus took out the mark he had received from Cranosson from the subspace at the Demons’ shouts and the bell ringing. Then he showed the mark.
“Uh? The prince’s token?”
Seeing the mark, the Demon tilted his head. Why is it that the High-Class Demon of the Kyrad faction has the Cranosson’s mark?
“The enemy’s High-Class Demon!”
“Is that him?”
Hearing the bell, the Demons of Amiletta came running. And they too stopped when they saw Cranosson’s mark that Gus was holding.
Gus said as he looked at the Demons of the Amiletta that stopped.
“I want to meet the outpost commander.”
