Chapter 231
Chapter 231: Two Humans
‘Human!’
He had thought that the demons of the Amiletta faction had attacked but it turned out to be humans.
“Soo Hyuk, a high-class demon in the back.”
said the man who made eye contact.
At the man’s words, the human sitting in the passenger seat turned his head and looked at him.
The moment he made eye contact with the human, Oredos felt an ominous feeling.
‘Huh?’
The face of a familiar demon came into sight.
‘Radiros?’
That was Outpost 6 Commander Radiros. His body was lying in the ground.
‘Dead?’
Not a single handful of magic was felt. He was obviously dead.
‘From humans?’
In the current situation, the most probable cause for his death were humans.
It was then that a human voice was heard.
“Magic Missile.”
Oredos raised his head. Then he could see magic missiles approaching fast.
‘Really basic spells.’
Is he trying to scratch my nerves?
Oredos frowned at the human wizard.
And he quickly drew his sword and cut the magic missiles.
*Bam*
The magic missile exploded as it was. However, Oredos had no choice but to be extremely surprised about what happened next.
*Crack*
‘Cracked?’
It was because his sword started to crack.
‘From a magic missile?’
He thought it was a basic spell but apparently it wasn’t.
Oredos seemed to understand the reason for his ominous feelings and why Radiros died.
Swallowing his saliva Oredos checked the magic spells that the human started casting at him.
‘Damn.’
Oredos frowned as he looked at the magic.
It was then.
“We are here!”
The demons from the 7th outpost began to arrive one after another.
“Retrea…”
Oredos shouted to the demons but before he could finish his shout, he had no choice but to stop in his tracks.
The magic spells arrived.
[The commander of the 7th Outpost, the high-ranking demon Oredos has died.]
‘As soon as we arrive, two commanders.’
Soo Hyuk smiled as he read the message.
Upon arriving at the Warp Gate, Soo Hyuk was able to fight high demon Radiros, the commander of Outpost 6.
To be honest, it wasn’t a battle. It was a one-sided massacre. It was because Radiros was also killed right away by Hellfire after it finished its cooldown.
“Can you open the second weapon option soon?”
Yeon Jeung asked. Soo Hyuk opened the quest window while continuously casting magic.
{Mage Ryan’s invisible staff 2}
Mage Ryan’s invisible staff has a hidden option. Unlock the hidden options of ‘Mage Ryan’s invisible staff’ by fulfilling the conditions below!

[Hunt monster via Mage Ryan’s invisible staff: 18,527 / 25,000]
[Casting magic through Mage Ryan’s invisible staff: 3,000 / 3,000]
Quest Reward: Mage Ryan’s invisible staff 2nd Option Open
You must complete the quest ‘Mage Ryan’s invisible staff1’ to proceed.
“Yeah, if I only catch 6500 more. Magic Missile.”
Soo Hyuk replied after checking the quest window.
He has already achieved 3000 spells cast. All that was left was hunting monsters.
“You are really lucky.”
Yeon Jeung said in a voice full of envy. Most of the conditions for unlocking the hidden options of the legendary equipment Soo Hyuk is wearing were monster hunting.
And Soo Hyuk caught a lot of monsters such as chimeras and demons which unlocked most of the hidden options of most of his items.
All that was left were ‘Mage Ryan’s invisible staff,
‘Amplification Ring’ and ‘Mage’s Footsteps’
“Fire Spear, what about you?”
Soo Hyuk asked.
Yeon Jeung also had legendary equipment, and options could be unlocked only by catching monsters.
“Because of the Guardian profession it doesn’t go up.”
Yeon Jeung answered with a slightly regretful expression. Through the Guardian profession, he was steadily gaining experience and contribution. But that was it.
The number of monster hunts in the hidden option quest did not go up unless he caught them himself.
“You have to catch me later.”
Of course, it wasn’t too bad. He was just a little sad.
“But are you going to leave the warp gate alone?”
Yeon Jeung asked.
Demons continued to appear through the warp gate. Because of that, the number of remaining demons in the quest ‘3rd Outpost’ was not decreasing.
“Yea.”
Soo Hyuk nodded his head. The moment they arrived at the Warp Gate he had that idea.
It was just the thought of the conditions to satisfy the quest ‘Break the Wings’.
Conditions that were not met even after killing Commander ‘Rhodel’
So, he thought he had to complete ‘Outpost 3’.
“Maybe the condition is related to the number of the remaining demons.”
However, what if the demons retreating is not the condition?
What if the number of remaining demons is a satisfied condition?
What if the conditions are not met with the remaining demons even after breaking the warp gate?
They will have to travel to another outpost.
In that case, it will take a large amount of time. Because of that, Soo Hyuk did not destroy the warp gate.
“The amount of experience and contribution we get is very good.”
In addition, they can get experience and contribution points.
“Oh, it is.”

Yeon Jeung nodded when he realized why Soo Hyuk didn’t destroy the warp gate.
“Child of darkness, child of darkness.”
Soo Hyuk summoned the child of darkness again, whose summoning time had almost run out.
“Kill all the demons that appear at the warp gate over there.”
When he was giving that order.
[Warning!]
[The commander of the 5th outpost, a high-level demon Vortex has appeared.]
The commander of the 5th outpost appeared.
Soo-hyeok looked at the warp gate with a smile.
A demon wearing luxurious armor came into view. It was obviously a Vortex.
“Oredos? Radiros?”
Just like Oredos, Vortex was perplexed when he saw the corpses of two high-level demons.
Seeing the bewildered Vortex, Soo Hyuk opened his mouth.
“Flame.”
“What? Radiros-sama?”
Maros frowned after finally arriving at the 6th outpost.
“Yes, he met the demons from area B and went right away.”
The deputy commander Haladion answered Maros’s words.
‘Good.’
He thought that he would be late, but thankfully he already went ahead.
‘But why did he go?’
Then after a sudden thought, Maros asked Haladion. What kind of conversation did you have that made the commander lead the troops?
“Do you know what’s going on?”
“That…”
This chapter is scrapped from readlightnovel.org
Haladion shook his head. Only Radiros had a conversation with the demon.
“Where is that demon?”
Maros asked. He can ask him directly.
“He is healing his wounds in the tent.”
“How is his condition? Is it enough to have a conversation?”
“Yes, shall I guide you?”
Haladion asked.
“Yea.”
Haladion took the lead at Maros’s words and started guiding.
“Here it is.”
After a while, they arrived at the tent, and Maros followed Haladion inside.
Inside the tent, there was a demon wrapped in bandages. It was clear that it was the demon from area B.
“I see you, Haladion!”
The demon stood up when he found Haladion.
“This is Maros-sama.”
Haladion introduced Maros to the demon.
“Ugh!”
Motor was very surprised by Haladion’s words. Who was Maros?
Although the rank of the armed forces was not very high, he was a demon with a strong future as clearly pointed out by him being a deputy commander of the main base at area A.
No matter how much he is in a different area, he has heard about him at least.
“Intermediate Demon Motor! See you Maros!”
With a surprised expression, Motor introduced himself. It was a great opportunity to imprint his name on Maros.
“I have a question for you.”
After the introduction of Motor, Maros went straight to the point.
He had to resolve this question and return to the main camp as soon as possible.
“Yes sir!”
“What kind of conversation did you have with Radiros-sama?”
Was it because it was an unexpected question? Motor looked bewildered at the question.
“What was the conversation about, so that Radiros-sama went straight to the base? And I’m also curious about what brought you here from Area B.”
He also wondered why Motor, who should have been in Area B, is here.
“That…”
Motor blurred the end of his words.
“?”
Maros tilted his head at Motor’s reaction. Why is he reacting like this? Maros gave strength to his eyes.
Motor finally opened his mouth to those eyes
“Area B has been taken over.”
“Oh, taken ov… what area B was taken over?”
Maros was momentarily taken aback by Motor’s words.
“Yes, the humans have invaded.”
“Humans? invaded?”
“Yeah, they came alone.”
Motor trembled as he remembered the two men who had attacked the base. Maros thought as he looked at the fear in Motor’s eyes.
‘Amiletta bastards, did you bring humans?’
They couldn’t do it on their own, so they have brought humans into the war.
‘But what about humans?’
But there was something he didn’t understand: it was only two humans. What is the big deal?
No matter how strong humans are, they are only humans in the end.
Even if they joined forces with humans, it is unbelievable that Area B has been lost to only two humans?
‘Riinka-sama is there too.’
Area B was where Riinka was not pushed by anyone in the Kyrad faction when it came to magic.
Area B, where Riinka is located, was handed over to the Amyletta faction by two humans? It did not make sense.
‘I don’t think he’s lying.’
But it didn’t seem like Motor was lying. What the hell happened?
“Redkros-sama was killed by those humans. I heard that Riinka-nim was killed as well.”
Motor continued.
Maros couldn’t say anything at what he heard.
*Swoosh*
Maros turned around without a word and left the tent.
And he immediately thought as he walked to the warp gate.
‘Redkros sama and Riinka sama died to humans?’
He didn’t understand.
How could they die to humans, well he could understand if it was Redkros but Riinka sama?
“Are you going to leave right away?”
Shocked by Motor’s words as well, Haladion asked.
“Yeah, I need to go back soon.”
Maros replied with a nod of his head. Then went into the warp gate.
‘What if the humans invaded?’
Anyway, what if the people who attacked the main base now are the humans who attacked Area B?
‘Can we stop them?’
If what Motor said was true, it would be impossible. Didn’t Riinka die too?
‘I have to meet father.’
Eventually Maros changed his destination.
