Chapter 232: Area A Destroyed
*Swoosh*
Maros took out a small marble from his arms.
It was a marble that had the coordinates of ‘Alin’.
Maros placed the small marble on top of the crystal ball. Then the small bead permeated the crystal ball.
Soon, a magic circle appeared at Maros’ feet.
*Swoosh*
Then Maros disappeared from his place.
___________
{Break the Wings}
There are 8 zones A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H between Ilom and Alin.
Among them, the central areas C, D, and E were taken over by the Amiletta Faction.
However, they were unable to advance to Alin Castle.
This is because he took control of areas A, B, G, and H, which could be called wings, from the Kyrad Faction.
Drive out the demons of the Kyrad Faction in areas A and B!
[Area: 0]
[Area B: 0]
Quest Reward: Contribution of 500,000
‘Done!’
Soo-hyuk smiled.
‘If the warp gate was broken, it would have been a disaster.’
What he thought was right. He had not finished the quest ‘The 3rd Outpost’ yet. However, the quest condition changed from X to O.
That is, the completion condition was the number of demons.
‘I have to finish now.’
Soo Hyuk looked at the warp gate. Even now, demons were constantly coming over from there.
But he had no reason to leave the warp gate anymore, he had already finished his quest.
“Fire Storm.”
Soo Hyuk then casts a firestorm over the warp gate.
[You have destroyed a Warp Gate of the Kyrad Faction.]
[The curse placed on the warp gate is activated.]
[You have been cursed by Adoltes]
[The effect of the curse is that the demons of the Kyrad Faction are hostile to you.]
The crystal ball was destroyed, and many messages appeared.
But he did not care. It was because he was already in a hostile relationship with the Kyrad demons.
“Uh? Why did you break it?”
Yeon Jeung asked in a surprised voice.
“Check the quest.”
“Quest?”
“Yeah, break their wings.”
Soo Hyuk nodded while saying.
“OMG?”
As soon as Yeon Jeung checked the quest he exclaimed.
“Why is it fulfilled?”
“I think it’s because of the numbers.”
“Number?”
“Yes, the number of remaining demons.”
“Ah…”
With a smile on his face, Soo Hyuk checked the quest ‘The 3rd Outpost’.
{3rd Outpost}
You have arrived at the 3rd outpost of the Kyrad Faction in Area A.

In Outpost 3, there are countless demons.
Drive them out!
[Number of remaining demons: 1021]
Quest Reward: 200,000 Contribution
‘A thousand.’
Now that the warp gate has been destroyed, the demons do not increase. There will be demons running away like other outposts.
Therefore, the number will go down and they can quickly complete the quest.
“Let’s go.”
Soo Hyuk told Yeon Jeung.
Yeong Jeung closed the quest window and started driving the wagon.
So, Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung went around outpost 3, the main base of the Kirad Faction in area A and hunted the rest of the demons.
[You have completed the quest ‘The 3rd Outpost’.]
[The contribution also increases by 200,000.]
As there were many demons fleeing, the number of remaining demons quickly decreased, and after a while Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung were able to complete the quest.
“Finished!”
Yeon Jeung exclaimed with a wide smile.
“Are we going to leave right away?”
Then he asked Soo Hyuk.
“Yup.”
Yeon Jeung began to drive the wagon to the west entrance at Soo Hyuk’s reply.
Soo Hyuk checked the time.
‘It’s nine o’clock.’
According to the original plan, it was time to sweep through Outpost 3 and arrive at the outpost of the Amiletta Faction where Lipta was located.
‘How much did the bid become?’
Soo Hyuk thought about the Alcandium armor leggings. The auction ended an hour ago.
He was looking forward to how much the bid would be.
________
“Sigh”
The hunting king sighed. Then smiled.
{Alcandium Armor Bottoms [Legendary]}
Restrictions: Warrior, Strength 3000
Physical Defense Amplification: 7
Magical Defense Amplification: 2
The strongest mineral Alcandium in terms of hardness
The long-awaited auction time was over, and the hunting king won it.
‘Done.’
There was an unexpected competitor at the last minute, so he spent more than expected, but he was happy when he checked the item information.
The Hunting King closed the information window and immediately put on the armor.
[The quest ‘Alcandium Armor Leggings 1’ has been created.]
[The quest ‘Alcandium Armor Leggings 2’ has been created.]
[The quest ‘Alcandium Armor Leggings 3’ has been created.]
When he put it on, three quests appeared. When he saw the quests, he felt even happier. Then he thought as he looked at the quests.
‘I don’t need to worry about Intermediate demons anymore.’
Although the hidden options have not been unlocked yet, the physical defense amplification is a whopping 7 times. Intermediate demons’ attacks won’t be a threat at all.

‘He can even catch high level demons easily.’
What made him fear the high-level demons were their attacks. But now that he had the Alcandium armor he was not afraid anymore. He wanted to go try it right away.
‘Shall we raid a city?’
It’s not that hard to experiment. If they raid a city, a high-level demon will appear.
‘They are at war so I don’t think that a lot will show up.’
The situation was also very good. Currently, the 10th Demon World is at war. As a result, many demons went to the battlefield.
In other words, there are not many demons in towns or cities. Even if they attacked the city, the number of high-level demons coming to stop them would be one or two.
If there were one or two, he was confident that he could deal with them lightly.
______________
After Maros arrived at Alin he headed right away to Eshtar’s mansion. His father and manager of Alin.
‘What should I tell my father?’
Maros frowned as he stepped forward. Eshtar would ask about what brought him here. However, he could not tell the truth.
If he said that he ran away because he thought that the main camp was destroyed. He would disgrace the family honor and his bright future will be shattered.
This chapter is scrapped from readlightnovel.org
‘Yeah, that would be great.’
Maros pondered over what excuse he should make, and soon concluded. He thought of a very good excuse.
“Long time no see, Master.”
As soon as Maros arrived at the mansion he was greeted by the soldiers guarding the entrance. Then he went straight to Eshtar’s room.
*Knock*
“Father, this is Maros.”
Maros said after knocking on the room’s door.
“Come in.”
Eshtar’s voice was heard after a while. Maros immediately opened the door and entered the room.
In the room was Hertana Kyrad’s daughter and the war commander. They must have been discussing the war.
“I see the Princess.”
Maros bowed to Hertana.
“At ease.”
Hertana responded to Maros’s greeting with a strange smile.
“What’s going on?”
Eshtar asked, wondering why Maros is here.
“The Amiletta guys have attacked.”
Maros swallowed his saliva and answered Eshtar’s question. He must be careful, if he made a mistake he is done for.
“What? Really?”
Eshtar asked with a surprised expression.
What is Area A like? It is the area dominated by the Kyrad Faction. But the Amiletta guys commit a sudden attack? He could not believe it.
“Yeah, that’s why I was going around each outpost asking for support, and then I heard something strange.”
“Something strange?”
Hertana asked as she was listening to the conversation.
“Yes, that’s why I am here.”
Maros replied.
“I met demons from area B. They said that Area B has already been handed over to the Amilettas.”
A look of surprise appeared on the faces of Eshtar and Hertana.
Even if they lost communication with area B and had already sent messengers to report on the situation, it was already handed over?
“Is that real?”
Hertana said, frowning.
“Yeah, it sounds like the Amiletta brought humans to attack area B.”
They did not attack together, only two humans did but there was no need to say that as they will not believe it. It is impossible to believe that only two humans attacked Area B and destroyed it while killing Riinka as well.
_________
Lipta looked ahead with a puzzled expression. In front of him were Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung leaving through the wagon.
‘I can’t believe it…’
Lipta thought.
Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung returned not long after they had left for the main camp of the Kyrad Faction.
So, at first, Lipta thought that they had given up. But he was wrong; they said that they had taken care of the main base and many demons as well.
Then he said with a smile.
“Kaishud.”
“Yes.”
Kaishud answered Lipta’s call.
“Please go and check it in person.”
He could not just believe the two of them, confirmation was needed.
“Okay.”
He can’t send out the half-hearted demons. At least Kaishud would be able to respond in emergency situations.
“Yes, I will go right away.”
Kaishud immediately left to check the situation of the Kyrad Faction’s main base, ‘Outpost 3’, and Lipta went into the tent.
‘Cranosson-sama was sure that this would happen.’
Lipta entered the tent and looked at the letter on his desk.
Not long after Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung had left, a letter came from Cranosson. It mentioned that reinforcements will arrive soon to take care of Area A.
After a while, Kaishud returned.
‘Looks like they did not lie.’
Even though he did not listen to the report, Lipta was able to understand the situation. It was because Kaishud’s expression was full of surprise and joy.
“How is it?”
The answer was already expected but he asked for confirmation.
Kaishud swallowed his saliva to Lipta’s question and answered with a voice full of excitement.
“Totally destroyed.”
__________
“Soo-hyuk.”
While returning to Ilom after finishing work in Area A Yeon Jeung called Soo Hyuk.
“Yea”
“Congratulations.”
“?”
Soo Hyuk was puzzled by Yeon Jeung’s sudden congratulatory words.
“I just got a call…”
Yeon Jeung continued after seeing Soo Hyuk’s puzzled expression.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.

I am not professionally trained as a writer but I have tried my best to teach myself and make the chapters as clean as possible. I believe I have reached a point where my limited skills cannot improve the work or make any more corrections. It is very difficult to show this work, but if I do not, I fear I will never improve and learn. So here it is. To anyone who lends the time to read all of this and any of my chapters. Thank you.

Avatar: Jǫrðsaga
There is beauty in Chaos and serenity in Order. One cannot exist without the other. Each gives meaning to their counterpart, eternal rivals and eternal lovers. It’s a shame only a rare few ever come to this revelation. Most live their lives trapped in an illusion, their path to enlightenment forever cut off. A lie will forever remain a lie, no matter how sweet it is. I will not turn a blind eye to the truth of the world. It matters not what others think of me, be they family, friends, allies, or enemies. They may call me a monster, a devil, a lunatic even. But I will not bend. I will not break. I will not be forced into conformity under threat posed by the child of Order. Because what is Order if not Chaos’ accomplice? There is only one path worth treading, and I will do whatever it takes to advance forward. For I am Sǫlmundr, Lord of the Earth. Avatar series fanfic. The first volume will not have anything canon. I apologise in advance. It will be setting up the mcs background and origins. It’s gonna be between 60 to 70 chapters in length. The power system in the avatar is pretty non-confrontational. You don’t have to fight for resources like in cultivation novels, so the frequency of his evil acts will be pretty spread out. This is a slow burn novel that I hope will draw readers into the world and slowly build up to whatever the climax of each arc is. I can only promise that he will always be a rational, benefits based mc. No harem. There will be love of some sort, but only because I’m literally forced by the power system to include it. Don’t worry though, mc will always prioritise his own interests first and will not let feelings get in the way. Chapter length: ≈ 2k words Updates: Once a week
